I had a love hate with this foundation before. I had heard so many good reviews and also from a few friends that this was such a good product. the only thing that held me back was the price. it's $55 canadian + 12% tax ugh really? but after sephora had the 20% off sale off any product I thot well hey, it's once in a lifetime. i loved how the foundation looked. I read many reviews that it should be applied with either a wet sponge or your fingers for a great finish and I wasn't disappointed. but after a few hours on it looked very cakey! I was almost going to just return this product but i thought hey maybe I got a shade too dark. I had gotten hazelnut beige because the rep said it was a perfect match and although it did look just a tad but darker than my skin tone, I stuck with it. so I decided to exchange the color instead to cashew beige and for some reason it doesn't look cakey anymore! I think with this foundation, try to stay as close to your natural skin tone as possible, even go just a bit lighter and you'll do just fine. formula is great it's so smooth but a bit drying. however since I came from revlon colorstay I would say this is 80% more blendable! the packaging does look smaller but you actually get 35ml which is more than the usual foundation, mac

Lip Treatments -MAC - Tinted Lip Conditioner - Petting Pink

I was so excited when I got this because I really wanted something that compared to my fresh sugar lip treatment but this was so disappointing! firstly it's so expensive, second my lips were dry within an hour and third it gives no color tiny at all! not worth my money I'd have better luck with a drugstore brand. so glad I returned it

Lipstick -Rimmel - Moisture Renew - Nude Delight

I absolutely love this lip color! the packaging is so cute and very feminine. it's the right nude for my lips and doesn't make me appear dead , but my only problem is the smell and taste. at first I didn't mind the smell I actually thought I smelled pretty nice. but the more I wore it the more I became bothered. it smelled very much like hand soap and it tastes like hand soap or light chemicals. after kissing me one time my boyfriend actually gagged because the taste was so horrible. but since the color is so great I still wear it occasionally but not as often as I'd like to =(

Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack
rated 5 of 5
bebedollfaxe 11/4/2011 10:34:00 AM

I love this gel liner! I've tried everything to get my lower lash line smudge proof for years and for some reason the thought of extra work using a brush then dipping it in the gel was too much for me. I've been missing out! the product is very reasonably price since this lasts forever. it doesn't dry up (I put all the credit in the manufacturers for the packaging and also the product itself!) I use this for my lower lash line only and although it hasn't been tested for the water line I sometimes get some in there and I haven't had a reaction. but this stays on my water line too! no smudging no creasing and no black eye boogers! thanks mac!

Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15

if you have money to spare or have really dry flakey lips like mine I would definitely invest in this. the scent is amazing and smells very lemony. the texture is soft and lasts a long time. I actually sleep with this a night and when I wake up my lips are still coated in it! it keeps my lip smooth and is tasteless. the only problem is that you don't get enough product but it isn't such a bad thing. I've had mine for about 9 months now and I'm partially half way. you don't need to keep reapplying this unless you eat it off or you eat and it comes off. it really does stay and it works! I've tried everything for my lips, and I'm glad I invested in this. my boyfriend always comments on how soft my lips and he likes that it doesn't taste plastic-y like some lip balms

Bronzers -NARS - Orgasm-Laguna Blush-Bronzer Duo
rated 4 of 5
bebedollfaxe 11/4/2011 10:22:00 AM

at first I hated this product. I thought that the bronzer in laguna was too dark and orgasm was too sheer and sparkley. but the more I used it the more I liked it. it is pretty pricey though so if you have extra money to spend I'd definitely try this out. the texture of the products are not as pigmented as you would think but I'd rather have a bronzer that you can build up rather than making a mistake of powdery products that can apply too heavily. I'd say I'm more of a bronzer fan than a blush girl but orgasm is a great color. I find myself going back to it every so often and it look great everytime.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Waterproof
rated 3 of 5

