Concealers -Bare Escentuals - Bisque

Wow when i opened this up it looked sooo dark i thought it was going to be a waste of money. I was wrong for ref im NC15 and this works fine on me. I apply cream concealer under my eyes first and set it with this powder and it instantly gives full coverage and hides circles very well, i have very dark circles from inner corner to outer corner and this covers them perfectly, it lasts all day, it doesnt set into fine lines and doesnt look cakey. You dont have to apply loads a tiny amount blotted under the eye just to finish a cream concealer and its the perfect finish. Its well worth the money considering you only need a tiny amount. Very impressed!

Liquid -E.L.F. - Flawless Finish Foundation
becky9106 9/25/2011 1:09:00 PM
This foundation was okay i wouldnt buy it again because there are plenty of better drugstore foundations that might cost a bit more but will give better results. This foundation is great for people who like sheer coverage and/or have dry skin but for me with oily skin it doesnt last and i like fuller coverage. It has a funny smell, you can smell that there are perfumes or chemicals in there its not a normal foundation/cosmetic smell. The bottle is smaller than most other drugstore foundations and the pump seems to be faulty on mine. Dissapointed :(

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Mineral Veil
becky9106 9/13/2011 3:28:00 PM
Well its not great. Considering how expensive it is i had hoped it would be a bit better, in all honesty the E.L.F Mineral Powder is better! After foundation i apply concealer to any blemishes and under my eyes, for some reason this powder just sticks to concealer and makes my face look patchy and blotchy, no other powder i own does this its freakin' annoying, I wouldnt buy it again will definately stick to my MSF!

Lips -Sleek - Pout Paint - ALL
becky9106 9/13/2011 3:13:00 PM
These are the perfect alternative to the OCC lip tars, they are cheaper and can be found at Superdrug. There are a range of colours i have Milkshake which is a dupe of the OCC Divine shade, Minx which is a dupe of the OCC Memento and Peachy Keen which is a orange/coral colour. As with the OCC lip tars the smallest drop goes a long way, full opaque finish, lasts a long time even through drinking and eating and dries to a matte finish. The tube will last a long time and i would definately recommend these as an alternative to OCC they are exactly the same!

Foundations -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One
becky9106 9/13/2011 8:40:00 AM
I was very excited to see a well known brand bring out a BB cream in the UK. Ive been using it for about a week know and i like the product but im not overly amazed. In prinicipal its between a tinted moisuriser and a foundation. The coverage is okay not great but it did even out my skintone and impart a healthy glow. I got the lightest shade and feel this was a little too dark/orange for me but once blended in thoroughly it looks okay. It is very moisturising and smells lovely, however i have very oily skin and im afraid to say after an hour or so i look a shiney mess. Its something i would wear on a day im not doing much but i couldnt wear it to work or out on a night because it doesnt last. Something i would definately wear on holiday but i prefer a little more coverage and lasting power!

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Lemon Drop SPF 15
becky9106 9/5/2011 4:42:00 AM
Love the EOS lip balms. I bought 4, summer fruit, sweet mint, lemon drop and tangerine. They all smell lovely apply smooth like any other lip balm. Very moisturising i would say the only one likely to heal chapped lips is tangerine because thats the medicated one the others are good if you dont suffer from really chapped or dry lips just to apply throughout the day. The stay power isnt bad i find it to be equal to most other lip balms it just depends if your eating/drinking etc. I paid alot of money for these, I live in England so they were £5 each but i should imagine they will last a very long time.

Lips -Clinique - Chubby Stick - Woppin Watermelon *NEW FORMULA*
becky9106 8/16/2011 4:24:00 AM
I like this product but its not worth the £15 price tag. The product is packaged very nice for a lip balm, the idea of using a thick pencil is great but essentially it is the same as most other lip balms. Lip balms do not need to be in pencil form, the colour is sheer therefore the precise application of a pencil isnt necessary its more of a novelty. It is very moisturising, doesnt feel sticky, gives a very nice hint of colour and will definately help chapped lips. I am a lip balm junkie and can honestly say a drugstore lip balm will achieve the same result as this. Also there is very little product in the tube, it doesnt last long at all. If your looking for a lip balm that will also add colour then go for this if you just want something for chapped lips than stick with Vaseline, Carmex or Lanolips from Boots.

Brows -E.L.F. - Eyebrow Kit
becky9106 8/15/2011 11:58:00 AM
My go to product every morning for my eyebrows. I use the gel/wax side first to shape the eyebrow and as a sort of base for the powder which i use in light, short strokes just to fill in any gaps and create a better shape. The finished look is very natural there is nothing worse than block filled over done eyebrows! I have had lots of positive comments since using this and will be re-purchasing very soon as im almost out!

Lipstick -E.L.F. - Studio Matte Lip Color
becky9106 8/15/2011 11:51:00 AM
I could not wait to get my hands on these beauties. I got natual, coral and tea rose. Firstly Tea Rose is damn awful on my fair skin and pigmented lips. It is a purple/mauve/blue colour and makes me look ill so i wont be using that one. However the other 2 are beautiful colours, very pigmented, glide on smoothly and are most definately matte. I would recommend a lip balm underneath because although it doesnt make your lips feel dry they can sometimes look dry and chapped as it tends to set into lines. They last a very long time even after eating and drinking. Worth every penny!

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Corrector
becky9106 8/15/2011 11:32:00 AM
I just dont know if i like this product or not. It is by far the best corrector for covering dark circles but after half hour it has set into fine lines, seperated and generally looks too cakey under my eye. Its very creamy and definately needs to be set with a powder as it will look wet and shiny. I have tried loads of different setting powders on top of this but it still disappears shortly after applying. It doesnt sink in or dry like other concealers do it just sits on top of my skin which i hate. I so badly want this to work for me because for half hour my eyes look great but the cons out weigh that!

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primer- Smashing Color Adjust
becky9106 8/15/2011 11:23:00 AM
This product doesnt do much in the way of colour correcting for me i have red cheeks so the MUA at Smashbox recommended this for me. Its a lovely primer goes on smoothly dries to a velvety finish and does extend the wear of my makeup, its just a shame it doesnt do what it says. Saying that i would repurchase because it is an excellent base for makeup!

Cleansers -Dermalogica - Dermal Clay Facial Cleanser
becky9106 8/15/2011 10:55:00 AM
So disappointed that this didnt work for me after reading all the good reviews. I bought the big bottle so it wasnt cheap however i wont be buying again. I have very oily skin and was expecting this to help in some way but if anything it made it worse, since i stopped using this my skin has calmed down back to normal. Mine had a strong nasty smell to it which put me off using it. It didnt foam or scrub or feel like it was getting rid of anything. I must admit my skin did feel matte and dry straight after but it didnt last 10 minutes. Not worth the money at all a drugstore cleanser will do much better than this!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous Million Lashes
becky9106 8/15/2011 10:19:00 AM
I have been using this mascara for at least 6 months and will buy it over and over again. Its the best ive tried and im so pleased with this one i just dont bother looking for better. No clogging or clumps, seperates every lash, lengthens and curls, dries quickly i dont get any smudges and it doesnt flake or leave those unwanted black dots all down my cheeks! Great value for money.
