I can't live without this product. Like other reviews said it is not for oily skin. I have super dry skin and this product is my holy grail. I love mineral makeup, but can't wear it because it makes my dry skin look drier. I had read info on baked mineral makeup and found this one. I tried it on and I couldn't believe how little product it took to make my skin flawless. The real test would be to see how my dry skin would look after hours of wear. I was so suprised that my skin didn't look dry and still looked fresh and flawless. In the winter I definately can't wear other mineral makeup again because my skin is so dry. But I can wear this year round without any complaint. I use it when I am in a hurry and need to even out my skin or over my favorite liquid foundation. I have redness on my nose and cheeks and liquid foundation just dosen't cover. Mineral makeup is the only thing that works for this. And this baked foundation is my staple. For my dry skin, baked is the key. It just isn't made the same as other mineral makeup. Even though it is pressed, it is creamy and applies so nice. I can apply this in the dark (not that I really would) and get a flawless application. It is so nice. I just can't live without it.

Foundations -Estee Lauder - Re-Nutriv Intensive Lifting Makeup

I really hate to disagree with Janet 1028 about this not being for younger women under 45ish. I am 35 and this is the only foundation that works for my skin. Yes there may be tons of foundations out there for younger women, but I too have slight rosacea on the sides of my cheeks and I was not able to find a foundation that would adhere to this slick, different texture on my skin. Most foundations would just slide off and the more makeup I tried to apply to cover this area it would look cakey and blotchy. And I am dry and have rough texture on my cheeks that when applied foundation looks so dry and flakey. No foundation has ever gone on smooth on my cheeks even with primer. Some foundations would go on smooth at first, but within a few hours my skin on the cheeks would soak up any moisture from the product and again look dry and flakey. I am a makeup nut and had been on a quest for my perfect foundation since I noticed this problem when I was 20 years old. I had purchased the Estee Lauder Double Wear wanting a foundation that stayed on all day. That is when I first noticed the problem with my cheeks and I was only 20. I don't think the Re-Nutriv was available back then. Perhaps it was, but I was first introducted to it a few winters ago by a young women at the Estee Lauder Counter who said her grandmother swore by it. At that point I was willing to try anything. She gave me a sample and I went home to try it thinking it too would be like any other foundation I had tried. But I was wrong. It went on smoothly (perhaps it did because it is a gel based product) and ahered to those dry, rough, red spots on my cheeks without sliding off. My skin looked flawless. I had tried heavy cream foundations and moisturizing liquid foundations. Nothing has ever worked like this foundation. I also love the Re-Nutriv Powder. Don't be afraid to try this product. Like I said I got a sample of it so I didn't have to invest if I didn't like it. I always ask for sample when trying products if I can get them. This product moisturizes and keeps my skin looking flawless. If you were like me trying to find the perfect foundation don't be afraid to look outside the box like I did. Even though I don't need any lifting and firming as of right now this foundation was just what I had been looking for.
