BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

This is a decent tinted moisturizer. It is paraben free and has spf.. two thinks i look for in foundations. It is not an asian bb cream and does not offer that high level of coverage.. however for a light summer base it works great. Light coverage so i use it with concealer and powder. I got it on sale and with a coupon.. not sure i would pay full price but this tube will last since i dont use it everyday.. if i am going to work and want more coverage i use foundation or asian bb

Eyes -MAC - Paint Pot in Bare Study
rated 5 of 5

I really love this stuff, this shade is the perfect neutral primer/cream shadow. Works really well on its own or with other shadows. The MAC SA put it on me under a blush (used as eyeshadow) and it looked really wonderful and stayed on well. I really wanted to get it that day and the price is not bad, I but I was buying two blushes.. Luckily though I was able to swap for it soon after, I think I will be wearing this almost every day. I have tried the maybelline tattoos and several other cream shadows, but the consistency of most is too thick and hard to blend. I love this paint pot because it is so creamy and easy to apply. Great find !

Scrubs -Derma E - Microdermabrasion Scrub
rated 5 of 5

I have only tried this once, a sample packet, but I wanted to write a review, because I was very pleased. I cannot speak about the long term benefits of use, since it was a one time use, but I liked it enough to consider purchasing the full size product. I have used a few other microdermabrasion treatments and this is my favorite of those so far. I think it smells better than the others I have tried and it seemed to exfoliate well. I could see a difference in skin appearance after use. I am sure with extended use you would see additional improvement. It is very rough, but that is what it needs to be to be an effective microdermabrasion product. I do not think it left excessive red on my skin and it did not irritate it at all. I have pretty sensitive skin and I am pleased with this. I followed with a moisturizer and my skin feels great.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Diamond Collection Pearl BB Cream
rated 5 of 5

This is a lightweight, shimmery bb cream. For more coverage I would try pink or gold label skin 79, but I do love this one as well. Read on for reviews/comparison of the four types I have tried. I will start by saying I got four skin 79 bb creams in a sample pack to try. I actually loved them all of them and could not see a big difference in the bb pink and the bb gold collection. When I put them on my face the coverage of the two seems very similar and the shade seems similar. They go on dark as do most bb creams, but blend well into my pale skin. The spf is great and they both provide great coverage. I think the bb pink is slightly darker, found this out by doing a swatch test on my arm... but the difference is very negligible.. I have not read much about them to know what the difference is supposed to be, but I could not tell any. Love them both and would buy either again ! I also got the two pearl types, the pearl and the pearl diamond in the collection. Both are shimmery, while the regular pink and gold did not seem to be. Also both of the pearl seem to be a lighter coverage and thinner. Just wanted to throw that in for comparison . The only difference I saw between the pearl and the pearl diamond is that the pearl seemed more shimmery/glittery and also seemed a bit lighter weight. The difference was not huge, but if you are not big into glitter I do not think that one would be your top choice. However I like it a lot. The glitter shows up more in the sun though, so for outdoor activities it might not be as great, but the regular pearl is shimmery as well... for a matte look you would want to try the pink or gold label.

This is super shimmery glittery, very lightweight and not a ton of coverage, but enough for the day, probably better for indoor use than out in the sun LOL. Pressed Powders -New York Color - Pressed Translucent Powder

This powder is awful. It doesnt blend in well at all, so you end up looking like a chalky clown. I hate this stuff. I thought for the price I would try it, but I wish I had not purchased this. Would not buy again. I am pretty pale, but I think you would need to be goth to enjoy this, it is way too chalky. Seriously, similar to if you took chalk and ground it up and put it on you face.

This is my HG highlighter. It is shimmery and beautiful , the perfect highlighter. I have actually had to make myself use some others I have just so I do not run out of this one. I use it all the time. So shimmery and pretty.

Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Emjoi Epislim Epilator

I would not recommend this for sensitive areas as it hurts a lot. I tried it on my chin hair and it didn't really work, probably because the area is not taught enough, It would hardly get any of the hairs out and it hurt a lot. That being said I just decided to try it on my legs and it works great, it is not painful on the legs, because they are not such a sensitive area, easy to use and painless. I really like it for this purpose, but that is probably the only area I would use it on, due to most other hairy areas are really too sensitive for this.

Loose Powders -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Powder
rated 4 of 5
autumnrainbow 2/27/2012 1:58:00 PM

This is a decent setting powder, I think the ingredients rival a lot of more expensive ones and for $6 it is a pretty good deal. That being said, I feel like the packaging could be improved, it is really hard to open and close all the way, so I usually leave it almost closed, but not tight , to make it easier to get into. So with it like that the lip is uneven with the base. Also I flipped it over like that to try to get more of the powder to come out onto the top part and it started coming out the sides. I wish the packaging were better, I feel like I waste a lot of product trying to get it out and stuff....

Eye Primer -E.L.F. - Eyelid Primer
rated 5 of 5

i love this stuff, it is a really good deal for $1. Fabulous ! It makes my eyeshadow last and is a nice base. I have the champagne and the shade is pretty, but subtle so you can wear it under anything. I have not used the UD so I cannot compare, but I usually use too faced and this works just as well. The only think I like better about too faced is that it comes in a squeeze tube, seems more sanitary.. but for $1 if I get concerned about the age I can toss it and replace... no big deal.

Primer/ Corrector -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder
rated 4 of 5
autumnrainbow 2/26/2012 9:45:00 PM

I like this product, it is very translucent and mattifying. A really good natural powder and a great value for a more natural product. The organic wear version is a bit dark on my ultra pale skin, I really prefer this one in translucent, over the organic, though the packaging in the organic line is cooler and more lightweight. I am willing to sacrifice on packaging on a lot of these products though, because they are really good and a great deal, especially if you get extra bucks or find them on sale/with coupon.

Highlighters -Physicians Formula - Mineral Glow Pearls- Translucent Pearls
rated 5 of 5
autumnrainbow 2/26/2012 9:43:00 PM

This is an excellent powder for adding a bit of shimmer. I think they have changed the formula, the one I have has mixed colors all over and the new one I saw in the store looked to be one shade on all of the pearl bubbles. I really love mine though. It is truly translucent and has a slight shimmer effect. Usually I use it on my cheeks and will use something more matte on nose/chin to help with oil control. This powder is really pretty and a great value. The packaging is a bit bulky , but it kind of has to be to fit the mirror and brush in the bottom. Usually I do not use that brush, I will use a kabuki or a soft puff.
