This stuff is great -- non drying vegan spray gel with no alcohol and just enough hold to smooth frizz on air dried hair. Great product with great ingredients!

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Headkandy Hair Extensions

I already own Euronext extensions from Sallys but wanted to get the famous QUAD weft from Headkandy. Ordered them over a week ago and they are still not here, but they are coming from England and the company did ship them same day I ordered. To make a long story short, I just couldn't wait any longer and checked Ebay for Headkandys and yep-- got lucky a girl had a set of two quad wefts (80g total) for just $40!! So now I can tell you that the quality is GREAT. I had to dye mine from light blonde to dark brown with medium brown highlights and they came out shiny, bouncy and gorgeous even after the coloring and heat styling. The lenght is on the shorter side of what they quote you. Mine were the 16-18 inch and in reality were much closer to 16 but nice and thick to the very ends. Glossier then Euronext and hold a curl much better. These are so glossy in fact that they blend in less then the other ones because my own hair on top is more dull -- so something to think about... If these are a 10, the Euronext ones are at least a solid 9 in quality. One quad weft will make your hair much thicker if it's very close in length to your own hair, two quads give me a full set effect because my hair is pretty long If you don't mind waiting go for the Headkandys -- but if you need hair NOW, just pick up some Euronexts at Sallys. They actually run pretty long -- if it says 18in they will be 18, just a tad more wispy at the bottom but still good.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - His & Her Hair Extensions

These were my first clip on extensions ever. I got the european mink kind for I think $80 or $90 for 18 inch hair a couple of years back. I don't think this is Remy or cuticle hair. Do yourself a favor and go to Sally's for Euronext extensions that are same length and definitely Remy. You can modify Euronexts to be all one piece like these and the result will be 10 times better for the same price.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Euronext Clip-in Hair Extensions

I've had clip on extensions before from His and Hers Hair goods in LA (they were european mink which is same as remy) and those were 3 wefts in one piece and I just didn't love them for some reason. Yesterday I got the 18 inch Remy clip ons from Euronext at Sallys and after some customizing (I took some clips off and sewed them on to a longer quad track with only 5 clips for the entire head) and a trim, they turned out GORGEOUS! I think I am using only about 100 grams of these for my fine long hair and it adds at least 2 inches and a lot of volume -- VERY HAPPY with these :) P.S. Just got my Headkandy extensions from England (this is a premier and more expensive brand and Euronext still holds up next to these) The big difference is Headkandys hold styling better and have more of a shiny coating on them.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - # 239 Eye Shader Brush
rated 5 of 5

First I was too cheap to buy this brush and got the supposed dupe Maxine Mop by Loewell Cornell. I finally broke down and bought two 329s for light and dark shadows and the difference is HUGE! Makes eye shadows look so much smoother and opaque then other brushes.

Pros : Erases pores. Evens out skin. Pretty finish. Can be used with damp sponge for more coverage Not super expensive. Cons: Potentially comedogenic (but that ingredient is only 9th) so hopefully won't happen. No Spf not a generous amount

Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Medium
rated 5 of 5
bebemonte 12/2/2010 1:55:00 PM

I just got this last night because of all the great reviews and I must say so far so good. I used this with a damp sponge for lite/medium coverage and it came out very natural. I can't remember anything else making my pores dissapear so well... maybe MAC Blot over Merle Norman... Now, there is one suspicious ingredient in this that can cause acne but it's probably about the 6th or 7th on the list, so hopefully no breakout surprises with this. Medium fits my NC25 oily, acne-prone skin very well.

Powder -mark - Powder Buff powder foundation
rated 4 of 5
bebemonte 11/30/2010 7:37:00 PM

I've been really into powder foundations lately because I always get shiny a couple of hours after I first put on my makeup and I read a lot of good things about mark powder buff. Well, it's not bad at all and very similar to NYX Twin Cake in quality and coverage (and also in that neither one keeps me matte) This is not as good or luxurious as my favorite Merle Norman Luxiva powder foundation, but better oil control-wise then Shiseido Sun Protection powder compact. The coverage is medium and the color BUFF is pretty good for NC27 Good, not great.

