Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Twist-Up Blush Stick in Coy - 722 [DISCONTINUED]

Dunno what took me so long. Right now half of my make up is Wet 'n Wild since I keep discovering more and more lovely things. This blush gives me the most perfect "just came from the cold" look. On my fair skin it looks like Benetint, which I didn't like due to it being liquid and not that user/travel friendly. This stick blush is dryish, so I make sure to moisturize beforehand. I don't really like it on lips, but it works in the eye crease. Grail.
Conditioner -Bumble & Bumble - Leave in Conditioner

I used this years ago, forgot why I stopped and revisited it again recently. Used alone on my curly hair it's worthless, and was ok only layered with other products. Otherwise it leaves my hair frizzy and mushy, with no curl definition, like there's nothing there at all. Joico Altima is a far superior leave in, as well as just about any other leave in condish I tried. This thing is barely worth 3 bucks, never mind 25.

The most incredible hair product I've used so far. I was very happy with HE Totally Twisted mousse and didn't think there's anything better out there, but got bored using same thing over and over, ventured out and bought Round Trip. I used it over Bumble & Bumble leave in, which I used in the past on its own and never got results like this. Anyway, after combing the leave in through my hair, I scrunched some RT in upside down, and air dried. It really did dry faster than usual, and it looks like I have a new head of hair. It's very shiny, no frizz at all (and this is after going out for a walk in the rain), very soft yet there's some hold, I just love the way it clumps, and my highlights totally stand out. My hair is 3B, shoulder length, fine but thick, btw. The bottle will last forever since apparently I only need little. Next will try this by itself with no other products. I read other people use gel over it, but I love this as it is.
Moisturizers -Olay - Age Defying Daily Renewal Cream - Beta Hydroxy Complex

Really like this so far. Been using for a week, every morning before sunscreen. Hated the scent at first but it didn't cause any problems so I got used to it and now it's actually comforting. It's hard to believe that something this affordable and available makes a difference, but it seems to. I thought my skin was even toned already (got this just cuz i needed a moisturizer for the am), but since I've been using this it appears more clear and even toned; just better looking over all. Hope the cones in it won't clog my pores too badly.
They were very generous with samples @ revive site and I've been using this eye cream for about 3 weeks now nightly (used in the am and pm at first but prefer an eye cream with SPF in the am). I like it since it's one of the few eye products that has not irritated my eyes, didn't make anything worse, and moisturizes well. However, I have some fine lines under my eyes when I smile, and those have not changed at all. So I wouldn't pay $110 for something that doesn't make much difference.

It was just ok for me. First I got a few whiteheads, then took time off of it, and when I used it again I broke out into itchy welts. I'm giving it a 3 cuz I think maybe it's just my skin having a reaction, since it does seem like a good cream (parts of my skin that didn't show a reaction looked pretty good, lol).
Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush in Whipped Strawberries [DISCONTINUED]

It was a very pretty and unique blush. I couldn't find it in stores anymore and it was still on Maybelline site, so I emailed them. They said it's been discontinued. Sorry to be the voice of doom :(.
I love L'oreal Voluminous, but got a coupon for Lashblast, with which it would only cost me 4 bucks, so bought it in black brown. Hate the huge orange tube, but absolutely love the mascara itself! Even more so than Voluminous! It's really amazing. The curl held up even during a rainy day, the color was perfect for me, it really did volumize and lengthen with no clumps, flakes or smears all day long, and yet was the easiest mascara to wash off. Am a convert.
Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in #568 Bronze Berry
avalonia 12/16/2007 10:03:00 PM
I first discovered it some years ago when Chanel Blizzard was popular. This was a cheaper, more wearable alternative, and it looks and feels much better than Blizzard (to me). I love this over the lip liner and without. Lasts long and doesn't dry my lips out. One of my fave glosses ever. It used to have scent, but I just got a new one and it's scentless, yay!
Treatments -Clairol - Clairol Nice'n Easy ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss

Made my curly hair mushy and frizzy. It was a dream to comb thru in the shower tho, felt so silky, and I had high hopes. Oh well. It was cheap, no big loss.
Love this! Wish Amorito lasted as long as this does. I had a gift certificate and there's nothing I really like from body shop besides Amorito, but since it fades so fast I didn't want to get it and got this instead based upon reviews. It's really great on it's own, warm kind of citrusy scent, but I just layered it with Molinard Vanille and OMG!!! I want to lick it off my skin it's sooo good. Not sure how it would go with other vanilla scents since this is the only one I have (it being non alchoholy smelling, not cloying and not too sugary). I'll try it with Serendipitous next. Or maybe just add on top right now...
Styling Products -Clairol - Totally Twisted Curl Boosting Mousse

If they discontinue this I'm shaving my head. Ok kidding, but really I love this mousse so much that I have a ton of back up cans just in case of whatever. It really makes my curly hair look like the curls in the ad, and it feels so soft and looks so shiny, has perfect volume, and I could go on and on, lol. I've had other curly girls stop and and ask what I'm using and I turned them on to this. Before this I was using Joico and Kenra mousses, but they don't even compare. The only drawback is that it doesn't give good next day hair, but I can live with it.

I've repurchased this many times. I only use this as a leave in and it's the best leave in I've ever tried (have tried pretty much all there is, from Bumble to Giovanni). It adds moisture, shine, got nice hold, and my hair doesn't frizz even when it's rainy. I comb this thru my (3b) hair after I get out of the shower, scrunch it upside down so that there's lift at the roots, then finger comb some more in (upright), twist some curls, and air dry. Hair even looks good the next day, and there are no other products I can say the same about.
Treatments -TRESemme - Deep Quench Conditioning Treatment

tis was el sucko for my curly hair. Tossed it in the garbage after I gave up trying to make it work with different shampoos and styling products. Don't recall the ingredients but I think there's a cone in there that curls hate. It made my hair mushy soft and frizzy even without humidity, much like every other drugstore conditioner does.
Scrubs -Olay - Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel Kit
avalonia 11/14/2007 12:38:00 AM
I used it and liked it but it really wasn't any better than scrubbing with sugar, so I stopped buying it. Besides, something in it was giving me at least one zit every time I used it, and my skin doesn't break out on its own. Still, I give it 4 lippies because it IS a good product and does make your skin soft, smooth and glowy. Just not necessary for me personally as I prefer cheaper alternatives given a choice.
