Eyeliner -Jane - Gliding Liner Eye Pencil

One of the best eyeliners i have tried, but then again, so were all the other ones (besides CG perfect blend) I lost my elizabeth arden smoky eye powder pencil but was too broke to buy another one so i picked this one up at duane reade since it was $2.00 off. it glides on sooo easily and is a nice matte brown color not shimmery like CG. this is very comparable to my elizabeth arden eyeliner except that the j.a.n.e doesnt come with a sponge tip and runs a little more than the EA one but its still great quality adn lasts all day for me. a definite keeper!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipgelee in Slicked Pink

I bought this lipgloss hoping it would actually be a decent product since it costs $14 but it was too runny, way too sheer, almost clear, and lasted for about 30 minutes. the only good thing about this lipgloss is that it doesnt make your lips peel, but other than that, this lipgloss sucks.

Powder -Laura Mercier - Foundation Powder

I bought #3 which is a medium light yellow tone but when i applied it to my skin it turned a little pink and looked ashy on my yellow toned skin. Apply it dry, and you get a sheer matte effect that lasts for maybe 45 min. Apply it with a wet sponge and you get the most flawless and perfect skin. It is truly a buildable foundation ad rarely looks chalky. The coverage ranges from sheer to medium, depending on how you apply it. The finish was matte, silky and just plain perfect. Unfortanetly, it only lasts for 2 hours. after 2 hrs my face was oily again. The color #3 was a little too light for me and alittle too pink for me but throughout the day, the color changes on me to a more yellow color, i guess thats good but it was still too light. and for $40, you only get like .23 ounces. its not worth it for me. oh well, guess ill continue searching for an oil controlling foundation that actually controls oil.

Pressed Powders -Chanel - Purete Mat

I have extremely oily skin, an hour after washing, my entire face is greasy to the max. I bought this powder in the color "buff" but it was very pink. The applicator that comes with it is double sided, a sponge side for more coverage and a velour side for a powdery effect. When i first applied the powder on bare skin, it had a nice matte finish, after 15 minutes there was a slight sheen and after an hour my skin was oily again. For $40, it is not worth it. maybe it would work better for someone with slightly less oily skin.
