I'm buying my second jar today. The "smell" doesn't bother me at all; in fact, I never thought much of it. It's HIGHLY moisturizing, so I only use it on my neck and chest, and at night. In the morning, my skin there is STILL moist. I would never put this on my face, as I'm still oily in my t-zone and don't want to feed my pores all that golden goodness. I don't know if it's made my neck/chest look all that much better. I mean, you're still creasing it when you sleep. But for the money, it's a great deal and I have to use something. And since that area can use all the moisture it can get, this product is the one for me, as it's specifically made for those areas.

Moisturizers -Olay - Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream

This cream DOES feel and smell wonderful but I find it a tad greasy and I think it clogged my pores and gave me whiteheads on the lower half of my face where I was using it (in upward motion!). I got them where I never had them before I started using this cream so I've been very reluctant to use it every night. A little goes a long way. I need a nice 'wrinkle reducer', not a moisturizer and this is supposed to firm. Maybe it's just not the right cream for my skin as I would never put this all over my face for fear of a huge outbreak. I'd say if you have no problems like breaking out and just want a very nice moisturizer, then this is your cream.

Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - La Colors Rose

I'm not in the habit of smelling my eyeshadows so never knew these had a fragrance. Geez.. You gotta be pretty sensitive to be able to smell them ON YOUR EYES. Anyway, I like the neutral colors for contouring that's very subtle with not a lot of color. They're perfect for that. Don't fret over the fragrance. It never be noticed by most normal people.

Finally! I'm hoping the gold-ish color will replace their GOLDLIGHTS that they discontinued a year or two ago. I'm buying one today. It sounds like the perfect type of lustrous look to lighten up your primary color if you're pale like I am and need that sort of thing. Probably only teenages should wear them alone.

Crème -Cover Girl - Advanced Radiance Restorative Cream [DISCONTINUED]

This is the best foundation I have found FOR THE PRICE! I use a sponge to apply and it covers so much better than any other product I've ever used, though I've never used MAC or some of the other high-priced foundations. Why would I when this does everything I want it to. It makes my skin look almost flawless, and I also do not have to use as much concealer around my eyes or on my 'spots'. Good skin care aside, which I do, I love this stuff. I've actually had Cover Girl coupons for Buy one, Get one free, and CG always has coupons for their products. Wal-mart has the best price on it. I always powder over it since my skin is still a bit oily and it looks very natural and pretty. I hope they never stop making it.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Makeup

I'm reviewing the Advanced Radiance in the JAR. I love this stuff. I read in MORE magazine that a tester used it in a blind test and would've guessed it as a $50 product. I use a sponge to apply and love the coverage. I'm 54 and have sun damage (brown spots) and so still use my Dermablend to spot cover over it. I have to use powder because I'm stilly oily, and my skin looks flawless. Which makes me a magician 'cause without makeup my skin is not very pretty at all. I will definitely buy this again. Previously I was combining all kinds of liquid makeup in an old Clinique bottle to get the best of the best. It was fun and I still use my concoction on days when I don't need the Radiance. Always use my Dermablend, though. I think this is a great product.

Fragrances -Van Cleef & Arpels - First

I've been wearing First off and on for 20 years. It is a true classic! It's NOT a sweetie sweet floral at all. I've read it has notes of jasmine, narcissus, Turkish rose, black currant buds, amber, vanilla and vetiver. A great scent for day and I've always received compliments when I wear it.
