I love this fragrance for men. I was looking for a cologne to give to my husband for his birthday and once I smelled this one, I couldn't get over it. I sprayed this on my wrist and couldn't stop sniffing it. I didn't purchase it immediately because I wanted to sample other fragrances before I settled for this one but at the end I knew this one was the one. I decided to get the large bottle because I knew I loved the smell of this and could never get enough of it. Plus, I love the fact that the smell doesn't disappear right off the bat. I can actually smell it on him when he is wearing it. Highly recommended.
Fragrances -Dolce & Gabbana - 10 La Roue de la Fortune

I guess Im the odd ball here. I really like this one. I got a sample from Sephora and every time I had it on, people around me told me I smelled really good. Maybe this fragrance works well with my body chemistry. I'm definitely planning on getting a full size.
Nice product. I'm glad I gave it a try after reading the raving reviews on here. I used MAC Studio Fix for several years (worked well when I first got it 8 years ago but recently it just wasn't working well with my complexion, made me look extremely dull and grey). I searched a great deal for the right powder for my oily skin. I was looking for something that didn't wear off within an hour, gave decent coverage, and didn't oxidize. I decided to settle for Estee Lauder Double Wear after trying several products but then I came across this powder. I think this powder is better than Estee Lauder since it stays on longer and gives a better finish. I would recommend giving it a try. I use # 4 for my NC 30-35 skin. UPDATE: purchased my second one. Seems like this powder runs out quickly but I still like this powder very much and will continue to purchase unless I find something comparable or better. UPDATE: I've been suffering from congested skin for the 10 months or so. Its been really bad and my pore size has gotten worse. I've tried a new skincare routine, visited a dermatologist and had chemical peels done and everything else I can think of but nothing really worked. Now I'm starting to suspect that this powder is causing it. I realized this when I was reading another product review on MUA and someone stated that products with Talc are pore clogging. I immediately checked the ingredients on this powder and lo behold the first thing that was listed was Talc. Also, I realized that I started having more problems with large pores and congested skin just around the time I started using this product. Overall, I really think this is a good powder but I won't be repurchasing anymore because I'm worried that its clogging my pores really bad. Update: After patiently searching for something comparable to this powder and I came across Pür Minerals 4 in 1 Pressed Powder and so far I am really liking it.
Been using this on my face for years. I like this better than the Sally Hasen, I think the Sally Hasen bleach makes my face look burnt for a few days since its so strong. This works great for lightening my facial hair and overall making my face look brighter.
I honestly was not impressed with this product at all. I know its only $3.00 and I can't expect too much but I feel that there are other drugstore cream/gel eyeliners that are much better and worth purchasing over this. For reference I've used MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, Wet 'N Wild, L'oreal HIP Creamliner, and Maybelline Lasting gel liner which is my fave. The problem with the E.L.F Cream Liner was that it didn't give a good color payoff and the lasting power was just ok, not so great. All products don't work the same for everyone so I can't say that this isnt worth giving a try especially since it sells for a very reasonable price. In general, I am not too impressed by ELF products and this was no expection.
I'm a big fan of the original Grow Luscious Mascara so I decided to give this a try. This mascara in my opinion has a wetter formula compared to the original which tends to dry out quickly. However, in terms of performance I really don't like this much. I like mascaras that can give both volume and length and this doesn't do much for me.
Primer/ Corrector -Too Faced - Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer

Really like this stuff. I have huge pores and its one of my biggest skin care concerns. I'm always on the lookout for something to help with my pores. I've tried quiet a few primers in the past year or so. I got a sample of this from Sephora along with a few other primer samples including Benefits Porefessional. I didn't think I would like this over the Dr. Brandt Pore No More Refiner but I was wrong. This primer does a better job at hiding my pores and giving a smooth finish. The pore no more seem to roll-up into crumbs. I've tried a lot of primers for my pores and feel that this one is the right one to settle for. Would recommend giving this a try.
I rarely buy Rimmel products but I decided to give this one a try after coming across it while I was roaming around the cosmetics aisle at Walmart. I decided to pick this up for two reasons; first it was very inexpensive and second the product claimed to give a poreless (I have visible pores on my cheeks) complexion. Overall, I am pretty impressed with this product. For me, so far it does everything it claims - I'm able to achieve a clean, natural, lightweight finish. For reference, I am NC30 and I picked up 340 Nude which seems to work fairly well.
Eyeliner -NYX - Super Skinny & Super Fat Eye Marker

