I love this hand cream! The smell is a really nice earthy, citrus fragrance. My hands instantly feel smooth after applying this. I don't find it to be too greasy at all. My one complaint is the packaging. All Weleda products are packaged in more earth friendly containers, usually metal or glass. This lotion comes in a metal tube and I loved it at first. However, after a lot of use (the tube was close to empty) I noticed a small hole forming from having been bent back and forth a few times. Now when I squeeze some product out a tiny amount comes out of a hole in the side as well. Not a big deal, just worth mentioning. The price may be high for some but I think it is worth it. My Target sells this and I have found it on sale a few times. Normally it is around $18 but I got it for $15 the other day.

Polishes -Essie - Forever Young

I am shocked by the bad reviews on this polish. I own many reds and this is my all time favorite and has been for at least three years now. This polish works great in the summer and winter and I am never disappointed after using this. Unlike many reviews, this polish does not chip anymore than any other Essie polish (although I always use a very good top coat, so maybe that makes a difference).

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

I have used this topcoat four times and so far I love it. It goes on easy, drys fast and prevents chips for days. Though, I usually get tired of the color and choose to take off my polish before my nails start to chip anyway. My previous favorite top coat was Essie's good to go and this is comparable to it. I decided to try something new because Essie's polish turns thick and becomes very difficult to use after a few months. I have read on many reviews that this polish gets very thick as well and I'm interested to see how long it takes. Like many other reviews my main complaint is the VERY strong odor. I have to turn a fan on or paint my nails near an open window or I instantly get a headache.

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - 3-Step System

I have very acne prone skin and over the last ten years the Pro Active products have been the only thing that can clear my skin. However, I am not happy with how harsh these products are. My skin is always very dry while using this, I have difficulty wearing makeup due to dry flakes. Also, it bleaches my skin (and any clothes or towels used to dry my skin). It also seems that my skin becomes 'addicted' to these products. If I try a different product for even two days, my skin goes crazy with breakouts. About once a year I stop using this to try to find something else that will work that is more gentle. I have not found a better product yet but since I am not 100% happy with this, I will continue to try to find something better.

Moisturizers -Alba Botanica - Natural Acnedote Oil Control Lotion

I was excited to try this product. My skin is very acne prone and the oil on my skin is out of control during the summer. After giving it a two week trial period, I have decided to stop using this product because it breaks me out. Although, I will say that It did help with the oil on my skin. So if you are less acne prone than I am this may be great just to control lotion. Overall, this was a disappointment. I would not buy again.
