Scrubs -Dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant
barbie_c0ri 6/2/2012 2:39:00 AM
i just don't like it. Maybe I like my scrub a bit harsher than this but not scratching your face! The name is somewhat misleading...i was probably thinking microdermabrasion type of exfoliant but this is a extremely gentle scrub. Oh wells, at least i gave it a try to see for myself. If you're looking for a gentle scrub then go ahead and give it a try. By the way, I like that it is in powder form, it makes it easy for traveling! other than that....i'll pass for now.

Moisturizers -La Prairie - Cellular Time Release Moisture Intensive Cream
barbie_c0ri 3/20/2012 1:27:00 AM
This saved my skin from dry winter weather/conditions. I have very oily skin so I only use it when it's extremely dry usually due to traveling. Whenever I use it, my skin glows the next day! I get tons of compliments as well. Now I can't travel without it. Also, I do have sensitive skin and I am acne prone. No breakouts nor irritations.

BB Cream -Too Faced - Tinted Beauty Balm Multi-Benefit Skin Care Makeup
barbie_c0ri 2/18/2012 11:01:00 PM
Like another reviewer said, it's not really a true bb cream. It's more like a oil free tinted moisturizer with spf 30, light moisturizer and with light coverage just enough to even out the complexion. It does give a nice glow and blur imperfection but don't count on covering any scars. My boyfriend complimented my complexion when I wore this product and normally he does not care. I have very oily acne prone skin and it worked fine for me. And acne-prone as in my face is not full of acne, just sensitive that it would trigger a very bad break out. I purchased Vanilla Glow which is the lightest of all 4 shades. I'm about a NC20 for MAC, Petal for Hello Flawless by Benefit, BE light... It' s sheer so it blends easily but if there was a lighter shade I would go for it. And Vanilla Glow has a yellow undertone. Any products that does not give irritation and comes with compliments, I will more likely purchase it again!

BB Cream -Skin79 - Super+ BB Cream Gold Label
barbie_c0ri 11/7/2011 2:01:00 AM
i just don't have any luck with bb creams. This one also broke me out within 12 hours! I already have 2 cyst and 3 coming soon! UGH. Anyways, I find this to be a light to med coverage, not full coverage. I am nc20 and it matches my skin tone well. I do like the silky texture but I do not like the scent. The other bb creams i tried was mac, clinique, and dr jart. Out of all of the bb creams I tried, dr jart was the least i was sensitive to. Right now, clinique and skin79 gold are the ones i'm most sensitive to! Good thing I purchased their samples from their authentic website. It's only $1 with free shipping and some funds will proceed to breast cancer research, so give it a try before your purchase their full size. I also have the hot pink version and I'm not even going to try it. I really want to like this product because I like that it can whiten, prevent wrinkle and other functions for the skin. So if anyone find a bb cream that works for sensitive skin please msg me!

Moisturizers -La Mer - The Moisturizing Gel Cream
barbie_c0ri 10/28/2011 4:17:00 PM
My skin loves this and I have combo/oily/sensitive skin. I tried a generous sample which last a week. I had no breakout and my skin was glowing! Too bad they do not sell it for 1 oz like the original cream because it's hard for me to afford the 2oz ($250). I have written a review for the moisturizing cream since I tried both, and the gel cream is the winner for my skin type. One lippie off for the price and no other size option. I will repurchase!

Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer
barbie_c0ri 10/28/2011 4:10:00 PM
I just wanted to try this out compared to the gel cream so I got a sample. It didn't work out for me, I have oily/combo skin and somewhat sensitive. I already got a tiny pimple on my cheeks and I do not ever get pimple there. So, no to the moisturizing cream and yes to the gel cream. If you're leaning toward oily with combo/sensitive skin then get the gel cream, and if you're leaning toward dry with combo skin then get the moisturizing cream. I also felt that 80% of the product absorbed into my skin fast but the rest sits on top my skin, therefore, I prefer the gel cream because it's lightweight and it completely absorbed into my skin.

Crème -SKII - facial treatment cream foundation
barbie_c0ri 10/25/2011 9:01:00 PM
I like the foundation and it gives a nice coverage. I have a different result than the last reviewer. I have very oily skin and it is matte on me. No break outs, last all day and a little goes a long way. I have #420 and i'm a NC20-25, light golden yellow undertones. Any pink in foundation will turn orange or RED on me and this is true yellow undertone. They have other colors as well as pink undertones. Get a sample or test it out first, everyone's skin is different. Price at $95 and here are the ingredients: Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate**, Aqua (Water), Titanium Dioxide, Cyclomethicone, Isotridecyl Isononanoate, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Talc, Diphenylsiloxy Phenyl Trimethicone, Glycerin, Dextrin Palmitate, Dipropylene Glycol, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Dimethicone, PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Sorbitan Isostearate, Phytosteryl Rice Branate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aluminum Hydroxide, Panthenol, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Gelidium Cartilagineum Extract, Methicone, PEG-4, Hydrogen Dimethicone, Disodium EDTA , PEG-4 Dilaurate, PEG-4 Laurate, Alumina, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, BHT, [+/-] CI 77019 (Mica), CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (Iron Oxides). **Pitera

