Cleansers -Shiseido - Pureness Deep Cleansing Foam

wow... this DEEP cleans and makes your face feel fresh and clean. you need a VERY VERY VERY tiny amount cause this things suds up on your face easily. so for $20 a tube, i know this will last a very long time in the long run. as a makeup remover, i guess it removes a lot (revlon colorstay) but not completely. the cleanser itself is a light blue/white cream with little beads, but i think they dissolve once its rubbed in. i definitley recommend this as an everyday, tho a lil pricey it will last a long time cause you definitley DO NOT need a lot!

Moisturizers -Korres - Pomegranate Balancing Moisturizer
rated 4 of 5
bbybreanna 4/13/2013 9:05:00 PM

i love this stuff! first things first i have very oily skin (and this is targetted for oily skin) and its perfect for my skin type. its lightweight, moisturizes, works great under makeup, & no fragrance. you really dont need a lot, a little goes a long way. its $32 which is pricey for the amount you get (1 oz) and the packaging is TERRIBLE! i really hate jar moisturizers. not only is it not very sanitary but it means you run out faster. the packaging is the only thing i can complain about, other than that this my holy grail. please check this out if you have oily skin!

Lip Treatments -Nivea - A Kiss of Flavor Cherry

this smells exactly like red kool-aid powder hehe. its super moisturizing. and the red tint is really sheer but still noticeable. its a pretty red anyone can wear because its so sheer. dare i say this is almost a dupe for fresh sugar rose balm? swatched, the colors are similiar. but fresh's is much thicker, and has a lemon-y fragrance. i'm always on the hunt for a good lip balm and so far this is great! recommend. and its pretty cheap.

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - They're Real
rated 5 of 5
bbybreanna 4/3/2013 5:59:00 PM

sigh... why did i get a sample!? now i'm in LOVE, and when this dries up i'm not sure if i'm willing to pay $23+ for one tube. and this probably my new HG mascara... its so perfect! i have short thin eyelashes, and with this it lengthens, AND volumizes. it holds a curl pretty good, as well. no flaking, smudging, smearing, and dries in a minute or so. the wand is pretty simple. theres no fragrance. no clumps. the formula is weird to describe... not too wet and yet not too dry. i love this. i can't find any cons, which is why i rated it a 5, besides the price.

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit
rated 3 of 5

omg, the little round egg-like packaging is too cute, and the smell is to die for. the smell is the first thing is the first thing i noticed when i opened it up. its really sweet and fruity. sadly.... as a lip balm this is not the best! it takes a while to actually get your lips feel moisturized, but the moisturized feeling probably lasts 20 minutes top. you have to constantly repapply, which is a pain no matter how cute this balm looks or how amazing the smell is.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleanser Cream
rated 3 of 5
bbybreanna 3/6/2013 5:28:00 PM

i do like this cleanser, not for removing makeup but like in the morning when i wake up. it has a very cooling effect, which i like, but might bother some. i agree with others, it doesnt really feel like a "deep clean" because once rinsed off (especially with cold water) theres a slight residue left over. this can be avoided rinsing with warm water! its in a basic squeeze tube, and the tube is pretty big and you only need a little per cleanse, so this will last a while. i got this for $6.99 at ulta, not bad, but im sure there is something better that will actually deep clean.

Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Blush Brush
rated 5 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:51:00 AM

this is a big fluffy blush brush! perfect for very pigmented blushes, it feels so soft. the hairs never shed. it's very easy to wash. this can even be used as a powder brush for loose setting powders because it's so big and fluffy. i also use this to contour my cheekbones, so it's very multifunctional. i recommend this to anyone, and it's under $10 at ulta.

Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Stippling Brush
rated 4 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:49:00 AM

compared to other stippling brushes, like the mac 187 or elf studio flat top powder brush, this is very small! it's duo fibered with very soft hairs that NEVER shed. i use this to apply estee lauder double wear foundation. the brush itself is pink and the bottom is flat which is easier to store. i feel like because the brush is so small, it makes my foundation routine take longer, and prefer something bigger. but all in all, its a good soft brush and my first RT brush. it was under $10 at ulta, i can't remember the exact price, so for such a good quality brush the price is great!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Length
rated 3 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:44:00 AM

this is a pretty natural mascara. it does add length, there's nothing dramatic about it. it doesn't flake or smudge. my lashes are pretty stubborn, short and just stick straight out. the packaging is just a yellow skinny tube. the wand for this is pretty much a basic thin wand. i don't notice a scent at all. i think this is perfect for beginners. i don't think this is for me though because i prefer more dramatic mascaras.

