Polishes -Essie - Neo-Whimsical

Are all Essie polishes thin, runny, and sheer? I have Neo-Whimsical and Really Red by Essie and they're both the same consistency requiring a minimum of three coats to achieve any opaqueness and uniformity! :( I think I will give another of Essie's colors a shot, but I definitely will not be repurchasing this. I absolutely love the milky, violet pink color this polish is in the bottle, but the formula is a nightmare to work with.

This is my favorite B&BW scent by far!!! It is my Fall/Winter HG scent. Last year I got compliments every time I wore this scent. I would wear it every day of my life, but I try to reserve it for Fall and Winter for the nostalgia :) I used my 3-in-1 today as a shampoo and it left my hair really soft and smelling oh-so-pepperminty-vanilla-y!!! Sometimes, I want to taste it, but I know that would turn out badly, so I'll just continue to wear it for now ;-) If you like peppermint AT ALL, you NEED to try this!!

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Honey I Washed the Kids soap

This soap smells heavenly!! It is a very sweet scent. It is a little drying, but for my face it's perfect bc I have oily skin. The price is pretty ridiculous for soap; $30 something per pound!! I bought a thin slice, about 1/4 inch wide (they will cut it to any size you want) to try and it was $5! It did last me through about 7 showers though. I will repurchase it for the smell alone. I REALLY wish this was made in a body spray or perfume oil. LUSH makes a solid perfume version of this soap, but to me it smells nothing like the soap :(

Styling Products -Clairol - Tousle Me Softly Mousse

I absolutely love this mousse! I don't have curly hair. My hair is slightly wavy, but only in some areas. Generally my hair is pretty straight. I have been looking FOREVER for a mousse that had very little hold; just something to give me a little style. Tousle Me Softly Mousse is perfect for my hair. It gives me a little bit of style, volume and control. It doesn't have a lot of hold so it doesn't leave your hair crunchy or crispy. The name "Tousle Me Softly" is perfect for this mousse. It does leave your hair scented all day and I happen to love the scent (Violet-y, soft, floral) so that's okay with me. Like if someone hugs you they might say,"Ooo! You smell good!" :) I have already re-purchased this product and I will purchase it again. My husband even loves it for his hair! I only wish it came in a bigger bottle...

Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences "Tousle Me Softly" Shampoo

The Clairol Herbal Essences line of shampoos and conditioners are my HG. I recently discovered the awesomeness that is Tousle Me Softly. I love this shampoo. I love the entire line of Tousle Me Softly. I tend to have oily hair and with the use of other brands my hair is oily after only 5-8 hours after it's been washed! This shampoo cuts the oil in my hair and keeps my hair looking clean, soft and shiny all day! and it smells SO good. IMO it's a very unique scent (violet-y, soft, floral) It keeps my hair scented all day, but it's not overpowering so you can still wear your favorite perfume. I love the packaging because it's easy to open in the shower and it stands up nicely. I also love that they put cute, catchy directions on the label :) I bought only the regular sized bottle of shampoo about 4 weeks ago to try it. I was almost out of my beloved shampoo so I went to Target yesterday and bought the giant bottle of the shampoo and a giant bottle of the conditioner. I also purchased the Tousle Me Softly Finishing Touch Creme and some more of the mousse. The price of the giant bottle of shampoo is under $5 at Target so the price is right for me. I've tried other high-end brands and I always go back to Herbal Essences because it's inexpensive and it works great!
