I only did my first peel a few months ago with my beautician and I really liked the feel of my skin afterward so I wanted to find something I could do at home. I knew whatever I would find wouldn't be as strong as the stuff my beautician uses so that wasn't a big deal. I had read about GAP before and liked the sound of the product. Because of the slimy, jelly-like consistency its easy to spread around the face without getting alot of wastage product stuck to you fingers which is great. I found it really tingly - it almost got a bit uncomfortable at one point but I just fanned my face with a fan for a bit and it was fine. I left mine on for about 15 mins then removed with cool water and cotton pads. After patting my face dry I applied literally one drop of Trilogy Rosehip oil to soothe my face as I was quite red. This does settle down after about 30-45 mins. The results are good, my face feels smoother and cleaner. This is a great option if your skin is feeling congested or clogged up. I would probably do this fortnightly. Would buy again :)

A good buy! Nice and cheap but still great quality! A nice easy light rose coloured blush. great for everyday wear in the office or on the weekend :) I usually wear MAC springfling, but that can be a bit shimmery, this give me a nice break from anything too exciting. Love it!

Cleansers -Sothys - Normalizing Beauty Milk

okay so this product is expensive for a cleanser, and the packaging could be slightly better so you get out every last bit of the product, but these little things are faaar outweighed by how fantastic this clenaser is. Its lovely milky consistency and amazing active ingredients saved my skin a year ago when i had a bad reaction to soemthing ( dermalogica i suspect) which cause me to have a heaps pussy tiny pimples and blackhead all over my face. After a sothys facial and after using this for the last 6 months my skin is glowy, rested and not aggravated at all. I love this clenaser, it saved my skin and i'll use it forever :)

First of all, this is first Pre-cleanse i have ever used, and i do like it. The consistency is great, and i can feel it moving the oil and dirt form my face, I always thought that the whole idea of a "pre-cleanse" was a bit of a gag, just another thing to buy, but i have noticed a difference with my skin since using it. I got it from David Jones in a pack with a travel size (50ml) special cleansing gel and an active toner too, which are both lovely as well.... would buy again at this point.

Cleansers -Clinique - Liquid Facial Soap - Oily skin

I really like this cleanser. Alot. Which is great because after having an awful experience with cliniques 3-step-system a few years ago i thought i'd never go back to them, but im glad i did. I picked up a big bottle of this for $17 from the clinique corporate store and have been using it for a few months. My skin has never looked better! I used to be so oily with bad breakouts but my skin is calm and clear since using this! I like to pump a small amount into my hands, lather it up and then lighty massage into my face for 1-2 minutes ( i know that seems like a long time but i think thats also what has helped my skin, taking time to cleanse properly) So yes, this is my new HG cleanser - Love it!! The only gripe i have is the smell - its very plain, i like a bit of fragrance, but its a very small price to pay for wonderful clear skin :)

Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - Wetslicks Amazemint tickled pink

This lipgloss is ok, it gives a nice natural colour and the minty tingle is quite fun, but its really nothing to rave about. The stay powers is pretty average. I guess its good for a nice colour and a but of minty-ness, but thats about it, would buy again though if i couldnt find anything else.

This foundation is pretty good. I have super oily skin so i sometimes find its hard to find something that stays on, but this does an ok job. I do have to touch up with powder during the day but i dont mind that. The colour match is great (NC37) and its easy to blend. I like the bottle it comes in and and buying the pump is handy too. I put this on over a primer and use a foundation brush ( i hate using my fingers for foundation ) Will buy this again for sure :-)

I am a huge fan of dry shampoo, in the hot humid climate where i live my hair gets lank and limp after 1 day - i dont like to wash it each day, so i can squeeze and extra day or two when i use this stuff. Its smells kinds floral-y but its works a charm - i used to use the original one but this one is much better as it matches my hair colour!..It make my hair bouncy and full - its awesome!! I took 1 lippie off cause of the smell - it does die down once you put it on your hair though :-)

I bought this from David Jones on sale.. i got 28gs for about $12AUD. I bought it mainly to rub on my hand and sniff and for my temples.. Its a lovely soothing scent. Its smells exactly like it says it would - Sweet Oranges and Spearmint...i dont know it if makes me more cheerful but its a lovely, homely scent that reminds me of orange poppyseed muffins, and snuggling by the fire with a good book ( not that you could do that in Australia, but you can in New Zealand where im from!). Its very delicate and i like the fact its certified organic and against animal cruelty - big bonus in my books. This is my first purchase from Badger, and its made me want to try more of thier stuff - i love it!!

This is a very pretty blush, its nice and sheer and can be built up if needed. I like this for day-to-day wear, it lights up your face nicely and can give you a nice lit-from-within if applied correctly. I this this will be my HG blush if i want a nice sheer wash of colour...would be great to brighten up your face when your hungover or tired!!

This is for the Australis "sheer" foundation. It was ok for the first week or so but then it oxidised and turned a horrible orange colour! plus the tube leaked like crazy! no thanks.

Crème -MAC - Studio Tech

This is a lovely creamy foundation. I use it in a NC25 and it just lovely to blend. I dont use the sponge as i feel it absorbs too much, i use a foundation brush and just blend it that way. Feels nice, not cakey or thick like some creme formulations can, will probably buy it again.

As far as colour and ease of application goes, this is by far the best self tan i have ever used. I tan easily in summer and was looking for something believable, so when i saw this on sale at David Jones, i thought why not? The application MUST be done with gloves, it dries so fast you'll never wash your hands in time to stop them going orange. It takes about 1 minute to dry, and then you just wait for it to develop. Excellent colour as well, not orange or smelly, just a lovely dark tan. Dont be freaked out if in the shower the next morning some goes down the drain, its just the excess stuff. Only cons is its very expensive when not on sale, and it takes ages to fade!

Cleansers -Dove - Cleanser & Toner in One

Over all a very good product. It easily removes makeup ( including mascara) and leaves your face feeling nice and fresh, not tight. Not heavily fragranced either. Im not sure about the cleanser / toner combo, but i have noticed i havent been as shiny since using this. Its very cheap ( cost me $7.00 from priceline) and you only need a small amount to do a good job. Nothing really amazing about it, but for the price its great. Perfect if you want something nice and simple.

Really like this product, the colour is fantastic and the price was reasonable too. One thing i really liked is the pump, which distributes just the right amount of foundation too. Love it, will continue to use it as long as it works.