so far this is my favorite or most used mascara. it's not totally amazing but then again my eyelashes are almost non existant so I definitely won't be getting to lashes that they advertise on tv. the formula I think is pretty good. it does lengthen my lashes but doesn't thicken. the brush give a fairly well application and separates each lash so that there are no clumps, but..! the brush is so thick that applying can be a real pain. I would love to use it on my lower lashes which I do at times but since the brush is so fat it's very rare that I can do a good job without either poking my eye or getting the product on my under eyebags. it doesn't wear off which is good and doesn't flake (unlike the maybelline falsies) but I think they should make the brush thinner.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Carbon Black Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner
rated 5 of 5
bebedollfaxe 11/4/2011 10:06:00 AM

this is my absolute favorite liquid liner ever! i have one lid that sort of folds at random times and what ever eyeliner in wearing on the top lid always smudges. I've tried stilla, urban decay, revlon colorstay etc. and nothing has impressed me. they all crease to me top lid after a while (curse that folded lid!) lineur intense dries fast (so I don't have to wait for my lids to dry up *cough* stilla) and it doesn't rub off. I could be sweating under the sun and this doesn't transfers or smudges. my only pet peeve is the packaging. when you need more product, instead of just dipping the brush in you have to also shake it (sounds like a ball point pen) and its kind of inconvenient when you're in a hurry. other then that I have had no problems. the felt tip is smooth and easy to make thin lines and dries fast. what more can you want?

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
rated 4 of 5

this is my everyday foundation. I love how it has so many shades that I can choose from! I usually tan in the summer so I'm a w6 but in winter I get so light that I use w3. this blends so wonderfully on my skin and gives me a flawless semi dewy finish and is definitely a buildable coverage. my only problem with this that it it rubs off. if you touch your face the product will transfer to your fingers, shirt, etc. I usually don't have a problem because I don't touch my face at all (it's a bad habits everyone!) but if I do accidentally rub on it or if my boyfriend decides to touch my face the foundation slides off. I still like it though. if I get a blemish or to hide my acne scars I pack this on and it's still a very light weight feel on my skin (unlike revlon colorstay which feels heavy no matter how light you apply it)

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup
rated 4 of 5
bebedollfaxe 11/4/2011 9:51:00 AM

at first I really liked this foundation. i had the combination to oily skin in natural tan and was loving it because it really did reduce the oil in my face and kept me matte. in the beginning I thought that applying was a little difficult because this foundation dries incredibly fast and so you can dot the product all over your face then work it in. you have to work from one area to the other and blend fast! coverage is excellent. there is really no need for concealer when I use this product because of the heavy coverage but since it is so heavy after a while this does start to look cakey. and after you set it with a powder there is no way can you retouch it, unless you want to take the whole foundation off (which is also a pain in the butt because you need a good make up remover). one this has dried and you want to retouch it throughout the day it will give you dark blotches on your face. it's terrible. plus after a good 3 months of using this it clogged up my pores terribly! I never had acne before this and now I'm left with scads that I wish I could cover up by using this (but I'm being smart and switched back to l'oreal true match). though not everyone breaks out from this but I think if you are acne prone or have clogged pores to begin with, I would stay away. the reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the coverage is excellent when applied properly and the price isn't bad at all. i still use this about once a week and I find that it works better and hasn't broken me out. I think constant use of this will probably have an impact on your skin though. I wish someone told me that before I started using this as my everyday foundation. now I'm left with scars on my face from the breakouts I had

Concealers -Kat Von D - Tattoo Concealer
rated 4 of 5
bebedollfaxe 11/4/2011 9:40:00 AM

I was a little skeptical at first when I bought this product because it claims to 'hide or conceal' tattoos. although I do have some myself, I wanted this to mainly cover up a few scars and the occasional blemish or two. I got it in the color tan which matched perfectly when I used revlon colorstay in natural tan. I was really impressed with this. it covers very well and lasts all day. not to mention that I have a small but noticeable (usually to me only) birthmark under my eye and this covers it right up with just a light application! this lasts a pretty long time and I never have to retouch at all. it might cake up under your eyes though it really depends on how heavy you put it. the price is pretty expensive but I say that it's worth it! I've had this or about 10 months or so and I'm not even half way through the tube! I think that it's worth it. I usually tab in the summer but am really light in the winter so I'm thinking of purchasing a lighter color for this season.
