Treatments (Eye) -BeneFit Cosmetics - It's Potent!

Ive been in graduate school a year now and I have noticed that I am starting to get some major under-eye circles. This was not much of an issue for me, but all of the late nights studying and early mornings in the lab were catching up with me. I went to Ulta to get some more concealer but I came across this wonderful little product. Instead of concealing, why not try and get rid of them? The full sized product was a little too pricey for me since I did not know if it would work, but I did find a nice little kit of 7 beneFIT skincare samples for under $25. It included It's potent! so I picked that up instead. I have been using it for around 2 weeks now (along with the other products in the kit) and I have noticed a dramatic difference. My eyes are brighter and less puffy in the morning. I love it! The sample size was pretty generous. Should last at least a month... Once that's gone, I'll probably just get another sample kit. It was a really good deal.
Nice color with a wide brush. Dry time isn't the best and the brush can be hard to work with. 2-3 coats, which is average for this kind of shade. Overall, it's definitely worth the $1-$2 but I prefer For Audrey which you can easily get for $3 online.
I use this at night before going to bed since it doesn't have SPF. It's very heavy but blends in nicely. I keeps my skin hydrated in these long, dry, winter months better than all of the other moisturizers I use. It doesn't have the greatest smell, but it isn't terrible in any way. If most moisturizers leave you wanting more, then this product is for you but beware! it is rather pricey...
I have 4 different Etude House polish collections. First is Petite Darling- These come in pretty standard colors, mostly cremes with a few shimmers or duotones. They are really inexpensive but the bottles are rather small but very pretty. They apply nicely. The creme colors that I have tried are opaque and smooth in 2 coats (1 if you are really good!) while the shimmer that I have (light green) takes about 3 to get rid of any VNL. Overall awesome product for the price There is also the LuciDarling collection- These are a little more exciting color and finish wise. There are glitters, glitter jellies, shimmers, and even foils. The bottle is regular sized but heart shaped with an elongated handle. Super unique and cute. The formula on these is also very good. The glitter jellies are meant to be layered I believe, but the other finishes are opaque within 2-3 coats. This is (IMO) the best collection fro Etude House Then there is the Darling Nails Bling Bling collection- overall, the cutest bottle. Pretty and swirly and intricate. An art piece in and of itself. The colors in this collection are really neat. There are holo glitters, duoshimmers, and even a smooth scattered holo. The ones that I have from this collection have a pretty good formula. The holo glitter dries a bit rough and needs a few coats of TC to even out but it is definitely worth it. Finally I also have some of their High Heel Pedicure polish. The bottle for these is the same as the Petite Darling but with a white cap. I believe they all contain a mix of holographic glitter (small and large hex). They only need 1 coat to be opaque but dry rather bumpy so make sure to have a thick TC to even it out.
I love that this product comes with a dropper. It makes it so much easier to add to the bottle of Nail Polish. Unfortunately the dropper is separate and not attached to the lid which is a little inconvenient. Otherwise, this product is awesome. Add a few drops and your Seche Vite comes right back to life! It also helps decrease the shrinkage that old Seche Vite is so known for... Another thing to be aware of, this is a little bit hard to mix with your SV. Especially if it has gotten really thick. I suggest rolling the bottle in your hands for a bit after adding Seche Restore and then letting the bottle sit for a day or so and then roll it again. That seems to be what works best for me!
Nails -Unlisted Brand - Beauty Secrets - Nail Polish Thinner

