Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Deep Cleansing Cream with Soap Bark and Chamomile

Okay, so this doesn't really clean your skin. I have a black head prone nose and this hasn't done anything for it. BUT- it has made my skin look more soft and young and has gotten rid of some of my scars from acne. I found that it also really helps prevent zits from getting bigger and nastier. It doesn't really prevent breakouts totally from happening, but there have been less and they are not as bad as they used to be. I gave this a 4 because it really helps my skin look wonderful and is natural, but doesn't really clean a whole lot. I realize that some of you are looking for a miracle solution for your acne and this is not it. It's more just for more natural looking skin without the makeup.

Mascara -Revlon - Beyond Natural Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

I decided to try this mascara after I was given a tube of regular Revlon mascara (I'm not sure what type...it was a little old). I really liked the brush that had some taller bristles and then some shorter bristles. When I saw the "Natural" part of the name I decided that, though it was about two dollars more than what I had previously had, that it would probably work better. I was shocked when I opened the tube, how runny the product was and was skeptical about whether or not it would actually stay on my lashes. It did! I haven't ever had problems with mascara running or smudging under my eyes. The only problem that I have with this mascara is that the brush is plastic and does hurt if you hit your eye. However, this can be avoided by using carefully. I do like how the brush is more of a comb, but it does tend to clump a little bit if you "over comb" a certain section of your eye lashes and is very difficult to break up. I am going to buy this again though because it works great for the price and why venture out and waste money on something that might not work anyway?
