MY skin saviour!! yes, packaging leaves much to be desired - unhygienic and messy! the price is not TOO cheap ...can't compare it to drugstore prices, but beats the department store range of products. Another thing annoying about this product is the mess you tend to create when removing it off the face.sigh, do set aside a couple of minutes after that to clean the sink area. that said ...i still LOVE this product!! I was skeptical when i first bought it...but boy, am I glad i gave it a go! I suffered from acne between the ages of 20-27. Yes , i am 27 now. My friend recently turned me onto oil cleansers, and it made a world of difference to my skin. it improved dramatically...and then plateaued. sigh. And then i realised i need a mask! or a scrub that was not grainy and harsh....enter GENTLE FACE BUFF. I used it every fourth day for 2 weeks, and people started asking me what I have been doing to my face. My mineral makeup now looks flawless on. I will say that this product will probably not do much without a good cleansing and moisturising regime that goes with it. but every time i use it, it does indeed BUFF the face. skin is smoother, skintone is now even (After about a month of using it) and acne scars are fading away at a slightly faster rate than usual ( still not miraculous though). the pores on my cheeks have also shrunk. must be because it has totally cleaned everything out and my pores can now close happily! I live in a dry and cool climate area (Canberra, Australia), and this buff has offered the benefits of a mask and scrub without any drying effects. I bought it for AUD36.95. been using it for a month now, every fourth day. I believe this jar will last me at least 3-4 months. but I am planning on cutting back to once a week soon. the price is rather decent for the kind of effects I have seen with the use of this product. If this is an amount you can spare, please try it out. wish it came in tube though, seriously.

Love it love it love it! this product softens your skin and truly preps it for moisturising. most of my friends who use the acne line do not bother with the version up, but I find that it makes a HUGE difference to how my Moisture Up works! When I was in Asia during the break, i found that Version Up was not entirely neccessary, but once back in drier Australia, i NEED my Version up. skin feel noticably softer and more moisturised.Think of it as a toner...a very moisturising and softening toner. give it a go..it migght be the product for you ;)

I am still on my first bottle for this one. Been using it for 6 motnhs, and am barely halfway thru it. It is very lightweight, and does not make ur skin feel sticky. HOwever, i have my doubts on its function as a base....i think it leaves a white cast, and tends to make your aoverall foundation appear greyish. But, if not planning on that glowy, sun kissed look, it is great. It leaves the skin feeling smooth. I am not sure how much it actually whitens, as i have not had this effect. But it helps to have a sunscreen that is non pore clogging , and feel comfortable on your face too. I am definitely purchasing another bottle when I am done. But once I am done with the acne and the residual scars, i might move on to something thats isnt supposed to fade the dark spots (like a Neutrogena Dry Touch, or Shiseido Anessa)
this products saved my face on a budget! I love this , mainly cos you get to moisturise without having to put your fingers on ur face....which is desirable when u are covered in little pimples all over ur face. It does take a bit for the moisturiser to set in, and often i do my Version Up, Followed by Moisture Up..and then i go about my other activities before putting on my suncscreen. For the price, the outcome is great. I have stopped getting pimples, and my skin has cleared up in this time. Worked better than L'occitane and Clinique products that i tried. But, maybe I was just lucky.
