It always amazes me how every mascara seems to be HG for some and useless for others. Sometimes I entertain myself just by reading the radically opposing reviews. In any case, this one is nearly HG for me. Adds length, volume and most important, holds the curl. It IS a bit difficult to remove -- I use either Almay pads or the Clinique makeup removing solid balm (name escapes me at the moment.) I repeatedly rebuy this and will continue to do so.

Polishes -Essie - Vanity Fairest

My ultimate go-to for a neutral mani. Just looks clean, sophisticated, fresh and pretty. Not too pink, or too white and absolutely no yellow undertone. The micro-micro glitter is almost invisible but really amps up the shine. I can stretch it almost a whole week with a few top coat touch-ups. I have already repurchased once and will again.

Tinted Moisturizer -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear - Light to Natural

Would I buy again? Yes! And already have more than once. In addition to the obvious appeal of an all-natural product, I really like what this does for my skin. Makes it look naturally smooth, even and healthy, but without any obvious "foundation" look. After a bit of trial and error, I discovered an ideal combination that works for me: I apply Vitamin C serum and let it absorb, then I apply this, then hit my dark circles and a few light sun spots with concealer, then set it all with ELF sheer or shimmer mineral finishing powder. Lasts all day with no crazy shine or oxidation. If I'm going out after work I'll blot a bit, but could go without if I had to. Oh -- I realize the smell may put some people off, but it definitely grew on me and fades quickly. I never smell it throughout the day. And one tube lasts a long time. I thought I was getting low 2 wks ago and bought another one, but the original tube it still going strong.

Lotions/ Creams -Soap and Glory - Righteous Body Butter Lite

I was housesitting for a friend, forgot my lotion and used her Lubriderm. After a week, I had a horrible case of KP on my upper arms, back AND front. Ick. Got home, pulled this out because I remembered it has the AHA's,and after just a few days, the bumps are noticably reduced and overall my skin is softer and looks much nicer. It's a great texture, sinks in quickly but leaves you feeling moisturized. I also love the scent, it blends well with Benefit's Maybe, Baby and seems to give it added staying power. I'm using it in combination with Clean on Me shower gel, which also has some fruit acids and the combination seems to really agree with my skin.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Ped Egg

It's not an exxageration to say that this thing has changed my life! I live in the arid AZ desert, am constantly barefoot while home and wear sandals/flip flops year 'round -- obviously a combination that leads to yucky feet. I get a pedi every 2-3 weeks but the chemical "callous treatment" would make a slight difference for a few days, then I'd have rebound dryness that made them worse. THis completely eliminates the need for that treatment. No cracks, dryness or ashiness. Heels feel soft and smooth and look nice and healthy. Amazing.
