Styling Products -Living Proof - Full Thickening Mousse
beautyaddict96 8/8/2012 11:16:00 AM
I don't really have problematic hair. It's a little dry, no split ends, not too frizzy, down to my waist, thick. I like products that nourish my hair, and make it smooth, soft, and shiny. I needed a really good mousse, and even though my hair is already thick, I thought that this would really plump up my hair. From the first time I used this I noticed a great difference. My thick hair was more manageable. It was even shinier and much easier to style. No frizz at all. It lasts forever. And it smells so good. I absolutely adore this product. The only thing is the price. It's comparable to many drugstore mousses, and so I won't buy it again. If you afford it though, then I definitely recommend it.
I have hyperhidrosis (I sweat excessively for no reason on my hands/feet/under arms). It is so embarrassing and so many shirts have been ruined thanks to sweat stains. I have tried every antiperspirant out there with no luck. Then I tried this and again, I had no luck. I went to the dermatologist and she prescribed an oral medication to take, but it didn't work. Apparently, my only other option was Botox. I'm terrified of needles and I'm 16...I can't afford Botox. I came to terms with the fact that this is something that I was going to have to deal with for the rest of my life (the odds of growing out of this condition are very slight). All I could do was use antiperspirant and possibly change shirts 2-3 times a day. So I went to the store and I bought this again, because I hoped that maybe, since it was a bit stronger, there would be some tiny difference. READ THE DIRECTIONS! You are supposed to use 2-3 clicks under each arm AT NIGHT. I used 1 click under each arm in the morning, that's why it didn't work the first time! I use this at night, and a regular antiperspirant in the morning, and I barely sweat under my arms at all! It's not irritating and it doesn't sting. Considering how well this works, I would pay $100 a bottle. I literally cried when I found out that this worked. You have no idea how hard it is to have hyperhidrosis. It affects every aspect of my life. I don't have to worry about sweating through my shirts anymore. I CAN LIVE A NORMAL LIFE THANKS TO THIS ANTIPERSPIRANT! This has saved me! I will continue to use this forever! Thank you secret clinical strength. :)
The best shave cream IN THE WORLD! I have been using this for 2 years, and there is no other shave gel/cream that can compare. This is so moisturizing, it feels like not only have I have shaved, but it seems as if I have put on lotion too. My legs look so good. I also use this under my arms. No razor bumps, so nicks, just silky skin. It also smells so good, like vanilla. The bottle is great. So easy and handy to use. You don't need too much. With daily use, this lasts almost a month. And it's pretty cheap. First I use a sugar scrub (my own-sugar, oilve oil, and coffee) and then I shave my legs with this and the venus embrace. Then I wash up with dove deep moisture body wash, and when I come out of the shower, I put on my lotion (cerave). Nothing compares! This is such an amazing product! All girls/women should use this! I will use this as long as I shave my legs! :)
Best razors in the world. I will never use another kind of razor again. I get razor bumps very easily, even with the best shave creams. I also never got a perfect, completely hairless shave. There was always some stubble. Well not with this! I use it on my legs, arms, and under my arms, and I always get the perfect shave! I'm always tempted to tell people to feel my legs, because they feel like silk. I love the little moisturizing bar on this. I also really like how it moves along tough spots (ie arm pits/ankles). This is for everyone! People that are new to shaving or those who have shaved before and are looking for something better. It also isn't too expensive. It's worth every penny! Yes, I will definitely continue to buy this! :)
For reference, I have combination, acne prone skin. I ran out of a scrub, so my mom let me use this. I use this weekly after I come out of the sauna. First I cleanse with my biotherm pure fect cleanser, then I use this. I apply it to my skin while it is slightly damp. I then massage it into my skin gently in circular motion for about a minute. Then I leave it on for 5 minutes, and then I wash it off and continue with my skin regimen (ie toning and moisturizing). This. Is. Amazing. It doesn't make my skin any more oily, and it has helped with my breakouts. My pores look smaller. My skin looks so healthy and radiant. I've been wearing less makeup. This is fantastic. You don't need too much, and even though it's expensive, i lasts sooo long. I took a lippie off for the price, but I guess that's the price you have to pay for perfect skin. :) Yes, I'd buy this.
I don't really have problematic hair. It's a little dry, no split ends, not too frizzy, down to my waist, thick. I like products that nourish my hair, and make it smooth, soft, and shiny. I needed a mask, and after reading so many amazing reviews here on mua, sephora, and i magazines, I decided to try it. From the first time I used this I noticed a big difference. My thick hair was softer and more manageable. It also became healthier. Unfortunately, it was WAY too greasy, even for my thick hair. It weighed my hair down so much. It was so hard to get this out. My hair felt oily for days. EW. And another thing? Try l'oreal evercreme mask. Same results, no greasiness. Yes this is nice, but for the amount of downsides, it's just not worth the price, especially since it's the same as a $7 drugstore mask.
I love my ped egg! I don't have extremely calloused feet, but my heels are a little rough, and after seeing infomercials for this over and over again, I finally gave in and bought it. I've used the large emery boards for feet which made a small difference, but the results never lasted long. I was kind of scared to use this, because as others have pointed put, it looks like a cheese grater. I thought I would hurt myself. It doesn't hurt or feel strange. It feels like a smooth emery board. It works so well! It gets rids of calluses and dry skin so easily. The dry skin stays away for a while too. I use it every 2 weeks to touch up. Use this and then apply vaseline to your feet, then put on cotton socks. when you wake up the next morning your feet will be baby soft! It's not expensive at all and it lasts for a while. I've had mine for a year and it's in perfect condition. I like that you can empty it out so easily. Everyone should give this a try. If it gets too dull, then I would definitely replace it.
