This isn't so bad. Really great because some proceeds go to charitable causes...doesnt clog pores on lips, but it also has to be applied frequently, which is the tradeoff, I suppose. Makes lips soft and smooth, taste and smell fabulous.
What is this thing? It's dry! It smells like rubber! It is hard to apply and hard to blend, it looks chalky and lumpy (nice adjectives for lips) even after balm or gloss . It looks pretty awful, not silky or smooth. Maybe I can burn it to keep warm this winter. I gave it one lippie because it IS a pretty color, but so are alot of things. I bet Wet & Wild has something pretty darn similar for a tenth of the price. And maybe it doesn't smell like the inside of a balloon.
It's nice. Better than most. I love, love fat pencils where you can just outline then blend with some balm or gloss and have your lips look natural, but better. This does well. Stupid Maybelline had me spoiled with their (very inexpensive and quality) "Express" line of lip crayons esp. in Coffee Rush and Champagne and now they are discontinued. This comes close, but so does a certain NYC pencil I bought for $3.99. Go figure.
Wow, great color, lots of it, easy to apply. It can look new wave or old fashioned, depending on how you blend and what you layer. Awesome.
Since they reformulated the Amazing Lasting and Colorstay foundations to be much less opaque (if I needed less coverage I wouldn't buy 16 hour wear full coverage foundation!) I've started the dubious search for a foundation that would let me skip concealer and that wouldn't take 3 hours to apply in the morning. This is the best I've found so far. I'm an NC15 (although my MAC sales assistant assuredly diagnosed me as an NC25- I looked like a terracotta flower pot)and I use an NC 20 to highlight. The only way to apply this and make it look anywhere near good or last is to use a damp sponge. Otherwise its a weird, smelly chalky mess. Stays alright. I use a blend of NARS loose powder and Cornsilk, and some light bronzer to give me a little glow. It looks okay. I've gotten a few compliments about my hair(which I've not changed) making my complexion look nice, while wearing it. Maybe hte longer I use it the more I will like it? I will hope.
Ugh. Some people say this stuff works so much better than Manic Panic, maybe that is true if you love the color PURPLE. Your hair will end up PURPLE, no matter what one you buy of the darker colors, blue, black, once it fades. Purple must be a cheap base for them to use. THe pinks are nice from what I've seen, I've used "Rose Red" or "New Rose" and it is a great bright Magenta that lasts and lasts. Don't forget the white vinegar when you rinse. Forget thier dark shades, though, stick with Manic Panic. Avoid "Midnight Blue" unless you want cat lady purple.

This review is for the Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Ointment. It is in a base of Almond Oil and comes in a tub. Maybe not the most sterile of packages, but easy to use for first aid needs. Amazing stuff, it is hard for me to not have some around. Great antiseptic, even works well to numb and soothe growing wisdom teeth, heals cuts and abrasions quickly. Apply some to belmishes before bed. Works well on the inside of dry nose during dry windy seasons or otherwise. Heals anything, does not dry skin or clog pores. Wonderful stuff. Seems that the tub has gotten smaller over the years. Usually priced at around 8 USD, not a bad price for the actual amount of tea tree within ointment.