This thinner does everything I need it too. Add a few drops to old polish and it as good as new! it doesnt really change the way the polish looks or dry, at least not in any I have tried. It is also really easy to mix, which is always nice. The only downside to this thinner is the packaging. It can get a little hard to get the thinner in the NP bottle. I wish it would come with a dropper but oh well. You can always purchase one separately, and at the price of the thinner, you would still be doing really well! One note though, do not use thinner for Seche Vite. It will not work. You really need to get Seche Restore for that.
I got this as a free gift for purchasing California Mango mend hand and cuticle balm at Sally's. I actually ended up hating the balm but loving this mango extreme. It smells divine and does not leave a greasy residue like the balm does. I also really like the squeeze bottle over the tub packaging of the mango mend. Mango extreme is also a few dollars cheaper than Mango Mend so in the end, it's a complete win :)
First the good stuff: this balm smells very good. It is also very hydrating and easy to apply The bad: it leaves your hand with an oily/slick finish yuck! I also hate the tub packaging... I have to dig it out and it always gets stuck under my finger nails... Overall I would not buy this product again. There are much better alternatives (like California Mango Extreme and Lush Lemony Flutter).
This mascara does exactly what I need it do to: curl. I already have a lot of long lashes but they are stick straight. I hate using eyelash curlers but it's the only thing that worked, until I bought this! It was recommended to me by the salesperson at Sephora and I am very glad I shelled out the $20something for this. word of advice though, you will need to wipe off excess before you start applying it. Since the brush is curved, lots of product get left on the brush. If you don't wipe it off with a tissue, you will have some funky looking lashes... other than that, this mascara is a miracle. I no longer have to use an eyelash curler! It is also very versatile. If you want curl, run the brush up on the underside of the lashes. If you want volume, run the brush down on the topside of the lashes. Or do both! Only downside to this beauty is that it is only water resistant, not water proof. There is now a waterproof version available but I haven't seen it in Sephora yet...
BB Cream -Etude - Etude House Precious Mineral All Day Strong BB Cream
asanisimasa148 12/7/2011 8:36:00 PM
I have been using this product for about a year now. I first used shade #2 but recently purchased shade #3. Both work well for me but I prefer #3 because it is a little more opaque. Unlike most BB creams, this brand doesn't turn a greyish tone. It also doesn't oxidize a lot. The color you see when you first put it on is the one you will have all day! This stuff is wonderful for my skin. I had a lot of scars and freckles and this lightened them right up. It's really helpful for anyone who may have acne scars or any other sort of blemishes. I recommend you go on Ebay and find some samples first since the shades they offer might not work for you. You can buy a packet of 5-6 samples for about 3$. If you find a shade that works for you though, you'll definitely want to invest in a full sized bottle.
Treatments -Infusium 23 - leave-in treatment for damaged/unmanageable hair

I received a sample of this through my school and as soon as I tried it, I went back and got about 20 more sample pouches. It made my hair very soft and frizz free. No fly aways anymore! my hair has never behaved this nicely in such dry weather. My boyfriend even noticed how much softer it was. Thats right, he noticed!! haha Overall, this thing is amazing. As soon as I use up all of my samples, I will definitely get a real bottle.
I have a love/hate relationship with this mascara. Yes, it does make my lashes incredibly long. Amazingly long. The brush is also handy to reach the baby lashes in the corners that always get left behind. However, I have to take my time with this product otherwise it has a tendency to clump and smudge. the round brush puts on too much product and makes a mess unless you work slowly This is how I do it: I apply one quick coat and brush it out with a regular spoolie and keep doing that until I achieve the look I want. I use this mascara for special occasions only. The end effect is spectacular but it takes a little time to get there.
I purchased this product online from Sephora. I had heard many good things and was desperate for a good, blendable, and buildable concealer. I got shade #1 which was perfect for me. I have yellow undertones, as does this concealer, so it blended with my skin impeccably. I really like this product. It does a nice job of covering up blemishes and redness. I have to build it up to conceal my under-eye circles sometimes, but it never cakes out on me. one thing, this product is pretty dry so I always use it over moisturizer/tinted moisturizer otherwise you might see some peeling. And no one wants that... a little on the pricey side, but I think it was worth it for me (I am a concealer-a-holic). I have finally found the product that works for me. took long enough! haha

This is by far my favorite lip product The shape is great! the feel is amazing - smooth and makes me feel like I dont have to reapply every 15 minutes The most amazing smell - reminds me of Peachie-O's the gummies... mmmmmmmmmmm
I bought this product several months ago and overall I was pleased with the results. It wasnt a miracle product, I still suffered from hormonal breakouts before my period, but otherwise, it did help clear my skin I personally had no problem with the original packaging but since they have changed it, I suppose this isnt really an issue anymore. The serum was really smooth and fast absorbing. I only applied it to my trouble skin (chin and forehead) once at night because it was a tad bit drying and my sensitive cheeks would not have appreciated it. I just finished my bottle last week and purchased another one. I am a happy customer :)
