This used to be my only cleanser for nearly 7-12 months. It wasn't overly stripping, removed makeup and was basic in terms of bottle design and hygienic. Slowly my skin started to get a little more red and a little more angry and I never put two and two together... All of a sudden my eyelid would start swelling and i was blaming my mascaras and dietary conditions and all sorts, only to realize my eyelid had swelled beyond recognition for days at a time because of this cleanser! My eyelid would itch then swell and puff like crazy, nearly cutting off my vision, and the skin would crack and flake off in big pieces. The most horrendous sight to be seen. It'd take at least 3 days to look somewhat normal and then an entire week plus a day or two to be entirely gone. I nicknamed the reaction the "Quazimodo" effect. It was disasterous. Now i have hyper sensitive lids that are permenantly dry and a bit flakey until I can find a product to try heal this hidious reaction. I hope this serves as a solution to my fellow devoted natural skin care lovers in case they cannot find what is causing reactions and hopefully saves a few unsightly messes and anguish over the exhaustion of ideas to what could cause such irritation in those of us unfortunate to strike it :(

Fragrances -Christian Dior - Miss Dior Cherie Blooming Bouquet

This is a beautiful perfume. I bought a 30ml bottle, use 2 sprays every day and i have a third of the bottle left still after 7 months! This is definitely my signature scent, its light,floral and has the tiniest sweet touch to it. It may not be the most original perfume out there but this perfume could not fail for me. I love taking my heavy jackets off or top after long drawn out days and being reminded of the perfume from the warmth of my skin, the boyfriend also loves it and hes usually a perfume-phobe. If this is ever discontinued it will break my heart, especially in New Zealand where we aren't exactly exposed to the wonderfully broad ranges that overseas nations receive. It's non offensive, comforting and brightens up your attitude for the day, I definitely recommend you try it :)

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Juicy tubes in Peche

i managed to get this on my lancome points reward scheme. yay!! this is definately a good sweet every day look when you dont want to be a full faced walking cosmetic case. it adds a touch of translucent pink to my non coloured lips with a spectacular shine. i dont like overly glossy pouts so i dot it around my lips gently and smooth it around just for a touch of gloss and no high reflective shine. it is a bit sticky but its not a pain to bear, that generally means it will last alot longer and this gloss most definately does!! peche smells and tastes like peach pastilles and is soooo yummyyummy!! i will definately buy more JTs purely because the amount you get and the quality of it in comparison to other glosses out there makes it stand way out beyond the rest. id definately recommend them to friends and family.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Cremesheen Glass in Partial to Pink

this sheen is the perfect sweet pink colour gloss to add to my complexion (rather pale not sure my MAC code). it adds a soft touch of pink and doesn't make me look sickily as you may get the impression of with its touch amount of milky tone to it, and simply beautiful with a small touch of blush or simply bare face and a little mascara and a swish of this sheen and im certainly ready to go. the formula isnt sticky and annoyingly tacky as most glosses and sheens are and doesnt leave a disgusting residue either, but you do tend to reapply quite a bit thru out the day which i suppose is to be expected. its a nice creamy gloss with a nice dose of moisture and doesnt attract my hair to it like hair to a fresh toffee apple so thats definately a fiver right there :) dont know if id buy again considering it is a pretty dupable colour and it is expensive in NZ ($45?) but because of its brilliant texture and its colour it just seems to fit me so well i probably will on one of those days you feel like splurging on something a bit more luxurious than your usual.

thuis smells like... vanillary slight mocha goodness. its soo good for a morning wakeup call especially in these erratic Auckland weather patterns and winter hammering. The scent: Vanilla is not sickly sweet like most products tend to be when mass marketed but more of a deeper darker scent with a small coffee note which just makes the creaminess of the scent a bit bitter but in an extremely pleasant way, kind of makes the vanilla pop beautifully. Product consistancy: i definately recommend cutting the bar up so it makes it last longer or you may be slightly annoyed at the longevity of it. i slice small slices of it before i go into the shower whilst in my room and it makes my room smell so delicious. In the shower: this for me was so worth the cost. it leaves your skin with a very very light scent and is no way offensive and just delicious, whenever i wave my arms or hands around my face i get a small whiff and it makes me fall inlove with it more. it leaves my skin delicously soft and ive even used it for shaving my legs and it made my legs simply silky smooth (followed with sympathy for the skin). the odd thing that entertained me was that it lathers YELLOW!! it doesnt leave a stain on your skin so dont worry about that :) other wise highly recommended if youre into sexy vanilla scents and yummy yummy skin

i was looking originally at buying the mmm melting moments bath melt but i wanted something that'd last longer than a couple baths so i decided to pick this up as an alternative. it smells like.... sweet vanillary.... candy..... marshmellow juicy sweetness is the only way i can describe it so definitely check it out if you're into sweet scents. my skin is dry and this didn't leave my skin feeling worse for wear but it wasn't moisturizing but i got it primarily for its scent and it just left my skin fine, but i always follow up with moisturizer regardless. the scent does linger but not strongly so if you got your nose close to your skin you would smell it so it is a nice gentle reminder. I personally wont be repurchasing it. i don't know why but i wouldn't. sometimes you click with a product but this time i didnt. so it recieves quite the neutral response from me.

i was having the most hideous week and wandered into lush for a piece of sunshine in the midst of this dreary southern hemisphere winter. i was ushered to sexy peel. as soon as i inhaled the scent of this i immediately felt sunshine and happiness and refuse to let it go while i continued to wonder around the store looking for some more items to break my funk. i left it in my bag whilst i went to a few more classes and went home and id occasionally get a good whiff of this awesomely citrusy lemony delicious soap and now my bathroom smells of divine sexy peel. it doesnt remind me even in the slightest of those hidiously false citrus scented cleaning products that have all scarred us somewhere in our childhood haha. its delightfully sweet and creamy. Sexy peel doesnt dry out my skim, leaves it feeling smooth with a small tiny amount of scrub from the peel within the soap and im left scented for quite a while after hopping out of the shower which i love. definitely good for those hideous days and you need a good slapping wakeup.

