I love the smell of fresh apples and was so excited to try this. I was disappointed because to me, this fragrance smelled like the cheap Aqua Net hairspray my mom used to use back in the day with a touch of apple scent added. This just really did not work for me.

Deodorants -Secret - Invisible Solid in Powder Fresh

I have used Dove and Suave Powder Fresh scents with good results. I tried this and I am considering calling P&G and complaining. That's how bad it is! There's something close to a power scent initially but not a true soft, powder scent. More like powder mixed with some strong floral Glade Plug-In smell - truly awful! I discovered that as the day goes on, the powder note completely goes away and all you're left with is an increasingly strong cheap floral scent. Really not at all something I would expect. I was very disappointed in this product and will not repurchase.

Accessories -Unlisted Brand - Ugg slippers and boots

I would never have bought these boots but my sister gave them to me. As I opened the package, I thought she was playing a practical joke on me - these things are THAT hideous. I can't help but think they are well named; Uggs - short for Uggly. I mean, really, would anyone wear these if some celebrity had not deemed them fashionable? Of course not. How easily led people are. What's next, buying expensive garments made of flannel sheets and then raving about how comfy they are just? I tried my Uggs on, they looked and felt like bulky, non-supportive sheepskin slipper boots, kind of like those stupid Moon Boots we'd wear in the snow as kids. Sorry, I had to exchange these, I just could not get used to something expensive yet so hideously terrible.

Fragrances -L'Occitane - Verbena

I discovered this lovely scent while taking a day and browsing funky little shops with my husband. What a treat! It smelled so good, so fresh and nice we purchased a bottle on the spot - and we are not impulse buyers. I don't want or need complex notes in this fragrance, I just adore the pure lemon scent. This is a wonderfully fresh and inviting fragrance. I wear this very often and always get compliments. I love it! It has a spendier price tag although you do get a lot in the bottle and it lasts a long, long time. If you love lemon, you'll love this!

I was lucky enough to get this in a generous swap and oh my goodness I am in love! This smells so good my husband keeps touching my hair and saying how pretty it smells. I didn't spray it on my hair, I spritzed a little on my palms and worked through my hair, especially the ends. Was not messy, very easy to use. I will for sure use this again! I really like it! :-)

Conditioner -ABBA - Nourishing Leave-on conditioner

I have been using this leave-in product for several years. Whenever I run out and use something else I can tell because my hair becomes difficult to manage. I find a bottle lasts forever and I like the natural ingredients. My friends always rave about my hair and I am happy to share my little secret with them.

Shampoo -Aveda - Shampure

I am a huge Aveda fan and expected to love this shampoo but I didn't. The smell was bothersome and I just didn't find the shampoo remarkable enough to tolerate the fragrance. When I heard Aveda has a candle with this scent my thought was, "Who on earth would want to smell this on purpose?" Sorry Aveda, this one doesn't do it for me...

Fragrances -Cacharel - Anais Anais

I've loved this perfume as long as I can remember. A lady at the perfume counter sprayed some on me when I was fourteen and I said, "This is my fragrance!" I still feel that way at the age of thirty-nine. I don't get a powdery note from it, but a delicate, sheer floral mix and on me this settles into a delicious floral background from which a citrus note emerges. All I know is everyone who ever smells it on me says, "Oh you just smell so lovely!" I adore romantic, feminine clothing and feel that Anais, Anais is the perfect finishing touch when I get dressed. I do use this fragrance as I do all scents with a light hand, as some people are sensitive to fragrances. I wonder if the less is more idea is why I have everyone from my husband to complete strangers remarking on this delicately beautiful fragrance?
