Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

Ok so I have been trying out what seems like every foundation on the market trying to narrow it down to my HG. Well I can say I didn't find it in this. Not because it's not a beautiful foundation, because it is at first. My problem with it is the staying power! Even after primer, powder ( hd) and UD deslick setting spray, I am really shiny after just a couple of hours with this. Which is such a bummer because when you first put it on, it looks so airbrushed and natural... but I have oily/ combo skin and it just doesn't work for me :(. I like Mat Velvet plus a lot better! I may have to except that I may not find a HG.I'm trying Kat Von D next... PROS: Beautiful, natural finish, nice shade selection ( I'm 118), No smell that I can detect, goes on great with any method of application ( although I find clean fingers are the best), would be great for someone that has normal to dry skin!! Great packaging( has a pump yay!) Medium buildable coverage. Looks great in pictures!! CONS: Pricey, no staying power on combo/ oily skin and that's about all I can say for the cons. It was just not the right formula for my skin type. For some added color selection help ( I know I always like to see when people list what shade they are in other foundations) : Mat velvet: 30 Revlon color stay: sand beige UD naked skin: 3.5 Color stay whipped: natural beige Sheseido sun protection: sp40 MAC: NW20-25 Tarte amazonian clay: light/ med HOPE THIS HELPS!!!! :)
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Revitalift Miracle Blur

One word: WOW! I ... THIS STUFF IS AMAZING & REALLY WORKS!! I was skeptical as I am of all new products I try (especially ones claiming miracles lol) but let me tell you I am shocked at how well this blurs pores, & fine lines. Can be worn under makeup or over. I've tried everything for minimizing pores.. benefit porefessional, clinique, too faced & more and this one is by far the best in my opinion! At the $20.00 price point it is a little pricey for drugstore, but totally worth it when you look at the other "higher end" prices and this does a better job!! I am so happy I found this! It makes any makeup ( liquid, powder) look so air brushed & flawless :) 2 thumbs way up for my review of this product
I LOVE THIS beauty balm, and that's exactly what it is... not a foundation that is going to cover everything. It evens out my skin tone and leaves a nice natural matte finish. I just use a concealer where I need extra coverage and voila, I'm ready for the day. Now for a special occasion, or on a bad skin day I would use a foundation with good coverage, such as the Kat Von D lock it. I don't think this product deserves so many neg reviews, if you want coverage ...(that is not what this claims.). as with most bb creams. But for everyday natural put together face, this is my new go to! i really recommend getting a sample if possible, and try for yourself. I was skeptical at first because I haven't liked a single bb cream I have tried on my oily skin, but this last all day and really transforms my skin. I really can't say enough good things. The only con I can think of is it only comes in one color, but it manages to adjust exactly with my NW25 ish skin tone. I can see where it would be frustrating for super pale, or women of color, but it supposed to be very forgiving, so I say TRY IT!!

I was on the fence with this.. bought it in "natural beige" and it seemed to oxidize on me so I returned that one for "nude beige" which was better but I still feel like the color match is not perfect with this, I love the formula, reminds me of MUFE Mat Velvet Plus at a fraction of the cost, but the shades are really not forgiving. Between the two shades I tried( that were as close as I was going to get) are still a little too pink for my skin tone. I gave it four lippies because of the formula, price, and finish.. I just wish the colors were better! That's where the high end foundations get you, you are more likely to find your match the first time...

SOO Glad I just a a sample of this foundation from Sephora, because I have to say in my opinion it is NOT worth the money and I will NOT be spending mine on it. The reasons I say this is because 1. It was sheer coverage( reminded me of" Maybelline Fit Me" that is 6 bucks, 2. It is Not good for oily/ combo skin, literally after a couple hours I was a oil slick even in January (wth?) 3. It is WAY too expensive for what it is... seriously the drugstore foundations are impressing me more & more these days over " high end". I am usually not one to write negative reviews, but I got a sample of this and wanted to warn others before they spend this much on a foundation that I think is no better than a drug store one you can get on bogo! I like trying out new products ad when I feel that it's worthy I give credit where credit is due, however this is so over priced in my opinion... wouldn't give 10 bucks for it.. so ladies save your cash and look to the drug store.. Revlon nearly naked & Covergirl outlast have been giving the High end brands a run for theirr money because I think they are just as good if not better :)
I agree with previous reviews that you need to use a light hand with this, but with all darker blushes I've found this to be the case. With that said I could not be happier with this product. I have one other blush from "NYX" in mocha and love that one as well, but I have to say this is perfect for winter.. gives that "been in the cold" natural healthy flushed look. I have been looking for a red blush, was contemplating Nars (exhibit A) butr didn't want to shell out the money, so when I found this at the fraction of the cost I was thrilled! I'm not gonna lie I was nervous to put it on , thought I'd look like a clown lol! So pleased that the result was so beautiful! For reference.. I have light/medium skin tone. I think all skin tones could use this, but of course the paler you are the lighter you want to apply it! Hope this helps :)
This foundation is better than some "high end" foundations I've tried. I have combo/oily skin and it is the only one I've tried that holds up all day without looking like a grease ball by the end of the day. It looks natural and the shade selection is great!! For reference: I was matched to MUFE Mat velvet + in 30. MAC NW25 and UD naked skin in 3.5 and sand beige is the best fit for me right now going into winter. The only cons I can think of is the smell.. (it does kinda have a paint like smell but goes away after it dries) and it does't have a pump, but minor for the results you get. Conclusion: I now know why so many girls rave about this product!! For the price, availability, and awesome staying power it is a must have staple in my makeup bag!! If you are oily, go for the combo/oily one, it covers like a dream and really does stay shine free for hours!! Sold :)

WOW! I'm shocked at well this stuff works for what is actually meant for!! Who know? And I have been spending tons of $$ on primers that really didn't do anything for me? Like most people I was skeptical, but it was 105 degrees here today and with this stuff under my foundation I never even had so much as a shiny spot!! Now that's the ultimate test! I watched a few you-tubers and was a little nervous to try it, but am I ever glad I did because it really does work!! I paid like 4 bucks for it at that!! Give it a try if you have oily skin you will not regret it!!
I know there are a TON of reviews on this & I normally don't write reviews but had to on this one....Since I have been using this my skin has never looked or felt better!! Highly recommend!! HG for sure... and for the price you just can't go wrong ... also a nice way to unwind after a long day, such a treat for your skin plus makes your makeup look a lot better since it thoroughly cleans pores and reduces their size!! Yes please!!
Shampoo -SAMY - Zero Calories Fat Hair Thickening Shampoo

I used this Shampoo/Conditioner for the first time today and I really like the way my hair looks after. I was hesitant to try it because of the bad reviews but I got it on sale so I figured what the heck. I have just below shoulder length hair with layers and I was hoping to get some more body. Some of the other products I've been using lately have weighed my hair down and you can't even tell I have layers anymore. I blow dryed and flat ironed after using this and I was using impressed with the volume I got after one use, plus it left my hair soft and shiny. I don't notice a filmy residue as some have mentioned, however I do have a couple complaints: First, the smell could be a lot better for sure! It's not repulsive or anything to me but just not great! And second, it didn't lather up that good which isn't a huge deal since the results after styling were good. Overall, I would recommend giving this product a try I definitely think it depends on your hair if you will like it. Everybody is different, I like it after the first use, let's see if I continue to feel that way.
