Moisturizers -Nivea - Pure and Natural Moisturizing Day Cream

I was looking for a cheap, but good night cream that wouldn't break me out and I think I've found it! The only thing I don't like about it is that it comes in a jar. A pump would be much better.
Eyeliner -Stila - Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

I have really oily eyelids and I've tried many eyeliners, but this is the best in terms of staying power and ease of use. I've tried MAC guideline, stila smudgepot, mac liquidlast, and UD 24/7 liners....
I find it really hard to blend this foundation out. I bought it cause all the raves about it, but it emphasizes my pores and the flakiness of my skin which my mineral powder foundation doesn't. But it does last a long time and the colours are good. After a hour or so, my face doesn't look so matte and cakey as by then my natural oils have blended in with the foundation. I think you have to use a primer with this foundation otherwise it just will accentuate all the lines/pores on your face.
Sorry, I just don't get the hype! I find that it's very hard to spread evenly on the face. Even when I applied it with a brush, a cosmetics sponge, and my fingers, it still didn't spread evenly. In natural light, I looked like I have a mound of eyeshadow on my cheeks.
Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Professional Mineral Powder Brush #45

I was a little hesitant on buying this because I have a very cheap ecotools kabuki brush that was working fine except that the kabuki was too big for the pur minerals compact that I was using. This is a small brush, but it distributes the mineral makeup really really well. I'm glad I bought it!!
Love this eyeshadow duo. Looks great on my monolid Asian eyes. With a little bit of white eyeshadow in the corner of my eyes, it looks awesome! Highly pigmented and the lighter turquoise colour is absolutely gorgeous.
The shadow is really pigmented and the colour goes on quite nice and velvety, especially when layered over the NYX jumbo eyeshadows. Will repurchase.
I bought this along with a bunch of other NYX eyshadows that were on sale. This isn't the best eyeshadow. It's a little crumbly, but the colour payoff is not bad. Use this eyeshadow if you're planning to go for a night out, as the glitter seems to travel to other areas on your face.
I agree with all the other reviews. I was attracted by the colour in the pot, but this eyeshadow really sucks. There is no colour payoff, the eyeshadow is all crumbly once you use your eyeshadow brush, and you end up getting all this glitter around your eyes...
My usual HG morning moisturizer+sunscreen is Olay Complete, but I bought this for the summer cause I needed something with a higher SPF and I really like it. I use this as my everday morning moisturizer now. I was really scared about breaking out, but I have had no troubles with using this. This is my bottle and I didn't have any of those packaging issues the other ladies are talking about =P
I was scared to use this because of my prior experience with Everyday Minerals (bad colour) and Alima (bad colour, flakiness, and breakouts), but with Pur Minerals, I have had no breakouts so far (have been using this for about two weeks now) and the coverage is quite good. I usually use a kabuki brush and dust it all over my face and then I use a concealer brush to cover up any spots. It gives me a nice glow to my face! EDIT September 25/09. I've been using this for a while now, and I really love it. No breakouts, nice coverage, and the colour is really natural. My skin has actually improved too so unsure if it's because of the acne cream I'm using or this!
Been using this for a couple of weeks and it's been great so far. It could have been a combination of things since I started using a new acne treatment and I just got a facial recently, but the breakouts have been kept to a minimum and this toner definitely makes my skin look more glowy! I was very afraid this would break me out, but it seems very good so far for something without alcohol.
I was looking for something that was light enough that wouldn't break me out. I currently used Neutrogena Visibly Clear and it works well enough in that it doesn't break me out, but I never think it's worth shelling out $12 for the bottle when there's only 50 mL of it and the packaging is so horrible. This didn't break me out so far (have only been using for two days - will update if anything changes) and I like the pump and I like the fact that you get more than 100 mL of the stuff! It has a really strong fragrance though, almost a little too strong for my liking. Let's see how this one goes. EDIT: After using it for a week, I got clogged pores and broke out in little bumps around my nose and eyebrows! After I switched back to my normal moisturizer - the lumps got much better. Too bad - I wanted to like it!
Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Mascara Base [DISCONTINUED]

I wanted to try this cause I heard all these rave reviews about it and because stores were sold out all the time! I didn't think it would make much of a difference, but holey moley, it did! My lashes look much thicker and longer and my mascara doesn't give me raccoon eyes any more. Have to agreed with the other MUAers that it's hard to wash off, you really have to use a good eye makeup remover to get everything off.
Genuinely surprised this works so well. I got it for $10 at Shoppers so it was a good idea. Blends my makeup really well, but I'm not sure what kind of hair it is. It's not super soft, but not that scratchy either. All in all, good product! EDIT: It became really coarse and rough after a while....
