Mascara -Guerlain - Maxi Lash Mascara

Super surprised to see the ratings on this mascara as its FABULOUS! Then i noticed that people seem to be talking about a discontinued mascara. My review is on the new Guerlain Maxi Lash in the gold rectangular tube. Packaging: LOVE IT! So classy looking i just love having it in my makeup bag. Application: Goes on smooth. I use the wiggle technique on the first coat and just apply the second coat. My lashes look full and crazy long with this mascara. I did not notice a scent and it does not bother my sensitive eyes or contacts. Looks good with or without curling my lashes Wear: No flaking, lasts all day, holds curl all day with no falling. No smudging. Removal: This mascara is amazing and i get the effect that i normally only get from waterproof mascara which i hate to use because it is so hard to remove. Maxi Lash washes off with Cetaphil cleanser and water and comes off clean with no eyelash breakage or pulling out of lashes. Overall: I am in love with this mascara. Would highly recommend it to everyone! It is my new favorite!!! ( Diorshow comes in a close second)

The MA at Sephora recommended this mascara since I mentioned I was looking for a mascara that would give volume and hold a curl. Firt Impressions: Hate the cheap chintzy looking packaging and was skeptical about the brush. Application: The brush makes it hard to get an even application even when applying as the MA suggested with the curved part of the brush. Some of the mascara gets to the root and then some does not because of the bumpy brush. The fibers in this mascara are not apparent and I would not have known they were there if the MA had not told me. I really hated the application and it took 3 coats to make it appear that my eyelashes had any thickness. NOT a volume producing mascara. Mascara does not add volume or length and barely holds a curl after curling my eyelashes...terrible product for the price - Maybelline has beeter mascaras! Wear: It wears okay throughout the day with no smudging and minimal flaking. Removal: The only thing I did like about this mascara was the easy removal.

Love this blush! Packaging is sanitary with pump...a little waste of product at the end Easy to apply Looks SUPER natural Lasts all day Love the color selection

Eye Primer -Make Up For Ever - Eye Prime

A Sephora MA recommended this product so I thought i would try it out... (I usually prefer UD Eye Primer) HATE the packaging...it has an unsanitary wand that you use to apply the product and then put it back in the tube.... Small amount for a large price! $22 for .18 oz Urban decay gives you .37 oz for $20 Product goes on smoothly, looks like nothing is on your eyelid after applying, stays all day and increases shadow wear. That said, i simply will not purchase again b/c of the packaging and amount you get for the money. If the company considered changing the packaging to a tube and gave you more i would consider it.

Primer/ Corrector -Hourglass - Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15

I have tried a bunch of primers and they all did not perform well or made me break out. I tried Too Faced Primed and Poreless oil free, Bare Minerals, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Estee Lauder, Murad, and finally asked the MA at sephora for suggestions. She suggested the Hourglass and I love it!!! The container is sanitary and has a pump dispenser which i love for sanitary reasons but hate because i feel like when the product gets low a lot is wasted. Application is a dream it goes on smoothly and makes my skin look amazing, poreless, and takes care of fine lines (almost good enough to skip foundation)! Long lasting - goes for about 12 hours before i start to see any issues. Foundation and / or concealer applies easily over the primer. Wonderful product! Can't say enough about it.

Lip Gloss -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie-Party Starter

I actually bought the Winter Sample set Cool As Ice and ended up returning it as i was extremely not impressed! The gloss goes on okay with decent color. The issues I had with it were: Feathering, Very drying on lips, Not long lasting, Taste was terrible, and it is overpriced for a bad lip gloss. Sticking with MAC...they are the best! Bobbi Brown comes in second for me

Amazing set...love ALL the colors. Especially Adventerous. This gives me a natural flushed look that lasts all day. The highlighter is great under the eye area to brighten it up. Wish these were full size!

Best makeup remover i have ever found. Does not clog my pores, Does not irritate my eyes, Does remove even waterproof eye makeup in a flash without rubbing or pulling. Will continue using this for years to come!

This is amazing! I have tried almost every eye cream known to mankind in my search for a moisturizing cream that helps with fine lines and dark circles. I finally found it. I live in the dry desert and its tough to keep my skin moist no matter what i use...even oil sinks in rapidly. This is amazing stuff and i can still feel it working the next morning. Has gotten rid of my fine lines and dryness that used to show under my concealer. I look and feel 10 years younger! Thank you BB

Lip Treatments -Bobbi Brown - Lip Balm SPF 15

This is the BEST and ONLY lip balm/gloss with SPF that does not dry out and irritate my lips. This is super moisturizing and adds just enough shine. My HG lip balm. I even apply it at night before going to bed to wake up with soft silky lips! Will buy again in a heartbeat!

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

My dermatologist recommended this years ago and i have been using it since then. I more recently switched to another cleanser as i felt my skin was getting dull and this product was not exfoliating it or encouraging new skin growth. OVerall it is an excellent product for sensitive skin and i will buy again. Even for use in the shower!

Powders -Smashbox - Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder

I have mixed emotions on this product! I love that you sheer off some powder each day and its freshly ground/milled for you. I also like the coverage this gives me when when applied over foundation although the color selection is minimal and i really have to mix 2 shades to get the right color. On the otherhand I hate that after a few hours it settles in creases and/or wears off and doesnt look good as the day goes on - wearability is 2-3 hours at best and this is simply not acceptable. This powder is ridiculously expensive for a fair to mediocre product.I think the packaging and novelty of instant powder grinding sold me and the actual product is not what it's promised to be. Will not buy again

Lip Gloss -MAC - Viva Glam V Lipglass

LOVE THIS GLOSS I went to the mac counter and asked for a nude that was not pink - The MA handed me this one. The MA was super rude by the way...was it because i am over 25 years old? I don't know but left dillards and went to the mac store in the mall where the MA was much nicer and very helpful. Anywho... this is an amazing gloss with the perfect blend of color for a nude lip. I have pretty pale skin so i didn't want something that was too pale and would wash me out. Love how moisturizing it is and the staying power! Avid fan of mac lipglass!!!

Pros: -Color is wonderful - im having a hard time finding anything that is not pale lately in mac lipgloss selection. I am pale enough and look washed out without some color on my lips -Applicator Cons: -Doesn't last as long as regular lipglass -Tingles uncomfortably -Does not plump lips as claimed -Priced higher than other lip glosses by Mac -Not moisturizing like other lip glosses by MAC
