I bought this 3 step system after being bombarted by the clinique lady at the mall. Lucky for her I was looking for a new skin care routine since my current one started failing me :/ I had 3 horrible zits on my chin that kind of made a little triangle and one of them was a monster bastard! It was like 3 little zits so close together they made one huge one! It was there for a week and it wasn't letting me kill it! I was so sad and tried everything I had to no avail. Anywho I told her about my problem and she suggested the clarifying lotion in 3 after asking me numerous questions about my skin and skin care routine. They had a promotion if you buy one full size product you get 2 travel sized products (step 1 and 3) for free. So sounded good to me. I started using it the first time I washed with the cleanser (oily) my skin was so soft! Then I used step 2 which smelled pretty harsh but eveb after I used it my skin didn't feel overly tight or dry then I used the step 3 (the gel) and which is probably my favorite part (seriously I went and bought the full size the next day!) My skin was the softest its even been. I was pretty nervous about not using an acne treatment or anythinf after moisturizing but I wanted to see what the system would do without them. So I woke up the next morning and my skin looked amazing! Better than it's looked in a long time. It was glowing. The beastly monster pimple looked less red and like it got a tad smaller. I have been religiously using the system for since and my pores look smaller and my skin is still soft. My makeup is looking better. I thing step 3 is a huge part of that. I don't even use a primer anymore. It hasn't completely helped with my acne. I got a sample of their spot treatment when I went back for the lotion and that stuff is no joke! It killed that huge zit in 2 days! And thanks to this system I haven't had a new breakout. Well not yet anyway... I'll update if anything changes but I'm loving this!
Ok. So I work for walgreens and have been eye balling this blender since we got it in. Its fairly new and was on sale and had a coupon plus my employee discount so I had to get it right?! So 2 bucks and some change later I took it home. :) Used it last night and it really isn't bad! I haven't used a beauty blender or any kind of blender actually so I can't compare it to anything but I think its a neat little tool. I wet it and squeezed out the excess water so it was damp then dotted some if my clinique even better foundation all over my face and blended it in with the bottom wide part of the sponge. It worked pretty well for covering a large area such as cheeks and whatnot. I attempted to use the pointed part under my eyes and around my nose which was a tad awkward at first. I was paranoid I might accidently poke my eye with the pointy part. I didn't though :D I also used this to blend my clinique acne solutions concealer which worked amazing! That stuff can be a little cakey but this blender helped it so much! So yeah I'm pretty fond of it right now and just bought a back up! There still on sale so what the hey! It really is worth looking into its like 6 bucks and walgreens lets you return practically anything. So there's not much to lose.
I have been looking to get my hair black with a purple tint forever! I tried using black dye with a semi permanent purple over and that worked ok but was a lot of work. Sallys didn't carry a black dye with plum. I found one but it was discontinued. So one day I saw this dye in plum black and plum dark brown and got so excited! So I picked up plum black and gave it a shot yesterday and I have to say it is exactly what I've been looking for! Its beautiful! I used the plum black over john freidas cherry brown and it came out black with purple highlights its very subtle and can only be picked up in certain lighting but its exactly what I wanted and couldn't be happier. I mixed it using the age beautiful developer in 20 and am very happy with ny results. My hair is damaged from dying and I've been avoiding dyes like the plague recently but this one was nice it didn't leave it dry or more damaged. I used dove oil therapy daily treatment conditioner after coloring and my hair was baby soft! So yeah I'm going to buy as many backups of this dye as I can cause sallys seem to love to discontinue dyes I love. :/

I love this toner. It helps greatly with my moderate cystic acne. It is also great with reducing redness. I love it.
Toners -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Toner

I am in love with this toner! It has been helping me significantly with my cystic acne and breakouts. I have been using it for 1 week and have noticed a huge difference. My large cystic pimples have greatly gone down. I know soon they will be gone thanks to this stuff. I also alternate between this and the stress toner to help with redness. I love them both. I use olay cream for sensitive skin to help keep it moisturized.
I have been using this face wash along with the neutrogena rapid clear 2 in 1 toner and acnevir adult acne treatment and this combo had been a godsend for my acne. I have been struggling with horrible cystic acne forever and recently its gotten so bad just barely touching my skin would cause them to burst and bleed. I was desperate to get rid of them they were all over my face. So finally I decided to experiment with new products. I tried everything drugstore from gentle cleansers to harsh max strength stuff and nothing was working. I saw this cleanser on sale at walgreens 20% off for a huge bottle so I have been using it consistently day and night along with the toner and treatment and its greatly reduced the acne I have on my face. I no longer have huge painful zits they are pretty small now its been 1 week maybe 2 since using this regimen and I know if I stick to it they will be gone. I believe this cleanser has helped with no new pimples occuring on my face. It is drying though so use very little and lather it in your hands before applying to your face and use a good moistueizer after. I use olay complete sensitive skin in the cream formula it helps a lot
I've been buying bath and body works body wash and lotions for the longest and now I feel like a sucker. I tried these dpve beauty bars on a whim while my work was having a sale. I heard dove sensitive skin beauty bar is good for acne prone skin. So I used it a hand full of times for my face and it clogged my pores. Although it did take off all traces of makeup and didn't strip my skin. So I stopped it as a facial wash and used it strictly for my body and wow it works so well. It has an amazing lather and cleans without stripping I haven't had to use body lotion since using this stuff and I keep having my bf touch my skin to feel how soft its gotten. Its also helped so well for getting rid of ingrown hairs and bumps on my legs and arms. I also tried the exfoliating bars and love that more than the sensitive skin. It has the little beads that help slightly with removing dead skin and really help with the ingrown hairs. Give it a try its worth the few bucks.
Powder -Maybelline - Mineral Power Powder Foundation

