Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24 hr # 30 Seashore Frosts
rated 5 of 5

I went to a few stores before finally finding this at Rite Aid. I'm glad I did, this color is gorgeous! When I initially saw swatches of it online it looked like there was a hint of pink to it and I thought it would look nice as a base under MAC Vex and it does! Normally I find Vex to be kind of sheer and the duochrome doesn't show much, but over Seashore Frosts it looks amazing! Very pigmented and the duochrome really stands out despite SF not showing any noticeable pink tones. I love wearing this combo with Satin Taupe in the crease. I wish they would make this color permanent!

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - 24hr Color Tattoo Shady Shores
rated 5 of 5

When I first saw this one in the store it looked like it had barely any duochrome (pictures online didn't show much either) so I was hesitant to buy it, but I'm really glad I did. If you look at it in the sunlight the green duochrome is actually really strong. I like to wear this as a base for MAC Gorgeous Gold, which I couldn't get to work for me before as the green wouldn't show at all and it looked funny on me. If you like Gorgeous Gold or if you're like me and couldn't get the color to work for you, try it with this, it looks awesome!

Conditioner -L'Oreal - EverCreme Intense Nourishing Conditioner
rated 1 of 5
ashley1227 3/12/2012 3:18:00 PM

This conditioner is the worst of the worst. I hate this stuff with a passion. I put this stuff in my hair and try to comb it through and I can tell even then that it's doing nothing for my hair. It makes it feel like straw. One of the most drying conditioners I've ever used. Would not repurchase.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverCreme Intense Nourishing
rated 1 of 5
ashley1227 3/12/2012 2:34:00 PM

I think this may be in the top 3 worst shampoos I've ever used. It leaves my hair soft, but it's weighed down, staticky and refuses to cooperate. It works better for me if I use the Evercreme hair mask, rather than the intense nourishing conditioner (this one wins the spot of WORST conditioner I have ever used). Good hair days are definitely few and far between for me with this shampoo. I like the smell, but if you are sensitive to scented products you might want to pass on this because the smell lingers all day. Would never repurchase.

Blush -NARS - Madly
rated 4 of 5
ashley1227 8/12/2011 3:57:00 PM

I like Madly, however I find it some what hard to work with on my skin tone. I have a fair-medium skin tone and find that Madly can sometimes look muddy on me. Building it up slightly with a stippling brush usually solves this problem though. When I can take a little extra time to work with it I think it looks nice and gives me a "natural glow" type of look. Overall I'm happy with it because I have nothing else like it and I will repurchase if I ever run out :)

Makeup Brushes -Too Faced - Bronze-Buki
rated 5 of 5
ashley1227 8/12/2011 3:41:00 PM

I love this brush! I never wore bronzer for the longest time because I'm fair and assumed it would look muddy on me or make me look orange. I tried a few other brushes before this one-a sigma one (can't remember the number), a regular blush brush (eeek! that wasn't a good idea!) and the EcoTools bronzer brush. I love this one the most though. It really does make the bronzer look airbrushed on the skin and it never looks harsh or too dark. It definitely made me a bronzer lover :)

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream
rated 5 of 5
ashley1227 8/12/2011 3:26:00 PM

I bought this at Sephora when I saw it by the register and I'm a sucker for stuff that's readily available, so I got it. I'm not sure what compelled me because I have about 40 unused tubes of lotion at home from various sales. I tried it on my hands and it was a bit heavy, it's summer though, so maybe in the winter it will be more appropriate. I did use it on my lips though and I loved it! Usually no matter how much I exfoliate my lips and use lip balm they are still so dry and lip products always look like crap, but not if I use this. Before I was unable to use certain lighter shades of lipstick because they would show so many flakes on my lips, but this prevents that. Plus, if I use it for a few days straight the effects last a lot longer. Would definitely recommend to anyone with hopelessly dry lips!

Mascara -Maybelline - The Falsies in Black Drama
rated 1 of 5
ashley1227 8/12/2011 3:19:00 PM

This mascara is the worst of the worst. Literally the worst I have ever used. This has the driest, most disgusting formula I have ever seen in a mascara. I should have known when I opened the tube and the brush was already clumpy that this wouldn't be good. Gave me the ultimate spider lashes and was unbearably clumpy. I think I used this for about a week and gave it away to a friend. Total waste of my money.

Mascara -Revlon - Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara
rated 3 of 5
ashley1227 8/12/2011 3:11:00 PM

This mascara is ok. I bought this because I heard it was *exactly* like Diorshow down to the formula. Well, the tubes and brushes are similar, however the formula is waaaay off. The Grow Luscious formula is so dry I can see it looking crumbly on my lashes, Diorshow has never done that to me. So, while I enjoy the brush and the tube (the color is so pretty!) I don't think that I will repurchase this one because the formula sucks. I hate to say it but I think I will go back to my MAC Opulash and Diorshow which I have been avoiding due to price.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion
rated 2 of 5
ashley1227 8/12/2011 3:04:00 PM

Not impressed with this at all. It claims to volumize and lengthen the lashes, but it just made mine a little bit longer and spidery looking. And I hate spiders. I got absolutely NO volume from this. It also hurts when I apply it to my left eye (not sure why it doesn't happen with the right) and feels like it is ripping my eyelashes out. Plus it costs $7!! That's ridiculous, I can go to MAC and get Opulash (one of my faves) for $14, which lasts longer AND can be used for B2M. Definitely never buying this again (or any other Lash Blast mascaras for that matter).

Blush -NYX - Rouge Cream Blush - Boho Chic
rated 1 of 5
ashley1227 1/8/2011 11:13:00 PM

I received this in a swap. I was so excited to get this, but when it arrived it was nothing like I expected. I was expecting natural looking nude pink, but it had huge chunky glitter and didn't show up on my skin at all. Pretty disappointed with this one, but I would like to try other nyx cream blushes.

Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte Lipstick - #1 Nude Beige
rated 5 of 5
ashley1227 1/8/2011 11:09:00 PM

This is the pink lipstick I've been searching for all my life (or at least since I've been wearing makeup)! It's the perfect pinky nude that I've always wanted. I like this way better than #2 and #7 (both of which I have and everyone raves over). The packaging is so pretty, but scratches very easily. I also love how creamy the formula is, which I know is an issue for others. When I apply this I don't swipe it on, I dap it on and rub my lips together. I've never had any issues with my lips looking dry or it not lasting long enough due to the texture. I really like the smell too, can't put my finger on what it smells like, but I find it pleasant. The price for these is steep, however I'm willing to pay it because I love this so much!! :)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Naked Lunch
rated 5 of 5
ashley1227 1/8/2011 10:57:00 PM

Naked lunch is a staple for me. When I'm in a hurry and don't know what makeup to wear I pick naked lunch. It's not too frosty and has the perfect amount of pigmentation for me. I use it mainly on my lid with any kind of darker color in the crease for a simple look. I'll make sure I always have this in my stash :)

Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Airy Fairy
rated 5 of 5
ashley1227 1/8/2011 10:48:00 PM

On me Airy Fairy is a medium nude pink with slight golden shimmer. It doesn't show up a baby pink like others, maybe because of my fair skin tone. I love it though! Very versatile and inexpensive. I like the scent too :)

Blush -NARS - Cream Blush in Penny Lane
rated 5 of 5
ashley1227 1/8/2011 10:44:00 PM

Penny lane is definitely one of my favorite blushes. For cream blushes NARS has the best texture, imo. Very easy to blend and never feels sticky or heavy like some brands. It also looks so natural. Just an all around great blush, definitely worth the $26 I paid for it. I want to try cactus flower next :)
