Moisturizers -Clearasil - Acne Fighting Moisturizer

This is a very good 2% BHA for dry skin prone to occasional breakouts. Left my dry, sensitive skin very smooth and completely free from redness. Not drying at all. For $3.59, I would definitely buy it again. My only complaint is the slightly annoying fragrance - I'd prefer a fragrance-free version. But I'm so happy to see a drugstore BHA formulated for dry skin that I won't complain too much.
This is a great product for soothing dry skin. I use it where I have problem spots and it does a great job on red, blotchy dry spots. It's very reasonably priced, as well. A 2 oz. jar ($6) should last a very long time - I'm nowhere near then end of mine yet. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because I'm not crazy about the smell (hard to describe - like carrots maybe? or some kind of vegetable/foody smell?). Also, it's very emollient and not recommended for oily skin.
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Skinlights Glosslights for Lips

A very nice drugstore gloss. Less drying and not as sticky as MAC Lipglass. Looks great over lipstick. My only complaint is that I wish the colors were more pigmented.
I've tried about 5 or 6 different shades (creams and frosts) and I found them all way too drying. Practically unwearable for me, even when paired with a lip balm. Too bad, because I really like the colors and the bullet packaging.
This is a decent, very reasonably priced lip stain. Looks/wears just like Benetint, IMO, but much cheaper. I initially picked this up to wear under lipstick, so my lips would still have some color when my lipstick wore off. Works well for that purpose. The color on its own is okay, but nothing special on me (think cherry Kool-Aid pink). I like that it's long-lasting and you can just slather lip balm over it when your lips dry out. I agree that the taste is awful - a rose fragrance is okay, but a rose flavor? Yuck. Don't lick your lips while it's wet.
This is my favorite lip gunk ... so glam! Normally purple isn't great on me, but this color works. A very deep, purplish berry with lots of silver sparkle (which gives a surprisingly subtle shimmer). Looks great with my PPP skin and dark eyes/hair. Will definitely repurchase!
This caused the WORST reaction I have ever gotten from a skincare product. I was trying to fade some light melasma in the form of pale freckles on my upper cheeks and around my eye area. I used it for approx. 10 weeks on my cheeks and saw little or no change. But the real trouble came when I tried it on the delicate skin around my eye area. (I should have known better). Immediately after applying this, my freckles became reddened and more apparent than before. The next morning, I woke up with raised bumps that were a very dark red. Several weeks later, they still aren't gone and I'm thinking about going to the dermatologist to try to undo the damage. Some advice if you are thinking about trying this: try before you buy, and keep it away from your eye area.
Moisturizers -Rachel Perry - Calendula-Cucumber Oil Free Moisturizer

I'm very picky about facial moisturizers, but I like this very much - it's good for dry skin, as well. I use it at night (since it doesn't have SPF) and it does a great job of moisturizing even my very dry areas. It leaves my face feeling soft and not the least bit greasy. It has a very nice fresh scent, and while normally I wouldn't be able to stand scented lotion on my face, I find this very refreshing and clean. My only complaint is the packaging - I'd prefer if it came in a tube, since it can sometimes be hard to control how much product comes out of the pump. Will definitely repurchase!
Overall an okay product, but just not my thing. I tried Honeybee, which was a very pretty peachy-pink in the tube but looked clear on my lips. The taste is nice, but too sweet for me - I was licking my lips and ate off the gloss very fast. And I've finally come to the conclusion that I just don't like pen glosses - they are too hard to control and a lot of product ends up wasted or dripping into the cap. A nice enough gloss, but I probably won't repurchase. Overall, I prefer Neutrogena for drugstore lipgloss.
Yuck. I really don't like this lotion. I got it when it first came out and didn't notice any change in hair growth, so I stopped using it. I recently rediscovered it in my stash, and I've been using it every night at bedtime in hopes of using it up. The scent is nothing special and the color is quite unattractive. But worst of all, after using it for about a week, I started developing very dry, scaly patches on my legs. Not good for my ultra-dry skin at all.
Skincare - Body -Lather - Jasmine Lemongrass Body Lotion

I wanted to love this lotion. I like it quite a bit, but I don't love it. The scent is a little too much lemongrass for me - I was disappointed to find that I can't really detect the jasmine at all. However, it works really well. I kept feeling my arm hours after I put this on and couldn't believe how soft my skin felt.
Masks -Lather - Honey Moisture Mask with Propolis Extract

This mask has done wonders for my skin! When I'm having a "stressed" skin day, I use a light layer of this in the morning. I really takes away the post-shower redness and leaves my skin glowing. Love it!
Lotions/ Creams -Lather - AHA hand creme with evening primrose
avakisskiss 9/11/2002 6:23:00 PM
I like this hand cream a lot. It is quite thin (almost has a fluffy, whipped consistency), but I like that about it - it's not the least bit greasy. It has a very light scent (primrose, I guess) that I found a bit antiseptic, but it fades so fast that it's not noticeable. And the best thing - it really made my hands look years younger. If only it had SPF, it would be perfect.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Shine Delice - All colors [DISCONTINUED]

I have this in Coconut Craze and it's a new favorite! A great your-lips-but-better for me (deep plummy mauve). Not sure if any of the other colors interest me (I have enough lipsticks I never wear anyway!), but I'll repurchase this one - it's very wearable and easy, with just the right amount of sheer color and shine.
Wow! I've never been more amazed about the quality of a drugstore item. I've tried many bronzers and they've all looked God-awful on my pale, dry skin - either they bring out the flakies or they are too orange/dark. I was about to shell out big bucks to try Becca's gel bronzer when I spotted this at Big Lots for $.99 - I had low expectations, but figured why not?
I love this! It feels very light and soft on my face. And it is so natural looking. It takes away my deathly pale look without appearing fake. (I got the Golden Tan shade, which was perfect for me but would probably be too light for anyone with a little color already). Will definitely repurchase!
