Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush in Rose Petal

I looked at this blush for quite awhile before buying.........the color was so pretty and finally I broke down and tried it. I also got the peach colored one as well as it was a buy one and get half off of one at Rite Aid. I am pretty fair and pale and really..........this did not show up very well on me. Not that I mind too much as I only need a tiny amount of color but I was a bit disappointed with that. Also, the texture surprised me. It was very soft to the point that I felt I could smush it if I wasn't careful. The main thing that botherd me was the AWFUL SMELL! It was so gross........very chemical-like and basically smelled like something I definitely do not want sitting on my skin all day. I returned both and thankfully Rite Aid gives refunds!

All I can say is Wow!!! I had gone to Ulta to get my points reward thingy and I was torn between this and the Neutrogena under eye cover. I got the Neutrogena product but ended up returning it because it was too dark. I grabbed this oil and they just swapped it for the under eye cover. The girl that worked at Ulta said "This stuff is awesome!!" and I was very excited to try it. I have so many oils and products for my hair which is longer and wavy with frizz. Moroccan oil, Almond oi, Coconut oil, Redken Smooth down, Chi Silk Infusion, Fekkai glossing system, Fekkai smoothing and ironless straight guard, Ever Straight Brazilian therapy.......you get the picture. All of them work on some level.........some good and some not so much. I liked the feel of the Macadamia oil right away because it was thick not too thin and runny. It smells nice...........the Ulta girl said it reminded her of Cinnabon but I am not sure about that. It smells nice though. Immediately, I noticed when I put it on in the car my hair was more shiny and more smooth. The next day after washing my hair I put it through my wet hair and then dried it. It is so smooth and shiny! Just awesome! I mean, my hair isn't going to be made stick straight by anything unless I flat iron it. But, this definitely calms my hair down quite a bit and if I just want to dry it with a brush and hair dryer I know that it will look nice too. If your hair needs a bit of calm I would definitely say "try it!" I also just got right before I got this ......the Phyto de frizzing balm but I have yet to try them together. All I know is this will be a staple for sure for me from now on!
Love this! It is one of my favorite highlighters to use on my brow bone. I like that is is matte with no glitter or shine. It is very soft and is pretty easy to blend. I find that the clear cap breaks pretty easily on these pencils which is really the only negative for me. I would not use this as a shadow.........too creamy. But as a highlighter...........great!
I was very lucky to get this in a swap! I love my nudes especially the pinky nudes. This is so nice.........perfect color for me. I hope someday Mac will bring it back! I am fair.............NC15/20 for reference. This as a base with the right liner and a touch of gloss is heaven for me!
Didn't like this at all. Everyone is raving about it so I wanted to check it out. I am a nude lip girl but I prefer a pink nude lip and in some pictures online where girls showed pics of themselves wearing it, it looked nice. My main issues with it are the smell and the color. L'oreal lipsticks smell gross to me. Like a powdery-floral-Grandma-ish type of smell. They need to change that up in a hurry! Secondly, it is not really a nude color to me.........it is more of a rose/brown shade. I guess there are all types of nudes..........but this definitely comes up brown on me. :( I hate that most drugstores don't have sample tubes that you can swatch on your hand or whatever. That would help a lot.

I smelled this in Kohl's a few weeks ago but didn't buy it. I kept thinking about it as it seemed so different from what I have in scents right now. Finally, ordered a sample vial off of Ebay. I wanted to see how it smelled on me. As soon as I got that........I went right out and bought the bottle! Beautiful, alluring scent.................the only issue I noticed is the lasting power. I can't really smell it on me a few hours after putting it on. Not sure why but kind of a bummer. I tend to like strong fragrances so that is the only thing I didn't like. Maybe if I get the body lotion etc. and layer it more.......that would help.
Lipstick -E.L.F. - Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph

