Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - MUA - 12 Shade Palette - Undressed

I rushed to buy this after seeing some video reviews which compared each shade to the Naked palette. I do not own the UD palette and would not invest so much money in one product (especially since I have so many products already) so I figured out I could give this a try. Man, you cannot go wrong with it! the colors are beautiful and really easy to pair to create everyday looks. I love the combinations you can make with it and with a good primer it lasts the whole day for me. the consistency it's not the creamiest but it's also not bad considering it is so cheap. really easy to carry around as well since it's so compact, even though I find the packaging it's not the best and tends to be a bit too fragile. definetly a great buy for its price, and MUA often has discount and free products so it's just a good staple to keep in your collection.
I received this blush in a swap and neglected it for the longest time, but after a few uses I just started using it on a daily basis and it's currently my to-go blush for my everyday look at work. I normally do not love shimmery blushes but I think this has the perfect amount of glow to make you look healthy without showing up too much. I have the color Pink Flush and it's a warm toned pink that has the right amount of pigmentation and a perfect shade for many skin colors. I love the packaging because it's really compact and super easy to throw in your bag or to travel.I notice it's not really long wearing and I need one retouch if I plan to stay out all day. all in all, a really good product, easy to use and just not complicated at all :)
This product is just perfect for me! I mean, you cannot beat the price. but also, I find the quality really good. it just makes my eyeshadow last all day and keeps their color vibrant and intense. I apply this in the morning and when I come back home at night my make up is still crease free. the color just helps making the lid all matte and neutral and helps bring out the tones of the eyeshadows I use on top. the packaging is good. I like primers in pots but they tend to dry out a lot quicker than this tube ones. I would only like the tube to be transparent to be able to see when the product is actually over. I will repurchase again and again, for sure. it just makes a great job for me and I don't see why I should buy more expensive products when I can have such good quality for this price.
This is my first creaseless cream shadow/liner and I got it in a swap here because I wanted to try it so badly in this colour, which is supposed to be flattering on almost all eye colors and skintones. I mostly use this when I need a quick makeup which has to last all day without touch-ups, and I have to say this never fails. This product is REALLY creaseless on me. I applied it on sunday at 7.30 in the morning to go to work and then ended up spending the whole day out. It started slightly creasing around midnight! for me it's just miracolous. I usually put a tiny bit of primer underneath if I know I'm gonna need extra duration, otherwise I apply it directly on the eyelid. the color is a beautiful mix of grey and green which looks really sophisticated and adds a lovely light to my hazel eyes. you only need a tiny bit of black eyeliner and it already looks like a proper makeup even if you spent less than 5 mins on it. the packaging is okay although the glass jar makes it not super convenient to travel, but all in all is good. I never tried it as a liner but I will as soon as I have a chance. I want to try other colors too because these seem to work really well for me.
Eye Shadow -L.A. Colors - 12 palette e/s in traditional

I got this as a part of a big swap and neglected it in the beginning. then I re-discovered it and now I reach for it quite often in the morning when I'm in a hurry and I need a simple neutral look. it's a really cheap item but for its price I think overall the quality is not bad at all. the colors are actually pretty interesting for a neutral palette. there's a lovely peachy color, some nice gold/orange shades, and a couple of purple/browns which are really flattering on brown/hazel eyes. so I consider it a neutral with a twist, actually. the texture is a bit chalky but not worse than other cheap eyeshadows, like the elf basic line for example. they last the whole day with a good primer underneath. I am not bothered by the smell at all, because it reminds me of my grandma powders when I was a little girl :) the downside is the packaging, because it's really cheap and breaks easily so it's not superhandy to carry around, which is a pity because it's so small it would be ideal to throw in your bag.
Mascara -Essence - Multi Action False Lash Effect Mascara
beegirl81 4/30/2012 1:11:00 PM
I am a huge fan of essence mascaras and I tried many of them, but this one was a big disappointment to me. I love the other multiaction mascaras, the basic one (pink) and the smokey effect (orange) because they both deliver a nice effect for everyday looks. I really hoped this one would give a slightly more dramatic effect but unfortunately it just doesn't work for me. First of all, this mascara clumps incredibly on my lashes. If I apply one coat, the effect is just too natural. but as soon as I apply the second, my lashes look clumpy and horrible. The brush looks like the other multiaction mascara (the pink one) maybe just slightly bigger, so it must be the formula which does not work for me. So i am trying to use it anyway but I mostly wear it to work or on days where I do not really care too much about makeup. I won't repurchase for sure.
I am not sure what the "smokey effect" means in a mascara but I enjoyed using this one a lot. I just finished a tube because I ended up using it every single day for day and night looks. fist of all I loved the brush. the shape seemed really weird to me in the beginning (flat on the sides and pointy in the end) but then I realised it was just perfect to catch eyelashes on the sides which gave a lovely effect. the formula was really good because it kept the curl to my lashes, so it was not too heavy, but also not too runny. this mascara gave me a decent volume, some lenght, and a lovely effect with both one or two coats. I also like the simple packaging and of course I love the price. I love almost all Essence mascaras, I think they are such a good bargain, and you can enjoy trying different looks since the prices are so cheap. Can't wait to try the new ones!
Tinted Moisturizer -E.L.F. - Tinted Moisturizer Spf 15