This moisturizer is absolutely fantastic!! i use it all over my skin and it leaves it extremely soft and with a very light scent which does fade slowly. scent: banana vanilla whip to me it smells more vanillary and when it absorbs into my skin with a slight powderyness and its so soothing to my nose its just yummy!! i do find it does tend to take a spot longer than usual to absorb entirely but its not at all bothersome. its highly moisturizing and perfect for my hideously bothersome skin that flares at the sight of anything. repurchase is guaranteed and ill definitely recommend it to anyone.

i wish this was permanent!!! it smells like sweet creamy honey and dear gawsh i LOVE this stuff. Ive stocked up on three huge bottles of it when it was out and im nearing the end of my second bottle and starting to cry more and more the more i use it!! (even though it makes me feel so good and happy when i use it :) ) the scent of this product is pure honey and its so indulgent since i have the sweetest honey tooth. i hope this is brought back in the future so i can go mad and stock up more!! it doesnt dry the skin, the scent lingers but isnt offensive at all and i love layering candy fluff body powder over it!! makes me feel like an angel with somewhat seedy intentions ^.^ recommend whole hearted to those who LOVE LOVE LOVE honey. 5 stars!

Would you buy this product again? yes YES A MILLION TIMES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have horrifically anally retentive hair that does not want to play. for notes my hair is THICK brunette and waist length and extremely wavy/curly. This is HG for me without a doubt. it makes my hair smooth, soft and shiny and i never ever got that with other products to the same degree. I've been thru quite a few salon brands (which will be reviewed at a later date) and as soon as i turned to lush on my knees and hands clasped together begging for help i was turned to this and i have never looked back. the scent is like.... vanilla waffles smacked about with something else i can't quite pick at.... some like the scent some dont but for me it doesn't bother me.. I wash my hair with Ultimate shine lush bar then towel dry my hair, smother my hair in AC and tie it up and finish my shower routine then wash out. guaranteed amazeballs!! but it is definately not for people with thin and/or oily hair IMO due to its quite heavy nature and intenseness but id recommend this to those in my shoes in a heartbeat

only bought this cause i was heading out of the city where its my last lush pit stop and they didn't have any sweetie pie left :( didn't like it. i was expecting something crazy citrus but with a mellowness to it? (if it makes sense) and all i got was the scent of dish washing liquid. was not happy at all in the slightest. going to try palm this off onto a relative to see if they like it but i defiantly wont be crying when this is discontinued.

this soap smells like sweet berry candies, which happen to be my most favoured thing in life right now!! it makes a great hand soap but on my skin it made it horridly tight and extremely dry on the first use, i gave it two more attempts and boy did it not like me in the slightest!! so this is purely reserved for the soap dish on the special off occasion i'm feeling a bit splurgy on a basin soap :/

i really like this perfume. a soft floral and perfect for spring/summer. its light, floral and not overpowering and soft with a touch of sweetness that isn't sugar but more like a rose flavoured turkish delight sort of sweet if you get my drift. on me this is how it reacts and is worth the purchase. its not an outrageously individual scent, but for me it suits me in all aspects and for me thats what counts and not this perfume snobbery which seems to be rampant in todays society. it makes me happy and makes the world just a bit more lovelier the days i wear it EDIT: this perfume has turned absolutely rancid... i have no idea maybe it was just a bad batch or something or my nose has turned on me i dont know.... will update again if further changes if i try another bottle but wow was not expecting it.

ahhh multi use products how i love thee!! this is the only teatree oil i use. picked up for i think 12 dollars in the supermarket? i initially bought this to help with the bouts of breakouts and pimples i was getting and boy was it effective!! (i used this in conjunction with an oatmeal cleanser/mask) i mixed 1tsp TTO and 10tsp water, soaked a cotton pad in the solution and used it on my breakout areas and general face, let it dry and then moisturized. this solution can definately be manipulated to be stronger or weaker and it definately keeps pimples at bay. Also for a spot treatment i dropped a drop or two on to a cotton tip and dabbed it on my pimples. i LOVE how it has the little dispenser oil bay thing inside the bottle to dispense only drops of oil at a time which saves alot of potential wastage of such a good product. not only is it good for your breaks out but its a good disinfectant for itchybites, scratches and what not so definately keep a bottle of this handy in the medicine cabinet.

Blush -Lancome - Blush Subtil in Rose Sable

knocked a lippie off automatically just for the high price... NZ mark up is just beyond the joke!! GRR!!! right on to the product :) i use teint miracle in 010 beige porcelaine and this blush compliments my tone perfectly. its a delicate rosy dusky pinky tone and it instantly perks up my complexion. i apply this after letting my foundation sit for a couple minutes with a duo fiber brush (MAC 187) and it gives the perfect light colour which is easily buildable. with what little blush is left on the blush after doing my cheeks i sweep very gently thru my t zone to give the tiniest hint of flush which makes my pale complexion alot more warmer and not so ghastly pale. this blush lasts on me from morning till evening (10-13 hours) which is absolutely brilliant and doesnt oxidize on me so lasting is definately not an issue. i use this 3-5 times a week (daily, one app in the morn) and the rose pressed into the powder is still prominent!! s product longevity is clearly a win. i would like to try find some cheaper alternatives but considering the limited range of cosmetic companies available and the reliability ive had with this blush im a little hesitant to stray as i dont want to waste money on something subpar when this does exactly what i wish to do and very well. softens my complexion and gives a lovely natural flush.
