Lipstick -Clinique - High Impact Lip Colour SPF 15

I will confess, I am not much of a lipstick wearer. I don't like to wear color on my lips and only do it because with a full face of makeup, I would look silly without some extra color on my mouth. That being side, I adore this lipstick formula! It is long wearing (longer than the Clinique long last lipstick I feel) and really hydrating. The color is rich and deep and needs little touching up. My favorite color in this line is Extreme Pink which I wear during the summer months. I <3 this lipstick!
I love mascara, and I have tried many, many mascaras. However, I always find myself returning to Clinique's High Impact Mascara. I feel like it gives the best in length and volume of any mascara I have worn. I usually pair it with Lancome's Cils Booster primer and boom! perfect lashes. I have clients ask me all the time if I am wearing false eyelashes! I also recommand this because Clinique performs allgery testing (which is more than hypoallgeric testing) and I have never had this mascara irritate my eyes at all. Hands down, this is my favorite mascara!
Treatments -Clinique - Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector

I love all the reviews of this product where people boast about how they refused to use the serum as directed and than spew their compliants about how it didn't work. My response to that is--well duh! Let me first say that I use this exactly as directed and I have had wonderful results with it. I am extremely fair and my pigmention happens easily and fast. With the 5 months I have been using this miracle serum, the appearance and depth of color has slowed to a crawl. I have no new pigemention and the other spots has lightened as well. I had tried the Estee Lauder Idealist skin lightener and it didn't do anything at all. It felt like glittery water on my skin and even broke me out! I tried the Even Better serum with few hopes. In 1 week my skin was softer, smoother and the next week I started getting comments about how lovely my skin was!! I have stayed with it even since. I normally use two pumps all over my face and neck morning and night. The price is more than I would like but the results to me are totally worth it! Give it a try but follow the Clinique girl's instructions. You have to wear spf in the daytime and you have to use it night and day over the entire face! Also, it causes great exfoliation for the skin and so you want to use a scrub once or twice a week to help remove all the dead cells this serum helps to lift off the skin. This is a huge winner for me!
Cleansers -Lancome - Huile Douceur Remove All Deep Cleansing Oil
beautyfirst1984 9/17/2012 9:13:00 AM
First let me start off by saying that I have oily skin with very minor acne concerns. I think I should say that first so you have a better frame of reference when considering this product for your beauty regime. That being said, I love this cleanser. I stumbled across it while I was doing theatre and needed a cleanser that could remove the thick and heavy stage makeup. THis melted it away perfectly without leaving an oily feel afterward or breaking me out. It has a very light fragance that goes away almost as quickly as you rinse it off. It takes off eye makeup and mascara even the water proof kind, and leaves the skin clean and fresh. That being said, I always follow it with my Clinique skincare 3 step afterward so you might want to use a facial cleanser afterward as well if you are more acne prone. I think the value for money is great as well. Since it saves me from having to buy an eye makeup remover and a facial makeup remover, I feel that I am saving more money. Besides 2 pumps of this takes off even Estee Lauder Double wear foundation which is the hardest to get off the skin (in my opinion) I rate and recommand this highly!
While all of my favorite mascaras are Clinique, I adore this Primer from Estee Lauder. I find the formula is smooth and glossy without making my lashes break of become brittle. I use this in layers with my High Impact and High Impact Extreme mascara from Clinique. I feel that the brush that it comes with also dispenses the product evenly (a problem I had with the Clinique primer). I will go back to this again and again.
I bought this powder on a whim and I am thrilled I did! I bought Neutral Fair (a shade darker than I am supposed to wear) for a little more color. I use a buffing brush to get more coverage and it is certainly more coverage than the marketed sheer coverage. I never receive as many complements as when I wear this powder as a foundation. I also love the 15 spf in this makeup. I feel like you can never have enough spf on! The only thing I wish they did was provide a brush with this as I felt the sponge was more than uselss with this product. I will repurchase soon as I have hit the pan.
My Clinique counter just got this in last week and I jumped to take it home. I have it in Extreme Black and I use it in layers with my Estee Lauder Lash Primer. I can't tell you how many times I have been asked if I am wearing false eyelashes when I use this product. Clinique has created another winner for my makeup bag!
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher
beautyfirst1984 4/16/2012 10:12:00 AM
From the reviews I have seen about this product, I might be one of the few who use it for the refinishing quality and not the pore minimizing. I have very rapid cell turn over and often dead cells collect on my cheeks on either side of my nose and brow. Using this serum between deep exxfoliation seems to keep the worst of it at bay and also keeps blackheads from forming. I use is generously morning and evening. The fragrance is lovely and light and the texture is amazing. I also feel that the serum keeps my makeup from sliding off or from sinking into my pores. Even though it is a bit expensive, I am willing to pay the price for the results that I see in the mirror. I have never had a clogged pore from this and I really massage the product into my skin (it's such a treat to the skin). I also love all the healthy contents that are packed into this lovely little serum. Try a sample and I think you will not be disappointed.
