Blush -Hard Candy - Lip & Cheek stain

I knew i should've bought Benetint instead, but i bought this one in Baby cause it was cheaper. It's way to bright for my NC35 skin, and it dries quicker than any other stain I've used (and I've used a love, Benetint being the best one). It dries all blotchy too. I usually squeeze a little out and mix it with moisturizer and it helps it go on smoother and it lightens the color (which is really unnatural). I do, however, like the packaging, it's easy to use and handle.

This is my HG lip balm. I use thi during the day and Rosebud's lip salve at night. I love the texture and scent of this balm, it has the perfect consistency. People always tell me that my lips look moist and healthy.

Yuck, I hated this stuff. The sheets left tons of really white powder on my face and hands. I'll be sticking to clean & clear from now on.

Lipstick -Clinique - Long Last Soft Shine in Perfect Beige

I got this as a gwp too, and I like it a lot. Usually, nude lipstick colors look too pale on me and make my lips look purple, but this was perfect and it was very moisturizing (an added plus).

Love this color. I sometimes wear a bronze base with it to bring out the gold. This is a great looking color for smokey eyes or just as a liner.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer

I agree with the previous reviewer. I had a bad experience with this product overall. It didn't even make my pores seem less visible, and it was so expensive. I returned it and opted for a good base instead.

Powder -Urban Decay - Surreal Skin Foundation
rated 5 of 5
arial787 6/29/2003 11:28:00 PM

I loved this stuff. I use it wet and dry and I really don't like foundation because its always flakey and heavy, but with this on i felt like i had nothing on. Th color celection isn't that great, but I have an easy time getting matched, so its not a problem. I liked how the the sponge is purple and its seperated from the powder. The price is reasonable as well, I usually spend around $20-$30 on foundations and powders.

Eyeliner -NARS - Glitter Pencil
rated 5 of 5

I have to disagree with everyone, I loved this pencil. I have it in Danceteria which is a beige color with gold glitter. I read somewhere that Alicia Keyes' makeup artist uses it on her. I line my whole eye with it, very close to the lash line and it brightens my eyes up nicely. The color is subtle enough for the day time.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Glass Shine in Pink Shimmer

The price is a little steep for a drugstore brand. Color is beautiful, but the packaging sucks. It does ooze out everwhere.

I was lured in by the pretty packaging and a magazine recommendation. BUT DON'T BUY THIS! All the sheets are covered by tons of rice powder or whatever it is. And not only does it make you look chalky and ghost-like but the powder also smells really, really bad. For a while I really need oil absorbing sheets and these were all I had and i would sit there wiping the powder off. even 5 bucks for this stuff was totally overpriced.

i got a sample of this and i'm glad i didn't buy the real thing. it was really sticky and made my hair really greasy and i had to rinse my hair right after it had dried and it didn't even get it all out!

Treatments -Biore - Pore Cleansing Strips - Nose
rated 5 of 5
arial787 3/26/2003 11:33:00 PM

i had tried these once before but didn't like them. then i read another reviewer's comments about using the mint julep mask first. i used that first to open up my pores and then i used the strips. it really works. you could also steam your face first to open up your pores.

Foundations -MAC - Hypereal [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5
arial787 3/26/2003 1:14:00 AM

at first i really liked this foundation, but then i realized that (a)it was too shinnery to be used ALL over my face and during the day and (b) it was too dark for me. i already have a problem with my body being two toned. i don't sunbathe so my face is always darker than the rest of my body (just from evreyday sun exposure). the foundation also seemed oily. but i went out one night and decided to use it on my chest to make my chest seem tanner. it worked so well and looked so natural and it was perfect for nighttime because it had a little sheen to it. i would buy this again as a body foundation.