So, I have read a lot of the negative reviews about this lipstick and I can see where what everyone was saying is very true. Here is the thing about this lipstick.....you have to really be into the nude lip. I mean REALLY into the nude lip! I like chalky lipsticks which is not the case probably for most girls. I like it because I can work with it using other products and create the nude lip that I like. There are so many peachy nudes out there but it is hard to find the cool toned nude that almost has a touch of gray to it. That is what looks good on me.......a more cool pink nude instead of peachy tan/brown nude. So.........for me this works. I would not just put it on and go though. I either use a gloss or other lipstick to give it some slip and add dimension. I find this to be a soft lipstick....have had one just break off at the base so I don't think it is super dry. For the price, I will always have a few of these laying around!
Got this as a trial size................and I have to say I am impressed! I have so many mascaras............but when I use this my lashes are just like I want them to be........defined, fan-like, not clumpy, and lifted. Every mascara application tends to need a little help from a spoolie or whatever but that is kind of how I judge them...........if I need to do relatively little with the spoolie.......then I like it!!! I have to do very little if anything after I apply this. I will buy the full size one.
Gosh, I sure did want to like this! I use many products to help my lashes stay healthy and grow. So, I bought this up quick. Disappointed from the get-go. Clumpy, messy, brush is bulky and unbending. I generally like a bigger brush but this does not work at all. Back to the drawing board Revlon!!!!!!
So I go in phases with my nails.........I will grow them out and then buy a bunch of polishes etc. and really get into it and then.........they will break off/split etc. and then I do nothing and have bare short nails. I am in a down phase right now however I walked past this polish and stopped short! It is so pretty! A very light sort of Dove gray with a hint of Lilac. Beautiful. Goes on very light but is buildable. I just got it so not sure of the wearability but I never expect polishes to make it more than a few days so...........we shall see! If you like your pastels.............you probably will like this especially if polishes like Metro chic were a bit much for you. This is way more tame and wearable.
I have heard about this lipstick for awhile but never paid attention. I thought it would be more peachy or too dark from what I like. Then I saw on Youtube a guru name Lovepeaceandlipgloss talk about it as a dupe for Lorac's Babydoll lipstick which I love. So, I knew I had to try it. I cannot get NYX products anywhere locally except for Ulta and they don't have any of the black label lipsticks. So, I ordered it off of Ebay. Got it......fell in love! It is a great dupe for Babydoll by Lorac. It is a creamy peachy pink. Just a tad bit darker but only just a tiny tiny bit. I don't think you could maybe even tell once you put it on your lips. It is creamy and moist-smells okay (kind of like Pez candy or something) and the packaging is very nice. I am going to get a few more for sure. I definitely will be looking at trying some of the other black label lipstick shades now that I have tried this one and liked it so much. I have posted pics above with it compared to Babydoll by Lorac. In the swatch picture...the India lipstick is on the right.
Other than the Great Lash by Maybelline.........this is the worst mascara I have tried. What a huge waste of money. Every time I try to use this and give it another go.........clumpy,bunchy lashes that are a huge mess! Not sure why.................but for me and my lashes.......this was a nightmare.
Well..............it is nice to see from all of the other reviews that I am not alone in my frustration with the pump on this product!!! So annoying that you press it one time and way too much comes out! You end up trying to use it all and then having to wipe some on a tissue or whatever. A big waste. I can't say that I noticed any big changes on how my make up looked.......I mean, I think it does okay with helping eyeshadow stay put etc. but there are lots of products that do the same thing without having to waste a lot of the product because of that darn pump. I love Benefit products.......I hope they see these reviews or whatever and maybe reconfigure the packaging. I am debating on whether or not to return just because it is a hassle and I don't like returning cosmetics unless I have too!
This is beautiful. I am normally not a gloss person really but I love how creamy and opaque this is. Gives that pretty pinky nude lip that I love. Bought several back ups...........it is one of my faves.
This has been around so long...........I know I used it when I was much younger but then decided to try it again recently. You think if a product is around so long then it must be good! This mascara sucks! Clumpy, goopy, and just a big mess. The brush is not good.........I don't know why anyone would still use this with so many other better choices out there.
