Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny Serum

This is my new favorite hair product, because it does everything: it detangles, defrizzes, softens, cuts styling time, adds a ton of shine, and even seems to give my hair some body. I have fine, long blonde hair, and this product does not weigh it down or make it greasy (and grease shows really easily on my hair). The only downside is that it makes my hair a little staticky. But it's nothing a little bit of hairspray can't fix. Overall, a great product and well-worth it for the price. I highly recommend!
I *definitely* recommend this to anyone trying to get hardwater buildup out of their hair. I've tried all kinds of crazy things - clarifying shampoos, vingear, rinsing my hair with Brita water, you name it - and this is the only thing that has worked! Used it 4 days ago and my hair still is still filled with body and shine, and is much more manageable. I generally avoid products with sulfates but this one is good enough to qualify for an exception. As long as I use it just once a week and not every day it doesn't make my skin too angry. For what it's done to my hair I think it's well worth the price.
My stylist told me this would bring out the tiny bit of natural wave in my otherwise straight hair. But it did nothing for me. Curly-haired friends of mine swear by this product to control frizz, but if you're looking for a product to scrunch your hair with and try to create waves this product doesn't work.
This shampoo is terrible. My hair is a little bit naturally wavy, but this product did nothing to bring the wave out, and unlike the other herbal essences just isn't a very good basic shampoo. Made my hair dry and frazzled.

This is a good basic shampoo, but doesn't really volumize. Also it has sulfates in it so I don't use it any more. But it's a good product for the price.
Self Tanners -Aveeno - Continuous Radiance Moisturizing Lotion

This is a very good self tanner, and gentle on your skin. The Jergens stuff made me break out in a rash.

OK as a clarifier, but left my hair limp and flat. Smells like fake pineapple. Now I use it mainly to clean makeup brushes. :)
This is a very good volumizing conditioner. It made my long, medium-fine hair feel thicker and bouncier. But in terms of moisturizing and detangling it isn't the best. Pretty expensive, but a good product for people with normal hair who are looking for more oomph.
This is a decent volumizing shampoo, but made my hair really static-y and I hate the smell. Will not repurchase but could work well for others.
This is a fabulous conditioner. I used it exclusively for about 7 years, until I moved into my current place which has such crazy hardwater that I had to switch to a heavier one. When I move I'll come back to this, though! Pretty scent, amazing detangler that turned my long, tangle-prone, medium-fine hair into pure silk with every use. Never weighed my hair down, and made it super shiny and healthy. I'd recommend to anyone - or at least, to anyone not living in an apartment with 80 year old pipes...
This is so funny - I also do the exact same thing where I mix up the caps for the two ends, and put the smudger one on the liner end and squish up whatever liner is protruding!! Guess the packaging isn't great. But the liner is really good. Lasts all day, and the Smoky Gray color is the best - works with just about any color you could put on your eyes!
Yes, this is a good moisturizer, but you can get results as good or better from drugstore brands for waaaaay cheaper. Curel has worked muh better on my dry skin than this ever did, for a fraction of the price. Won't buy again.

This is a very good moisturizer for dry skin, and good for the price, but I'm docking a lippie b/c I like Curel a little better. This is a safe bet, though.
Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme

I love the smell of this product, but it's like a catch-22 in a jar. If you put on too much it just sits on your skin and doesn't absorb for 30 minutes or longer, leaving your hands slimy. Too little and you don't get any moisture out of it at all. And there's no middle ground! I've never found the right quantity to apply to moisturize and NOT leave my hands slimy. I will not be purchasing this again.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Indigo Wild Zum Body Frankincense and Myrrh

This is such a lovely smell - perhaps my favorite ever - but the lotion is too light for my dry skin. For people who lack dry skin issues and/or are looking for a gorgeous scent, this product's for you.