Crème -TheBalm - Time Balm Foundation
rated 5 of 5
bebemonte 11/30/2010 7:05:00 PM

Ooooh when applied properly, this creme foundation is quite LOVELY. I got it because of the reviews on MUA and as always glad I did. I first applied it with a foundation brush and the coverage was too full for me -- not natural. So I tried again with a damp stippling brush and now I love it! I'm an NC25-27 and got this in Light Medium and it's a bit light for me but still very nice. Pretty satin finish with the stippling method. Another plus is the amount of product -- pretty generous for $28. Like it a lot. Better then my Bobbi Brown Even Finish compact because it's more matte. Edit: Tried it again today with even less product and a stippling brush and it's even better. I tiny tiny amount can give you medium coverage. At that rate this should last for years! Still the best of it's kind I've tried.

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation
rated 3 of 5
bebemonte 11/28/2010 12:07:00 AM

I was really curious about the foundation because of the great reviews on Youtube etc. and I got the Sheer Glow and Sheer Matte samples in Punjab and Fiji which both are a good match to my NC25 skin. However, I hated Sheer Matte immediately because of how poorly it goes on. Sheer Glow took a couple of hours of wear for me to hate. Although it spreads nicely and the color is great, it feels really silliconey -- reminded me a lot of L'oreal True Match. As the day went on the foundation starting reall sttling into my lines and accentuating any dryness as well as becoming shiny at the same time. Even though I'm quite oily, my face was very dehydrated after 7 hours of wear just like with True Match. Will not be purchasing.

Powder -NYX - Twin Cake
rated 4 of 5
bebemonte 11/25/2010 1:49:00 AM

I've recently been really into powder foundations because I'm really oily and wanted an alternative to some great liquid foundations that do work well (E.L Double Wear and Double Matte, and MAC Pro Longwear) I am also very acne-prone and all the above are great and non comedogenic. So, I got NYX Twin Cake, Merle Norman Luxiva powder foundation, Mark Powder Buff, Shiseido sun Protection compact and N.Y.C matte powder foundation) My favorite is Merle Norman because of the superior oil control. NYX is not bad at all and a close second. The color I got (Soft Beige) is very yellow which I love but a bit dark for my NC25 skin. I think a shade lighter would be better for me... Now, I did get one zit today (which doesn't happen much any more because I use Tazorac and Benzoil Peroxide and it may be from this particular foundation but I can't say for sure because I've been trying a bunch lately. The ingredients seem acne safe though according to acnedetective.com Not bad at all....

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Matte
rated 5 of 5
bebemonte 11/24/2010 11:44:00 PM

EL Double Matte along with MAC Pro Longwear are my go to foundations for perfect flawless skin look on special occasions. I am very oily but double Matte keeps me pretty close to matte, maybe satin-y for hours and hours with no need for touch-ups. As others have mentioned, the color range is not the best aspecially for yellow-toned complexions. Where MAC does it right by me with NC25, Estee Lauder is too pink. I have this is Warm Tawny and the color is just okay. Great finish though. Double Wear by EL is also quite amazing with similar color issues.

Foundations -Shiseido - Sun Block Compact SPF 32
rated 3 of 5
bebemonte 11/24/2010 11:31:00 PM

SP40 is a good match for NC25 and the powder foundation looks good when first applied but on me there is NO OIL CONTROL whatsoever. I look shiny within 20 minutes and that's not what I expected from powder foundation so I will be returning this to Nordies. For me, Merle Norman Luxiva powder foundation works 1 times better, and even NYX Twin Cake has better oil control. Still waiting to receive my Mark Powder Buff in the mail for comparison but other then the awesome SPF, this did not cut if for me. By they way, I put the NYX twin cake in the Shiseido case and it fits perfectly so at least the case is a keeper.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Liberty of London_ Perennial High Style
rated 5 of 5
bebemonte 11/24/2010 12:14:00 AM

This is the most beautiful lipgloss in my very very vast lipgloss collection. I paid something like $28 for it on Ebay since I missed it when it came out with the Liberty of London collection.
