Don't know what this is supposed to cost because I picked it up at TJ Maxx. There, it was more than reasonable. Gosh this stuff is NICE to use. Feels good, smells good, makes my skin look good... I don't know if this product will have a lasting effect, or if it is just one of those things that has an immediate cosmetic effect, but either way, it works for me. I'm going back to TJ Maxx to pick up the others that they had so I can hoarde.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

After reading so many raves about this product, I marched off to Sephora and purchased a starter kit. OMG I HATE THIS STUFF AND IT HATES ME. I don't know how to describe it. It accentuates what are very minor flaws in my skin. I tried using my own (very expensive) shu uemura sable powder brush instead. When that didn't work, I tried my shu uemura kabuki brush. Nope. More power to those this stuff works for. I am definitely not one of them.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Calypso- Violette

When I was a child, my grandmother used to eat these square violet candies that came in a dark purple and silver wrapper. I loved the way they tasted and loved their fragrance. The scent of this is ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL and I adore it. If you are looking for a sophisticated, sexy violet fragrance, this is it. I must say I'm a great fan of the Calypso fragrances. I think the Mimosa may be my favorite summer fragrance !

Scrubs -LUSH - Buffy the Backside Slayer

Although I do think this product is overpriced (but I think ALL Lush stuff is overpriced...), this is hands down my favorite product of theirs. I love the idea of a solid scrub and this leaves my skin smooth and polished every time I use it. So, even though I think they overcharge for it, I continue to purchase it.

I tried a number of products by this etailer after reading rave reviews on another board. Sorry but I just can't agree. This stuff is downright unpleasant. It isn't whipped as advertised. It's heavy, greasy, waxy, and doesn't smell particularly good. It also isn't cheap. The other product I tried from this etailer was her Triple C serum. Again - it has gotten rave reviews. And, again, it isn't very good at all. I found it to be grainy and poorly packaged. It also had an unpleasant odor. But, that is for another review...

This stuff is so luxurious to use. The first time I used it, I was honestly tempted to taste it! Whenever my hair gets that overprocessed or stressed out look, I turn to my Phytorhum - PROBLEM SOLVED ! Oh yeah!

Ewwwww the smell of this stuff is really a turn off. It also seemed to gum up my hair. What the heck is in this stuff that does that? Bleck.

Hmmmmm I'm torn on this one. The smell is FANTASTIC and it does clean my hair without stripping it. The problem is that it doesn't really do much of anything else. My hair doesn't look bad after I use it, but I also can't say that it does anything to improve my hair. And that fantastic smell? Unfortunately, it doesn't last.