BB Cream -Clinique - Age Defense BB Cream SPF 30
barbie_c0ri 10/22/2011 4:29:00 AM
Sorry, I don't like to give bad reviews but this did not work for me at all. I wanted to like this product so bad because i wanted something like TM and lightweight but i broke out on the very same night! My break out was sooo bad that it lasted 2 weeks of consistant 5 gigantic acne a night and it left me with scars. (it was extremely painful after 4-5 day of the break out that i took some pain killer!!) My skin was clear prior to this BB cream and I was able to get away just wearing sheer loose powder to control oils but after this incident....i have to wear full coverage concealer, foundation and powder foundation. Now it's better so I just put on concealer and powder foundation. Yep, now i spent nearly $1000 on skincare products and visits to the doctors and facial... Good if the products works for you because i did like the texture and control my oily skin. I have mild sensitive and very oily skin but i didn't know i was that sensitive because my skin can tolerate alcohol, glycolic acid and all that bad stuff... it's just a miss for me =(

Moisturizers -La Prairie - Anti-Aging Stress Cream
barbie_c0ri 10/15/2011 2:30:00 AM
I actually like the scent. It reminds me of some kind of grapes. Just like most reviewer said the texture is light and it absorb quickly. I have very oily skin on my t-zone but dehydrated on my cheeks and it gives the right amount of moisture. I will update if any reaction occurs but so far I like this la prairie cream.

Treatments -Christian Dior - Capture Totale One Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum
barbie_c0ri 9/25/2011 4:28:00 PM
I received this as a gift. This product helps pushes out all my toxin (under acne or clogged pore) out! I have very oily skin and sensitive, and my skin loves it. I used it twice a day and everytime I use it my skin instantly rejuvenates. As mention on other reviews, you can use it under with your current skincare product. I just wish it wasn't that expensive! 1 to 2 pumps is all you need =) I also love the package especially the pump, since i can control the amount. I will repurchase this again for the 1.7 fl oz when I finish my 1 oz. It's a better deal since 1 fl oz is $95 and 1.7 fl oz is $120. That's $25 for additional 0.7 fl oz!!

Moisturizers -Ren - Matte Balancing Fluid
barbie_c0ri 4/24/2011 4:21:00 AM
I normally have very oily skin and this product dries up my skin. it's not a bad moisturizer since it's natural and not filled with synthetic chemical but i wish it was just a bit more moisturizing. for the price $52, it's not worth it.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - jessica simpson FANCY LOVE 2009
barbie_c0ri 12/20/2010 4:47:00 AM
On a piece of paper it smelled like burberry BUT on me....bleh it smelll cheap and nothing like burberry. Didn't work well with my chemistry. It's a bit toooo sweet. I was hoping to find a match to Victoria's Secret #55 perfume that was discontinued awhile back. Still no luck. The only one that's closest to it is Burberry. Hanae Mori is similar too but too strong. I'm still on the hunt!

Lip Treatments -eos - Smooth Sphere Organic Lip Balm in Honeysuckle Honeydew
barbie_c0ri 7/19/2010 6:22:00 AM
I like the cute packaging, paraben free without the harsh chemicals, it's matte (my bf can use it too lol but not in public) and the scent. I'm not so sure if it moistures well because i have to keep on reapplying it every 20-30 mins which gets a bit annoying. So i'm not sure if i would repurchase this product again. But i do reach for it often maybe i do not have any other lip balm that have no color in it =P i normally wear mac or clinique lip gloss.

Cleansers -Biore - Steam Activated Cleanser with SteamActiv Beads
barbie_c0ri 3/12/2010 9:14:00 PM
This cleanser clean off all my makeup, excluding the eyes. I would not use it around there because it has peppermint or that minty feeling so it will definitely sting your eyes. It does clean my pore well. I'm not so sure about the steaming part. I only tested this cleanser for 3 days so i don't think it's long enough. I used it twice a day. It's oil free, paraben free, but it contain fragrance. It's a nice cleanser but I already have a cleanser I like. I was just curious about this steam thing since I wanted to get a facial sooo bad! It was priced at $7.99 at safeway, but it was on sale for $5.99 and $1 off so i paid only $5. I would like to hear other comments about this cleanser since it's new. Update 3/20: I actually like this cleanser! My pore feels cleaner and less clogged. I went to get an facial and my esthetician told me that I didn't need much extraction done AND i haven't gone to a facial treatment for 6 months...so this much be working! My face do feel softer and smoother. By the way, I do have oily but very sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts (cystic acne).
