I normally purchase nude, peach, orange or coral blushes but I wanted to try out a pink blush for a change. I'd been avoiding pink blushes as I had assumed they wouldn't flatter my warm, golden NC42 skin tone. I saw this product online and decided to try it out figuring that since it was so cheap, if it turned out to be an unflattering color it wouldn't be a big waste.I was pleasantly surprised that this actually looked good against my complexion so no regrets here. I was also impressed with the pigmentation and will be using this one frequently. If I want a more peachy color, I can achieve this by using it on top of my WnW Princess bronzer. This is another great product from Wet n Wild. ETA: The only reason I've deducted a star here is because although you get a generous amount of product (6.5grams) the packaging is a little too bulky which makes it less than ideal for travelling.

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Last Matte 904B Rose-Bud
rated 5 of 5

I own many of the Wet and Wild Megalast lipsticks (10 in total). Of the neutral/daytime shades I own, Rosebud is my favourite. The other neutrals I have are Sandstorm, Bare It All & Just Peachy. I also have Pink Suga which is awesome for my smoky eye looks. Pink lipsticks generally look bad against my warm, golden NC42 skin tone so finding a suitable one has always been a challenge. Rosebud is a warm pink that's very flattering on me. It is such a pretty, feminine colour that gives a flushed look to the lips and it looks even more beautiful with clear lip gloss over it. As with all of these lipsticks, the packaging is awful but I love the colour and the opacity so would definitely repurchase.

Polishes -Essie - Sand Tropez
rated 2 of 5

The name of this polish is rather inaccurate in my view. Given that it was called Sand Tropez, I purchased this online hoping that it would be more yellow toned. Against the yellow undertones in my skin, to my disappointment, it looked distinctly grey. For reference I'm a MAC nc 42 or C6. 'Clay Tropez' would be a more apt name for this. It's an understated color but doesn't work as a nude for me-it just look as though I've painted my nails a pale grey color. In addition to the somewhat disappointing color, the formula is not the best. It goes on very streaky and even with diligent application, I found it a little messy looking. Oh well my quest for a great nude goes on, hopefully OPI Samoan Sand will fit the bill.
