Cleansers -Amore Pacific - Iope Moisture Skin Cleanser

Although this cleanser is pricey, I think it's totally worth it for your skin. I have sensitive skin that can react with redness if the product isn't right and this product is so gentle, my skin absolutely loves it. It's very creamy and luxurious, but it also does a really good job in cleaning. My skin feels so soft and clean after using it. I didn't get that tight or dry feeling after using it like I would with some cleanser. I normally don't like products w/ fragrance so that's why I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5. The smell doesn't bother me, but I would much prefer it if it's lighter or there's no fragrance at all. There are tiny microbeads in it which I don't feel that it really helps get rid of dead skin, but the fact that this cleanser is so gentle and effective, I highly recommend it to others. This is by far my favorite skincare product from their line.
Despite the few excellent reviews on this product here on makeupalley, I have different opinions about this moisturizer. I got a generous sample to try from Sephora and my initial reaction to this product is that it is full of silicones! Yes it makes my face super smooth and soft, but it's because of the silicones in the cream. My face did not react from it even though I have sensitive skin so that's why I gave it 3 stars instead of 2. Now I have not used this product long enough to determine if it really lifts and firms. I primarily tried this product because I'm looking for an anti-aging cream for preventative purpose. That being said, I don't think this cream is worth the $94+ because you can find other creams of similar texture and quality for less. I have combination skin and although it provided moisture for my dry cheeks and soften some of the dry patches on my chin, it made my nose a bit oily. I don't plan on buying this product. I prefer something w/ more natural ingredients with a lower price tag.
Smells light, floral, and pleasant. Nothing too special about this fragrance. I guess if you want something simple and floral, this is your go to perfume. I have higher expectations with perfume because I own so many floral scented fragrances, that this just doesn't stand out from the crowd. In fact, it reminds me of Pantene Pro V shampoos. Not that it stinks, just that I don't want to walk around smelling like shampoo the whole day. Staying power is so-so, will not last the whole day.
I bought the eau de toilette which smells completely different from the eau de parfum. The eau de parfum smells disgusting to me. This one smells a lot more floral and light compared to the eau de parfum. It's a pleasant smell at first, but it later turns into a powdery scent. I didn't like it because it reminds me of baby powder. Think I'm too old to smell like that now. Lasting power is bad too. After 5 hours or so, it's gone.
Smelled good in the magazine, but when I tried a sample, this scent gave me a headache. The vanilla scent is way too strong. This is not a light, fresh scent. It's more dark for everyday use. I actually feel old putting this on. I will not purchase this at all.
This is very feminine and floral. The fresh scent is perfect for Spring/Summer. It's a pretty scent, but it's nothing special. Maybe it's because I own a lot of floral fragrances, this scent doesn't really stand out from other floral fragrances. It also doesn't last very long on me. After about 4-5 hours, the smell is gone. I guess my body chemistry doesn't really mix well w/ it. The scent got very boring after a while, so I will not purchase it.
The only positive thing about this is that it does last pretty long on me. As far as the scent, I dislike it. It leans more towards to citrus side which is great for Spring/Summer seasons. However, this scent later gave me a headache. The lemon scent I smell is too strong. Also, I don't know why, but I feel that this is a scent that can be found in men's cologne...doesn't seem too feminine to me. Try a sample before you purchase.
Fragrances -Christian Dior - Miss Dior Cherie L'eau

I was curious about this perfume because of the cute packaging and the good reviews on here. This definitely smells better than the original Dior Miss Cherie (I hated that one). It's lighter and more wearable on a day to day basis. However, I'm not in love with it. Yes, it is a unique scent, but it reminds me of the detergent I use to wash my clothes. So although I'm not rushing to wash this scent off, it doesn't really convince me to go out there to buy a full bottle. I highly recommend trying a sample before purchasing it.
Really love this scent. Perfect for Spring and Summer. It's a breath of freshness, but it's not over powering. It can be combined w/ other Jo Malone colognes to give it that bit of floral, yet fruity scent. I would've given it 5 lippies if this cologne lasted longer on me. I noticed that after 5-6 hours, I can barely smell it on me. That being said, I don't think this cologne will last me the whole day. I would expect it to last longer since it's so expensive. I don't mind having this is my perfume collection 'cause I just love it so much!
I was excited to try something different from the really floral scents I usually wear. This scent seems to be more mature and seductive. It smelled good when I sniffed it in store. However, after trying a sample, I realize that it did not mix w/ my body chemistry. The rose scent was too strong and it started to give me a headache. The scent was way too sweet for my taste. I was so desperate to wash it off. Definitely will not purchase this.
Fragrances -Jo Malone - Nectarine Blossom and Honey

I was never really into fruity scents, but I wanted to try something new. It smells pleasant and I asked for a sample to try it on me. This didn't mix well with my body chemical because shortly after I sprayed it on me, it started to smell like something you'd find at Bath & Body Works. It didn't smell elegant or expensive. There was nothing special about it. I will not purchase this.
I actually don't know what wild bluebell smells like, but my first impression of this scent is that it's very light and fresh (I sprayed it on paper). However, when I received a sample and sprayed it on myself, it just didn't smell the same. I don't think it mixes well w/ my body chemical. It started to smell kind of boring. There was nothing special about it. In fact, as hours passed, it smells like some cheap drugstore body spray on me and I just had the urge to wash it off. It's not a terrible scent, but it just didn't stand out enough for me to go out to purchase a whole bottle.
This is just way too sharp; smells nothing like grapefruit. I got a sample instead and I'm glad because I would not have purchase this. The scent does tone down a bit when layered w/ other Jo Malone scents, but it's still too strong. This smells like something a guy would spray because my first impression is that it smells masculine, not feminine at all. However, if this was sprayed on a guy and he's around me, I would think he's over doing it.
This is a pretty color, but for some reason when I applied it to my cheeks, it turned out to be more rosy than it looks. I tried to apply a little bit of it, but I still end up looking kinda like a clown. The color wasn't very soft on my cheeks. I prefer Dainty over this color. The packaging was excellent though. I guess it just didn't work out w/ my skin tone.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

I was super excited to use this cleanser since it received so much good reviews. I agree that it takes everything off and I felt really clean afterwards, but it is a bit drying. If you have normal skin or oily skin, this would be a great cleanser. However, the winter season made my cheeks really flaky and the cleanser makes flaky skin or dry patches even more dry and flaky. I tried it for a few more days and it made it only more dry. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to make this work, but unfortunately I had to return this to Sephora because it's not doing any good for my dry, flaky cheeks.
