Sunscreen -Coppertone - NutraShield Sunscreen Lotion 30 SPF

Ive been using this sunscreen for 3 years now. I use the SPF 30. I have combo skin. It has never once broke me out and gives me a nice moisturized yet matte finish. Inexpensive for such a large bottle. I use to everyday on my face, neck, and chest. Gave it a 4 because in my dreams it would leave me completely matte! :-) HG drugstore sunscreen!
Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

Love this duo! Its a great dupe for Nars bronzer/blush. The color payoff is what really impressed me! The bronzer might be slightly darker than Laguna, and the blush slightly deeper than Orgasim, but both have the beautiful subtle golden shimmer. The packaging comes with a huge mirror, too. For $3 at Target I am buying a backup because this is such a steal compared to my Nars duo.
LOVE this product. Im no diehard fan of Lush, but this is one staple I cannot live without. It smells light, and is very fine milled, okay price. I use it all over my body. It actually helps cut down on static when Im wearing (no pun intended) silk camis and such. I use it everyday in the summer (in the South, very humid) under my arms, bra, back of my knees, etc. Always repurchase when Im out. I gave it 4 lippies because I wish so bad it came with a powder puff!
Lotions/ Creams -Alba Botanica - Max Dry Skin Formula w/ AHA & Antioxidents

This lotion is my HG lotion!!! Im a lotion freak, and after I found this at my local Target I havent used any other body lotion. It comes in a huge bottle with a squirt top. The price is $15 bucks, but the bottle is so large that I can go months on the same bottle, even putting it on my whole body probably twice a day. The formula is light yet very moisturizing, I can put it on throughout the day and not feel sticky or heavy. The scent is extremely light and never gives me a headache. Its like a delicate floral scent. The AHAs was the selling point for me, it has gotten completely rid of the bumps on my upper arms, and my skin has never been softer! I tell everyone about this lotion, thats how much it rocks!
This is THE best mascara for lower lashes! The small, thin wand and mascara formula makes it perfect, and the price point is right on. I gave this a 4 because it does nothing for my upper lashes. I wipe the wand off then brush it on in a sidesweeping motion, towards my outer lashes, slightly wiggling as I go. It gives me a slighty smokey liner look. It never flakes or smudges on me. Try this mascara in the technique Ive discribed and youll be happy you did!
Love this lip balm, specially the blues. The texture is nice and rich, and the packaging reminds me of my beloved Fresh. Its inexpensive, a couple of them have SPF, and are super moisturizing. I gave this a 4 out of 5 because its not completely translucent, it leaves almost a white film, so I use this at night and while Im chillin at home. I have repurchased these a few times.
Lipstick -Neutrogena - MoistureShine Soothing Lipsheers [DISCONTINUED]

Love this product. Its like a lipstick/balm. I buy it in Honey Breeze, a nice nude with no shimmer with a matte-ish finish. Could be a little more hydrating (but then again I am addicted to gloss). Also, I wish they would make a true red! Inexpensive and chic looking packaging. Have bought 2 so far. Its a go-to for a daytime nude lip.
A-list is my HG red. Its a beautiful shade of true red thats almost sheer and drys quickly, long lasting if you put a good topcoat on your tips. One coat drys to a bright pop of red, I like two coats to give it a little more depth. It looks fantastic on my fair/medium skin. Now if I could only find it in a lipstick!
This is the best darn eyelash curler I have ever used. Im a diehard lash curler, and Ive used just about every brand out there, including heated ones because I was tired of heating up my metal ones with my hair dryer (risk-kay!). I bought this on a whim b/c it was a travel size so I could throw it in my purse. Holy cow! I first used this about a year ago and havent looked back. Just a few squeezes from this mini plastic curler and Ive got uber curls, no heat required! I rarely have to touch up during the day, too. Its inexpensive, small, and works wonders! The ONLY con to this curler is that it is plastic and tends to get a small crack right down the middle after a few months. Doesnt phase me tho, the lash payoff out ways any con. Try it! Its sold at Tarjay.
Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Aquaphor Healing Ointment

This was my life saver during a year of Accutane. My derm recommended then and I still use it, years later! Its hardcore skin care, reminds me of upgraded Vasoline, and you can basically use it as a all purpose salve. Bites, burns, flakes, whatev! I like it use it mainly on my lips and my hands and feet (with socks and gloves) overnight. Worth just having it around!
Shampoo -Schwarzkopf - Bonacure Silver Reflex Shampoo
ashley4frogs 10/26/2009 7:26:00 PM
This is my "HG" shampoo. All my hair products are Bonacure so my hair girl gave me the remainder of a bottle she had and Ive been hooked ever since! I use this about once a week to keep my blonde hair fresh. It takes down brassiness so well and the smell is amazing. I purchase a new bottle every couple of months.
Love these shadows. They are down right cheap and last forever. Takes me back in the day when they had about a million colors to choose from---now its a pretty limited selection. If I come across a Jane display I usually cant resist picking up one or two...or three.
Sad to hear its been discountinued. This is my everyday shading powder I use on my crease. Its a light taupe that always looks natural. Ive had the pot I have now for yeeeeears and its not even half way gone. So cheap and so good. I'll miss you Rock Star, like I miss Hi-Ho Silver!
Styling Products -John Frieda - Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster

I finally tried this product after seeing it in numerous magazines. It works great for my hair, which is very fine and straight but there is TONS of it. I spray it on my roots and rub it in, then mist it over the rest of my hair. The spray bottle is convenient (easier than mousse) and a little goes a long way. After a blow dry my hair is bouncy and full like I used a mousse. Ive also found that if I use it before I brush my hair out while its wet it makes some nice beach waves. I will probably buy it again. UPDATE: Found that if I use this a few days in a row, my hair seems greasy. But if I lay off for a day or two, then use it again, my hair is back to the great body it gives me. Who knows...
Thats it! Im going to have to buy this. It reminds me of an old Body Shop holiday gloss I recently unearthed---ruby with sparkle---thats no longer available. Gotta get this gloss!
