Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Professional Angled Foundation Brush #51

The sales rep suggested this one over the regular foundation brush by Sephora. It was a good choice. It works great around the eyes. If you use cream or liquid foundation, be sure to clean it regularly, or you'll get light streaking that you'll have to work out. It's a great brush tho. I highly recommend.
I got this at Sephora, without the benefit of my beautypedia recommendations. I was happy to find that she likes it to. It has great coverage. It's a little heavier than I'm used to, but then again I'm used to sheer. This does a better job. I started layering it as a concealer, and is a more natural color that matches my skin than teh regular Bobbi Brown I was using. I like it a lot. I'll buy it again, unless I find something I like even better.

I ran out of my regular Neocutis Bio-restorative Serum with PSP, and decided to try this stuff based on my aesthetician's advice. After 2 weeks, I gave up, as the good that the Neocutis did for me was disappearing, and the fine lines were coming back in droves. This did not work at all for me. I didn't have any breakouts or other problems, but it was a waste of money. Coincidentally, while waiting to get more of the Neocutis, I tried prescription premarin that my dermatologist had recommended long ago. That stuff really works.

**HG PRODUCT This is the only non prescription cream that has really worked for me on fine lines and plumping up the skin. It took about a week before I started to notice, and I have been using it for 3 months now. It is not collagen in a bottle, but it's the best cream I've ever seen. People ask me if I've had botox, and I believe it's because of this stuff (and I quit smoking.) I use this in conjunction with the biorestorative serum by neocutis. It is really, really, pricey stuff. However, it is very effective. It won't take 10 years off, but will really soften and rejuvenate the skin subtly. Although I feel tazorac and salicylic acid offer slightly more dramatic results to fine lines and collagen production, I can't use them anymore due to rosacea. This cream doesn't irritate my skin at all.
HG HG HG HG. Until I got rosacea, I never knew how good I had it. I used to use tretinoin, but then switched to this as I'm getting a little older and I need help getting rid of the increasing number of fine lines. I noticed a marked improvment with this over tretinoin in 24 hours. My pores were smaller, my skin looked smoother, my acne scars disappear quickly. This stuff makes my skin look amazing. The cream form does have a tendency, however, to give me white heads. I felt that tretinoin was a little better at relieving acne, but combined with the pill this is just better all around. If my doctor would lift the ban on this stuff, I'd be back to looking 25 again. There is no other beauty product on this board that I would recommend higher. Just be sure to use a GOOD daily sunblock (not chemical sunscreen) with zinc or titanium dioxide of 30 spf. Your skin is a lot more susceptible to sun spots (freckles that grow into larger age spots) and I have, to my dismay, discovered that chemical sunscreens do not protect nearly as well.
I like this brush quite a bit. In the am when I'm in a hurry, I pass by the 239 and use the 217 exclusively. It's quite a bit more versatile.
Honestly, other than the dorky little sponge tip applicators inside drugstore eye shadows, I had no real idea how these brushes are supposed to work. I gave it a 4 because it worked out well and a whole lot better than teh sponge tips. Although I do like the 217 better because it seems I can do the same things this one can, plus blend out a smoke eye.
This brush wasn't worth the inflated price. It was ok, but I found a better brush inside a box I was about to throw away with Bare escentuals makeup in it. That alone speaks volumes.

HG brush for eyeliner and eyebrows. I honestly don't know what I did before I started using these brushes.

HG. I got this with my bare minerals starter kit. I chucked the kit, with the exception of this, the kabuki brush, and the rever upper. I had two other concealer brushes, one from Bobbi brown and another from Sephora. Neither are as good as this one.

Great shiny gloss that moisturizes well and smells yummy. Not my hg, but is a good one.

I don't really know how well this is protecting my hair from thermal damage since it's already slightly damaged from a lot of hot curling iron and flat iron use. I keep using it anyway, because it doesn't seem to be getting any worse than when I began using it. However, I do not like the fragrance. It smells musky and masculine to me. And it's usually one of 5 products I use in my hair if I style it, so I really am looking for something with less odor.
I achieved with this, what I was looking for with the Nars Orgasm. This added a light rosey color. It's harder to be heavy handed than with teh nars. I wear this when I'm wearing pink or red glosses and lipsticks. I wear the nars orgasm with browns and peaches. I'm glad it's not as pigmented as in the pot, because it would be too much for me.
I love the orgasm, but the duo isn't really HG for my skin tone. I'm somehwat fair skinned (until summer), and the bronzer looks too brown on me during the day. So I skip it and just use the orgasm which has a nice peachy color, but if I'm heavy handed looks more orange. I can use the contour in the evening, though. I saw it on a woman with very white skin and it looked almost pink. You really have to try it first to see if it suits your skin tone.
I use this in bisque, with a concealer brush. I also make sure that I evenly apply sunscreen and moisturizer, and allow them to dry for about 5 minutes so that teh concealer doesn't cake. This, along with a good concealer brush makes all of teh difference. I didn't like the Bobbi brown brush, so I used a larger orange/yellow one I got from bare escentuals which works perfectly. This works really well, however I have lighter skin under my eyes than on the rest of my face so the salmon color isn't ideal unless I want to spread it everywhere under my eyes. I may try a lighter color before I settle with this as hg.