Cleansers -Estee Lauder - Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser
beautyfirst1984 4/16/2012 10:05:00 AM
After adding Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair to my skin care routine, I started thinking back to when I only used Estee Lauder. I found some picutres of my honeymoon (Estee Lauder skin care only) and realized that my skin was flawless without any makeup on. So I have slowly switched most of my products back to that line beginning with this cleanser. I love the light scent and the creamy texture, I love how much it foams up as well. I dampen my face and spread a large pea size amount on my skin and cleanse with my Olay Pro-X brush. Absolute perfection! I know people think it is too stripping but I found that it did a better job of keeping my blemishs at bay than a more gentle cleanser. Right now I follow with my Clinique level 3 toner and my serums and moisturizer and I love it. I don't think I will be switching any time soon. Also, the tube lasts a very long time so the value for money is certianly there. One thing I will say is that if you don't have oily skin (and I mean oily oily) this might feel too stripping for you. I think more normal skin types might find the Clinique Mild soap to be better or Estee Lauder's Soft Clean cleanser instead. Happy Cleansing!
Moisturizers -Clinique - Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer
beautyfirst1984 2/27/2012 10:31:00 AM
I love this night cream! I have it in the oily/combination version and I love it. I layer this on top of my DDMG and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and in the morning my skin is perfection! I have to keep myself from touching my face after applying it because it leaves me skin so soft and supple. Although none of Cliniqueís products have added fragrance, I think this smells a little bit like oats. I love the packaging too because it wonít be hard to get it out since is all slides to the bottom of the tube anyway. I will certainly repurchase again and again. Love, love, love!
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
beautyfirst1984 2/27/2012 10:27:00 AM
First of all the only reason I didnít give this 5 lippies is because I feel that it could be more moisturizing. That being said, I do love this product. I love how it sinks right into my skin and doesnít float on top of skin being greasy. It has a great water base and feels glossy to me. I know a lot of people complained that this leaves them shiny and oily feeling and I would say that it could do that if you donít put anything on top. I always follow this with Super City Block 40 spf (also Clinique) or my makeup with an SPF. I never feel shiny once I follow the DDMG with my finishing products. I use this night and day and even follow with another moisturizer on the days I have drier skin. It layers well with everything. DDMG also lasts a very long time so the price is worth it.
I was never a big fan of toners. I had tried a few but they always seemed harsh and made my face feel tight. (Didnít realize an acne toner wasnít good for my normal skin type. I almost never broke out). Obviously, I didnít know how to pick a toner or how to use one. After being set up with Clinique skincare, I learned how important a toner is to use twice a day. I was put on Clarifying Lotion 3 and I love it. The lotion helps keep any whiteheads at bay and it leaves me skin feeling clean and fresh. It also cleared up any flaky skin I had on my cheeks and between my eyebrows (I had been plagued with flaky skin in these areas for years and years.) I donít feel a toner is drying. Remember if youíre experiencing dryness that means you need a better moisturizer not that your toner is drying you out. Dryness is only and ever caused by a lack of moisture not toner. It also cleared up any flaky skin
Cleansers -Clinique - Liquid Facial Soap - Oily skin
beautyfirst1984 2/27/2012 10:12:00 AM
I have tried a lot of facial soaps and I love this one. It is very refreshing and tingly on my skin (it contains menthol.) I feel like it cleans my skin very well and helps to control oil too. Sometimes it is hard for my oily skin to feel fresh but this satisfies that. I use it night and day and donít feel that it strips my skin. It also lasts a long time. I am just now halfway through my bottle and I bought it back at the end of December. I think it is excellent value for money. I will buy this one again because it is my favorite cleanser to date.
I love this product. I just recently repurchased this product in the limited edition (3.4 oz size.) It is worth every single penny so I donít consider it too expensive for the results I see. Over the winter my skin went crazy and I developed red patchy/bumpy skin all over my chin and cheeks. I had to pile on makeup to try and cover it. Nothing seemed to help. My skin was also super delicate to touch; it hurt to rub. Now I work at a Clinique counter right across from an Estee Lauder counter and as I grew more and more desperate I started eyeing the ANR. I had used ANR before when I only used Estee Lauder skincare and I had had great results. Therefore, I bit the bullet and asked the EL consultant for a sample of ANR. She gave me two nights worth. That was all I needed to know I wanted the biggest size available. Fast forward 3 weeks. Redness is 95% gone. The bumps and acne scars are almost invisible and fading fast. My t-zone and cheek balance (the difference between oily areas and dry) are greatly reduced. Also, I am only wearing the Estee Lauder BB cream today and my skin is so clear I donít need anything else. I will repurchase again and would recommend this product to everyone!
