Treatments (Eye) -Burt's Bees - Repair Serum with Attar of Rose

Great stuff! I have tried other high end products (Dr. Hauschka, Jurlique, Decleor) and this is as good or better for a fraction of the price. My early wrinkles are gone, no breakouts, my skin looks just great. I use it all over my face morning/night. Some nights I switch with Weleda Rose Oil (good stuff too!)

Skincare - Face -Jurlique - Herbal Recovery Gel

It is a very thin liquid. I only use at night, after cleansing my face. One pump seems to be enough to cover my face. I have been using it for about a month now, and can already see results. My skin looks better and the small wrinkles seem to be fading away. At &112 for 100 ml (a little over 3 oz) it is not too expensive, since a little goes a long way. Will definitely repurchase.

Great moisturizer. Does not clog pores nor causes breakouts. Use sparingly, and be sure to warm it between your fingers before spreading it on your face, as it is really thick and won't spread easily (must be the beeswax in it). Smells divine. Overall, great moisturizer, great quality and since a little goes a long way, at $72 for 4 oz it is not very expensive after all!

Fragrances -Hermes - Un Jardin en Méditerranée
rated 5 of 5

Great year round feminine fragrance. Has notes of orange, bergamot, fig tree, cedar tree and other floral notes. The bottle is very pretty. I bought it in Spain for 65 Euro for 100 ml, which does not seem outrageous given the high quality of this item.

Fragrances -Hermes - Eau D'Orange Verte
rated 5 of 5

I started using this when I got pregnant (for some reason, I could only stand citrusy smells back then). I have loved it ever since, and it is truly one of my favourite perfumes. Definitely citrusy, I love the mixture of mint, mandarine, orange and petit-grain. I don´t think it´s masculine (I personally prefer Chanel Egoiste on my husband), it´s a light, fresh, clean, high quality scent. Also, I adore Hermés new perfume, a Mediterranean Garden. Hermés is definitely one of the few perfume manufacturers that stick to artisan and traditional perfume-making techiques, as opposed to synthetic fragrances.

Eyeliner -Dr. Hauschka - Kajal Eyeliner
rated 5 of 5

After using Dr. Hauschka´s products for over a year now and becoming a Dr. Hauschka´s junkie, I recently bought a few of their "decorative cosmetics" (a.k.a. makeup), including an eyeliner, a blush, two lipsticks, a mascara and the cover stick. I was definitely not let down. I LOVE THEM ALL. I must say I like natural looking make up, so if you are looking for something more dramatic (such as MAC), Haushcka is not the line for you. However, if you like people telling you "you look great today" without even noticing that you have blush or eyeliner on, try Dr. Hauschka´s makeup line. The eyeliner is terrific, does not smudge, is easy to apply (without tugging like other ones, such as AVEDA´s), and is very reasonably priced (I paid only 6 Euro for it in Europe!!! In the US it´s about $11-12, still a great value for the quality).

Hair -Dr. Hauschka - Shampoo
rated 5 of 5

I really like the new line of Haushcka´s shampoos (specially the Apricot Shampoo for dry hair and the Daily Conditioner). The Apricot Shampoo is loaded with "precious ingredients" (as they call them on the label) such as rose hip oil, jojoba oil, apple cider, oak extract, burdock, horsetail and does not contain any artificial preservatives, only propolis (a natural antibacterial agent - clever!). Also, it smells delicious. Leaves your hair conditioned and supple, and does not weigh it down. As with everything else of Dr. Hauschks, a little goes a loooong way. Even my husband is hooked. I have bought another bottle because I am too afraid to run out!!

Skincare -Dr. Hauschka - Moisturizing lotion
rated 5 of 5
apmcmillon 3/3/2003 12:52:00 PM

If you like good quality natural products and want to pamper your stressed skin, Dr. Hauschka is a great line. After buying this moisturizing lotion, I abandoned all of my other "natural" brands (AVEDA, Origins) and stocked up on Hauschka´s products. I love how their products are simple (you don´t need to buy twenty different products to layer them every morning in order to get good results), of exceptional quality and smell wonderful. This lotion sinks right into your skin when you put it on, yet your skin stays moisturized all day long, even in harsh environments such as air conditioned offices! Only downfall to this product is that it does not have a sunscree, but I believe it´s better this way, since I can customize it by mixing it with Hauschka´s SFP 15 sunscreen in the winter (this is another wonderful product) and the SPF 22 sunscreen in summertime. I used to have to apply a lot of makeup to cover my blemishes after my pregnancy, but ever since I started using Dr. Hauschka´s products, I don´t even know what foundation is. A definite favorite!

Treatments -Nioxin - Bionutrients
rated 5 of 5
apmcmillon 3/3/2003 12:44:00 PM

This is a great product for the price. You can really feel the difference in your hair after using it (more volume, no hairloss, etc). Plus it contains botanicals (saw palmetto, nettles) that cleanse the scalp from DHT (known to cause androgenic hair loss) and prevent it from environmental damage. And the price is right too.

Conditioner -Nioxin - Scalp Therapy
rated 5 of 5
apmcmillon 3/3/2003 12:41:00 PM

This pairs up with the Nioxin Shampoo to give your hair a remarkable bounce and keep it superhealthy. It´s loaded with good stuff for anybody´s hair (herbs, jojoba oil, vitamins, aminoacids, coenzyme Q-10), really revitalizes it and, if you suffer from hairloss (whether due to seasonal changes, stress or hormonal related), Nioxin is definitely the best product in the market.
