finally found a replacement for the twin brow pencil in charcoal gray that was discontinued... i have dark brown hair and hate how most dark brown brow pencils come out too red. Black is too harsh so the charcoal gray was perfect. I was using it for years until it recently got discontinued. The dark blonde shade is a close match to the charcoal gray... it is dark enough but not too brown. I don't have any eyebrows due to overplucking as a teen but this makes my brows look very natural... Highly recommend!
I have the dark duo and only use the darker shade. It comes on very evenly and does not look harsh. I use MAC 266 angled brush for application. I've wasted so much money finding the right brow product for my sparse eyebrows (because of overplucking). This has become HG status for me!
Tinted Moisturizer -Stila - Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

I wanted to get this TM but ended up getting the MAC TM. I wished I had bought this one instead. I had a makeover done in Saks at a Stila counter. The lady used this on me and it made my skin flawless. Not only does it give great coverage but it does not feel heavy on the face. I am a NC20 and the lady used the TM in medium on me. **update** after using this for several years, my skin isn't compatible with it anymore... i dont know what it is but it started to give me small bumps all over my face. I stopped using this product and my face cleared up again.
Makeup Brushes -Stila - #13 One Step Eyeliner Brush
beauty24_7 2/5/2005 12:50:00 PM
Good brush for eyelining with shadows. I had this brush lying around for a long time but never really knew how to use it. I finally went to the Stila counter and they showed me how easy lining would be with this brush.
What an awesome eye lash curler. Everyone should get one! I was getting tired of using the drugstore ones because it never got all my eye lashes, it always pinched my skin, and it pulled out my lashes. With this eye lash curler, it only took me a few seconds to achieve the perfect curl. Highly recommended!
This is the perfect brush to use for the smudge pot. The brush is very soft (unlike the flat brush) which is great because it does not hurt my eyes. It creates different kinds of look i.e. thin or thick line.
My HG eyeliner. I normally do not wear eyeliner because it always smears. It is because of the way my eyelid folds. Today was the first time I tried this and I can't believe that it haven't budged after 12 hours... even when I took a nap for 4 hours. Navy really brings out my brown eyes (I'm glad I didn't get the black smudge pot).
I use this only to remove my waterproof mascara (Lancome Flexwp). It does a good job at removing the waterproof mascara but it leaves an oily residue even after I wash my face with a cleanser. Now I am using Sephora Waterproof Makeup Remover which does the same thing but is less oily.
Shell is a beautiful color when used wet only. It does not show on my skin dry even if I layer it.
I was looking for a green eyeshadow so I decided to purchase the duo. In the pan, Moss looks like hunter green. It actually shows up more gray than green. You can still purchase this at stila online store.
This is a great stain. I've had it for months but hardly used it because it was so hard to make the stain come on evenly. I found out that the stain was supposed to be used after moisturizer and before applying powder. My mistake was using it after I applied powder on so it came out very splotchy. Now, I use it after moisturizer and apply a layer of Moon beam on top. Everybody comments on how nice it looks. I'm so glad I didn't swap this one out.
Brows -Maybelline - Expert Eyes Twin Brow & Eye Pencils
beauty24_7 1/5/2005 1:21:00 AM
I've been using this for over 7 years. I have tried other brow pencils but I always come back to this one. I have black/brown hair so I use the color Charcoal (a brownish blackish color) because it does not look orangy like Dark Brown. I think they have changed the formula to this because it is alot softer than it used to be. I normally stock up on these when Rite Aid has a bogo.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
beauty24_7 12/30/2004 12:19:00 AM
This would work great for me during the summer. Unfortunately, it is not moisturizing enough during the winter. I like the gel way better than the lotion because it does not feel heavy on the skin nor does it feel greasy. *UPDATE* I added one more lippy because I think I have found my HG moisturizer.
Love the color but hate the texture of this eyeshadow. It is so hard to get some color on the brush. I've even tried using it wet but to no avail. I wished it had a more soft consistency like the other Stila e/s I own.
Palettes -Smashbox - Spring Runway 2003 Makeup Collection

This is the first time I purchased Smashbox. I really bought this for the eyeshadows. However, I was very disappointed at how the colors showed up on me. Three out of five eyeshadows turned orange on me, even the plum e/s. The quality of the shadows are good but not as good as Stila.