Nice product, very easy to use. I like the fact that I can easily draw a clean and precise line. I have used liquid liners for years and now gel eyeliners but this is fasters and much more easier to use. Its pretty much like a marker made to use on the eyes. I have the Fat Eye Marker, I was afraid it might be too thick to use but I've had no problems with it. My only concern is that it wipes off easy, so I'm afraid it might not have a great stay power, however I recently purchased this and haven't worn it for too long so I don't know yet. I will update later. Update: started to dry out a little and became harder to use so I'm taking off 1 lippie.
Wonderful product. I'm loving it. At first I assumed it would not work for me since I have oily skin but I was wrong. My skin looks great with this product, I'm able to achieve a smooth, flawless finish and the pores (a major problem for me) seems to disappear. For reference, I am a MAC NC30 and I bought Nude Beige which is definitely light on me but after it blends in, the color doesn't seem too bad - I'm thinking that the Natural Beige will probably be a better match so I'll be giving it a try soon. The product does wear off slightly by the end of the day but it doesn't look gross at all, in fact I think the smoothness stays until I wash off my makeup. I'm extremely happy that L'Oreal came out with this product and I think anyone that is thinking of giving it a try should give it a chance for sure. 01/05/11 - I purchased the Natural Beige which is significantly light for my NC30 skin tone also but better suited compared to the Nude Beige. I thought I would make a note of that here so that it would help others decide which color to get. I found that the Natural Beige has a warm undertone compared to other shades that are close. Hope this helps.
Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Targeted Pore & Line Primer
b82 12/14/2010 12:54:00 PM
I've been in search for a primer to target my large pores. I've tried Dr. Brandts Pore No More, Benefits Dr. Feelgood, MAC Prep & Prime, Clinique Pore Minimizer, Murad Hybrid Primer, L'oreal Studio Secret, etc. and I found this to be the least impressive. I got it due to the good reviews here, and this might be a good product but it just did not work out for me. It absolutely did nothing. No matter how I tried applying this, I got no results.
I have used this eyeliner 3 times now and so far I'm loving it- I got it in black. Yes, this product is not perfect, there are a few flaws that many have mentioned below- the brush isn't so good, it's hard to draw a thin line, the product seems a little gooey but I feel that I can overlook all that for the good qualities this product offers. First, the black is very intense, I think this is the blackest eyeliner I've came across - I've been using liquid liners for many years now and have tried many different ones over the years and recently tried a few gel liners too. Lately, I've came across a few black eyeliners that tend to dry into a black-gray color which I don't like and the ones that are black tend to peel or smear off after a few hour but thats not the case with this eyeliner. The black is really really black which stays all day without smearing at all.- yes its hard to get it off but then again I'm glad this product stays put throughout the day while I'm at work. I've noticed that a few reviews have suggested to use a different brush - I'm thinking this will really help and I'll start doing that and will update later. Will I purchase this again? I think so - its intense and the staying power is great so why not. I do recommend this eyeliner but this is probably not for those who hate products that are difficult to remove or for those looking for a thin or easy application.
Misc Beauty Tools -Remington - Smooth & Silky Epilator Kit EP 6025
b82 11/27/2010 2:28:00 AM
This is a pretty good epilator. I own an older model of a Remington epilator- it has been almost 10 years and it still works great but I decided to finally upgrade. Like all epilators, this does hurt since the hair is being pulled from the root but I personally feel its not bad at all especially if you have tried an older version of epilators or waxing. This epilator like most of the new ones has a massaging system to distract you from the tugging sensation for gentle epilation. I wrote that I would not buy this product again and I probably won't keep the one I have either. Although this epilator is an overall good product, I've noticed a major flaw - the system slows down when you put some pressure on it while you epilate. I read some reviews online before I purchased this and other people have noticed this issue too - I decided to still purchase this because I wanted to give it a try for myself. I do think this is a good product but the fact that is slows down bothers me a little so I decided to get a Braun one instead this time. Pros: reasonably priced, can be used corded or cordless, massaging system, 42 tweezers (the highest I've seen so far for a lady epilator), comes with an attachment for face and other delicate areas, attractive design in my opinion - looks pretty, and comes with a matching pouch. Cons: slows down when you put more pressure against it while you epilate.
I am in love with this mascara..This product separates my lashes and makes them look extremely long and fuller. If I build up a few costs I get dramatic results. I knew I like this right away but I realize that this product was awesome when I was asked by 3 different sa at the MAC counter if I was wearing falsies. I noticed this doesn't have great reviews but for me this product has worked out great .Before this, my go to mascara was L'Oreal Voluminous.
Overall, a nice moisturizer. I have oily skin and I particularly don't like applying any type of cream with heavy consistency on my face, therefore I probably won't be buying this again. I wanted to give this a try because of all the good reviews and I found it to be a good product. However, I like to stick to something really light weight or gel consistency so I don't use this anymore.