I've been wearing this foundation for about 2 months. So I can honestly say I love it! I was previously using neutrogena mineral foundation which was great but it was almost 15 bucks. That's a tad pricey in my opinion. So I searched for a cheaper alternative. Walgreens had a bogo half off sale so I picked up 2 for 14 not too bad. It works wonderfully it gives me the light wear I want its breathable and looks natural on. It does a great job of covering up acne marks and evening out your skin tone without making you look like your wearing a mask. Its pretty long wearing I work 10 hr days and it last pretty well throughout. I also haven't had any problems with it breaking me out which is a must in a foundation. I'll keep buying this as long as they make it.
Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Permanent Creme Hair Color
ashswonderland 12/30/2011 10:09:00 PM
I bought this today in auburn black. Mostly cause I really have been wanting my hair black with red tint for a long time but the color I used to se for that got discontinued at Sally's handbills thought I'd never find another till I stumbled across this. The color came out almost exactly what I wanted. Its black in normal light and in the sun it's red. Kind of more Burgundy then auburn but I don't mind I love it. The over all experience with this brand of haircolor was pleasant the smell was better than other brands. The after color conditioner was nice. I will probably buy this color again. If I can get my bf to love it as much as I do. He's not a Fam of the new color.
OK I love and hate this at times. I love the color. I got the black. Its great to make a dramatic bold line. It works well on the waterline which is a big plus for me. But there are times I want to make a thin line with it but the pencil and consistency if the product make it difficult. I wouldn't say this product last 24 hours but it lasts a good amount of time longest It on was 10 hrs of so and it didn't smudge to bad I'd say it was pretty light and significantly less than other liners I've tried in the past.I'm not sure If I will repurchase
Eye Shadow -Almay - Intense i-Color Eye Shadow smoky-i for browns
ashswonderland 12/29/2011 5:03:00 PM
I like these Smokey eye palettes. I have green eyes and have used the hazel, brown, and green and like all of them they don't give a dramatic Smokey eye but more of a subtle Smokey eye. I find these shadows are hard to pick up with a eyeahadow brush so I use the brush they give in the kit and it works pretty good. This is the shadow I use on days I don't feel like doing too much of a dramatic eye. I have and will repurchase
I love this scent its one of my favorites. It smells sophisticated and its not a smell I smell too often which I like. It has pretty good staying power on me. Its a good buy I got it for 10 bucks off Amazon
I really like this perfume. I got a sample from a purchase I made on Amazon and have been using it sense. I got two samples and thought that would last me a decent amount of time. But just ran across a small bottle 15ml for 5 bucks couldn't pass that up. This scent is great its warm and spicy. I'm kind of addicted to it once I run out I'll definately repurchase
I just bought this product today and tried it out. i must say i love this stuff! some straightening balms leave your hair feeling heavy or greasy but not this stuff! i blow dryed with a regular vented brush on medium heat and my hair came out bouncy smooth and so soft! i was very pleased with just the blow out alone but since i bought the flat iron perfector also i decided to try out both and i must say the spray and balm paired together are wonderful! the spray leaves very sleek and shiny like the package says! you guys must try this! it has been a tad tough to find since its new. i didnt have luck and walmart but tried walgreens and found it there. i will be stocking up on this balm and the mist. since the last hg balm ( loreal hot straight i cant find anymore :( )
I use this with suave clarifying shampoo and it makes my wavy hair very managable and soft it really makes my waves very pretty and defined when air dried. the only thing i dislike is the smell doesnt linger but thats no biggy. i switched to this conditioner instead of using he ltr conditioner it started making my hair feel heavy. i will repurchase and maybe try some more suave products to see if they work as well as this!