Eyeliner -LORAC - Front of the Line Waterproof Eyeliner
beautyaddict96 8/8/2012 8:28:00 AM
When I bought this I had never used liquid eyeliner before. I asked one of the SAs at Sephora, and she recommended this one, in black. I have tried a few other liquid liners since (lancome/mac) and this is definitely the best. It's very precise and easy to use. It's almost completely mistake proof, even for beginners. It dries pretty quickly, and it stays put all day. Granted, I don't have oily eye lids, but still. It doesn't smudge at all. The black is very intense. I find it very easy to go over it. Just wait for it to dry before thickening the line. I won't buy this again because I prefer gel eye liner (bobbi brown), but if you're looking for a great liquid liner, don't hesitate in trying this. :)
Treatments -Pantene - Fine hair style spray heat protection and shine
beautyaddict96 8/8/2012 8:18:00 AM
I was looking for a heat protectant that wouldn't weight my hair down while protecting my hair from my daily flat ironing session. I came across this, and since it was for fine hair, I figured it wouldn't make my hair flat, like many other heat protectants do. I HATE this. First off, my bottle was clearly defective. I couldn't spray anything out. I returned it for one that did work, and ew. It comes out in one thin stream, so I have so spray it into my hands and then work it into my hair. It feels disgusting in my hair and on my hands. It's so sticky and gummy. My hair looks really greasy and it takes so long to dry. I don't have a huge problem with the smell, even though it's not that pleasant. Smells like oranges, which I hate. I threw it out, and no, I won't buy this again. Ever.
I have very pale porcelain skin, NW 10/15 for reference. My dark circles are not only hereditary, but they are also due to the fact that my skin is translucent. I needed a new concealer under my eyes, and I went to Sephora. First off, they did not give me a makeup SA, they gave me a skincare SA. She was morbidly obese with facial hair and acne, might I add. I told her I needed a concealer and her response was "Oh, sorry. Sephora doesn't carry shades light enough for you." Um, WTF?! So I walked around, by myself, thank you very much, and was able to find multiple shades "light enough" for me. One of these was MUFE hd concealer. Yes, it matched my skin tone (which is apparently a huge feat) but it caked and creased so much. EW. Not natural looking at all. And I hate the brush. I'll go back to YSL touche eclat, even though it's more expensive.
Ugh. I HATE this concealer. I have pretty bad under eye circles, and at the time of buying this, I was in Sweden, and there wasn't much to chose from. Any other concealers were way too expensive, so I went with this. The SA matched me to a color that looked good in the store, but was completely off. I looked in the mirror at home and I was like OHMYGOD, I've been walking around town looking like this?! Thank god I had my sunglasses on most of the time. None of the colors were even close! And this creases and cakes so badly, no matter how you apply it. So unnatural. And it was kind of expensive, especially in Sweden. I threw it out (return policies in Sweden suck). I won't buy this again and I really don't recommend it!
I have pretty bad under eye circles, and I know that no product can get rid of dark circles, but some eye creams can make a small difference, so I thought I would give this a try, even though it was kind of expensive. The jar is cute, but very unhygienic. The cream is pretty thick, and it has no offensive smell. It didn't sting my eyes, and it was very hydrating. I continued to use this, and I even rebought it, but whatever small improvement to my under eye circles was very slight and subtle. Not worth the price at all. ($48) I won't buy this again. I rather find a cheap eye cream that hydrates and just use a concealer.
Treatments (Eye) -Amore Pacific - Time Response Eye Renewal Creme

I have pretty bad under eye circles, and I know that no product can get rid of dark circles, but some eye creams can make a small difference, so I thought I would give this a try, even though it was kind of expensive. The jar is nice. I have the gel, and it is very light with no offensive smell. It feels very smooth and velvety, and when you put it on your under eye skin it feels very comforting. However, this feeling soon subsides. There was no difference in the appearance of my dark circles. :( It didn't sting my eyes, but I've never had any problems with stinging. It was, however, very hydrating. I continued to use this not as an eye cream, but as a hydrating concealer base. I won't buy this again, because it really didn't do anything. And for the crazy price, it was a waste of money.

I bought this while at LUSH for the first time. For reference, I have combination, acne prone skin. I was having some trouble with breakouts and dull skin, and while I was at LUSH, the SA recommended this to me, saying it would be perfect for my skin. Not..At..All.. The worst thing about this mask is the way it smells. It's a really overpowering and strong blend mint and herbs. If the mask helped, I wouldn't complain, but it was useless. I bought a super tiny pot that lasted 5 times, and it was pretty expensive (even more expensive if you consider what I got). The little bits are exfoliating, but they aren't round, they're too gritty and harsh. This is not soothing, it did not make my skin look refreshed / rejuvenated / glowy. My breakouts have not been reduced at all. It just inflamed them even more. My skin felt so dry, and I have a very oily t zone. This mask burns and stings! I don't even have sensitive skin. The mint was so strong it made my eyes tear. I couldn't even open my eyes beacuse they would turn red. My face was red, irritated and dry when I took it off. I will not buy this again. It's useless.