This tinted moisturiser does just what it has to do: moisturises the skin and gives it a really light coverage. it still looks like your skin, only slightly better! I have been using it everyday since I have it. You will end up going through it really quickly if you use it every day, because the packaging is quite tiny. But the price is so cheap it's definetly worth. I am not bothered by smell as well, it's a sweet orangey kind of smell, but definetly not too strong once applied. I noticed that it leaves my skin very soft even after I remove it. It's just an easy product to use in the morning if you want a no-makeup look. I think I will repurchase it sooner or later in one of my next e.l.f. orders. all in all, a nice easy product for everyday looks.
I LOVE these babies! I bought all of them on a 33% essence sale at my local drugstore. They are already dirt cheap (around €3 in the netherlands) and with the discount I simply thought it was worth getting them all! At the moment I am mostly using London Baby, which is a dark brown/grey color, really great for neutral looks with a small twist and for everyday makeup. these gels are super soft, easy to work with, easy to use to both draw thin lines or dramatic looks and very pigmented and long lasting... at that price you cannot find anything like this! and the colors are amazing... the purple and green have a lovely shimmer which makes them even more interesting! I would repurchase again and again.
I bought this quad on a clearance sale at my local drugstore. I was mainly curious about the taupe color but I have to say that I am really pleased with all the eyeshadows in it. it's a great everyday palette, I brought it on a long trip and ended up using it everyday. it's also really useful to quickly turn a day look in a night look as there are also dark colors in it. the colors are not super pigmented but personally I find it a plus in this palette because I can choose how intense I want the color to be. they last the whole day with a good primer underneath and only after 8+ hours I start seeing a little creasing. the texture is not super creamy and they tend to be a bit chalky but the price is so cheap I can totally live with that. I would definetly purchase again or purchase other color combinations.
I own a few of these pencils. they are so cheap and the colors are so great that I can hardly resist the temptation to buy them all! I managed to finish the Teddy one because it became my everyday pencil for neutral makeup. I also use the black one and the dark blue one. these pencils are really pigmented and easy to use. the staying power is really good on the lid, not so good on the waterline but considering their cheap price, it's already much more than I expected. I will buy them again and again because they are just perfect for daily use.
One of my all times favourites. it just makes your hand look nice and cute, especially when your nails would be too short for a proper mani. on long nails gives a really nice elegant look. I like that it's not really pink or white, but something in between. I think it has a good texture, which looks nice and creamy with two coats. it also lasts quite long without chipping. I keep going back to it every time I want something simple and feminine.
I live in the Netherlands and here 2true is sold in drugstores. Each item costs 1.99€, or you get three for 5€. When I saw this brand I was basically only interested in the cheek stains, which look a lot like Benefit Benetint and Posietint. I never tried the original ones but I can assure you this product does the trick, especially considering its tiny tiny price! It needs of course a bit of practice to avoid "extreme" looks, but if you want a natural healthy flush of color you need to apply it in small dots with the brush (or your fingers) and blend blend blend as quick as possible. the result is lovely, a tiny drop goes a looong way and the color is really flattering. I think this is suitable for all skin tones as you can build the color to the desired level. I would definetly repurchase this, but I think it's going to last forever!
So far, one of the best mascaras I ever tried, and probably the best from all the Essence ones I used. I just discovered this is going to be discontinued so I bought a backup. I started using this mascara around 2 weeks ago because my lashes were a bit stressed after a full month of removing waterproof mascara by YR and black drama flash lashes effect by Maybelline (both pretty stubborn to remove actually!). I definetly needed something easy to remove and gentle on my eyelashes and this mascara is just perfect, because its formula is made to be removed with warm water only. So at night I don't need to rub any makeup remover on my eyes, I just gently touch my lashes with warm water and pass them through my fingers. all the mascara comes off easily, and my lashes fall much less. I have full long lashes and I find this mascara perfect for my lashes. It gives time a full and nice effect, it keeps them curled and the brush is so tiny that it's really easy to reach all the lashes. with two coats I get a really dramatic effect, I love it.The formula is pretty light though, so it might not be as good for shorter lashes. Definetly a great product, I am really sad it's not going to be in the regular range anymore, but there are so many nice mascaras out there to try...I am sure I will find something else :)
So far, my worst experience with Essence mascaras, which I really love in general. this mascara dried really quickly in the tube. when I applied it, it made my lashes too chunky and it did not lenghten enough. also, the brush is huge and this did not allow me to reach all the lashes. I won't buy it again, probably I need a different formula because my lashes are pretty long and curly, and this mascara was a bit too heavy. also, essence has so many kinds I like more than this one, and the prices are so cheap that I don't feel like I should give it another try...