Mascara -Urban Decay - Supercurl Curling Mascara
rated 4 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:42:00 AM

this darkens, and adds length & volume to my short, non existant eyelashes. the formula is not too dry and not too wet, which is perfect for me. my eyelashes pretty much just stick straight out, they're very stubborn. i don't really see a difference with my lashes holding their curl with this mascara. i can't really say this is HG because i find this not unique at all and there are dupes for this. this also has a spoon brush. it doesn't smudge or flake. and it's pretty easy to remove.

Blush -Christian Dior - Rosy Glow Awakening Blush
rated 2 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:39:00 AM

i have read countless reviews, and watched tutorials featuring this. i've been wanting it for months, and finally splurged on it. it's $44 so it's NOT cheap. i was sad to find out it's the biggest disappointment EVER. this doesn't even last 30 minutes on me. it fades quickly, and i guess with the "awakening" technology, it also fades my foundation off, revealing my acne scarring. ironic? i hate reapplying blush but i had to reapply every 30 minutes! my mac blushes last all day, and this dior is double the price. i had to return it, it was beautiful to look at and have in my stash but if it can't even last on my face what's the point? for $44, it was a complete waste so i had to return it. i felt bad, and sad because i've been wanting it for so long, and when i got it i was the happiest girl in the world. i've tried applying it with different blush brushes, even the little brush that comes with it, and setting it with transulent powder, but nothing worked. the texture of this is very smooth, finely milled. on the powder, it says "dior" repeated all over it. it comes with a tiny brush that is cute but i don't think you can call it a blush brush. the packaging is so amazing. the front is a mirror that says "dior", and the back is see through, which all the sticker with all the details of the blush. oh and this did not change color on me. although it is a beautiful flattering pale baby pink, i couldn't really enjoy it because, well, it didn't last.

Eye Primer -Tarte - clean slate 360 creaseless 12-hour smoothing eye primer
rated 5 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:29:00 AM

it does the job. keeps eyeshadow on all day with no creasing. it's perfect! i got it in a little sample set with 2 other tarte primers, and this has lasted me a good 6+ months, and still going. you really need a little. it's super blendable and i use my fingers to apply/blend, but using a concealer brush works fine too. the product is a white liquid, which is blended away. once i run out i will purchase the full size, but if you can get your hands on the 3 piece primer set definitley get it, it's a steal at $9 from sephora, and this eyeshadow primer itself lasts sooooo long. i'm not sure if it's still available though. :( oh and i have VERY VERY oily eyelids.

Blush -NARS - Amour
rated 5 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:27:00 AM

i asked the sephora sales associate for a baby pink blush that i can use everyday, and he recommended this. i looked in the pan and it looked very warm to me. but when i tried it on, it really does like pink on me. (not baby pink, but it's plain pink.) i'm nw25. this was my first nars blush and i'm so glad, because i'm in love. it's so smooth, blendable, and very pigmented. i'm excited to try more.

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
rated 3 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:24:00 AM

love the packaging, and how the product looks. it is a very nice highlighter for the cheekbones. it lasts all day. unfortunatley i no longer use this. it took me a while to notice that under natural daylight/sunlight, it has GLITTER. why would anything think a highlighter would need GLITTER!? i looked in the mirror in horror as i saw glitter all down my cheekbones. i never use this anymore as a highlighter, i was so embaressed. this is a good lid eyeshadow color though, so i don't feel TOO bad for spending $29 on this. the texture itself is very finely milled, smooth, and pigmented. it's easy to blend, and i guess if you actually buff it in, the glitters can go away. but i'm not even gonna bother. a dupe WITHOUT glitter would be stila kitten eyeshadow. yes it's an eyeshadow but it's a beautiful cheekbone highlighter, exactly like soft and gentle, without the glitter.

Blush -MAC - Miss Behave
rated 2 of 5
bbybreanna 1/20/2013 2:21:00 AM

beautiful blush to look out, but wow it has like ZERO pigmentation. it's sad because it's soooo cute, a very pale pink with a light blue heart in the middle. i am so glad i didn't pay $22 for this, i actually go this for $14 at the CCO. i had to have it because i've seen pictures of the quite cute collection from mac a looong time ago and regret not buying all the mineralized blushes. i actually use this as a matte cheekbone highlighter, and surprisingly it works. if you find this at the CCO, i think you should get it because it's just too cute to pass up (in my opinion at least) and you can always try this as a matte cheekbone highlighter.
