Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

I bought this one and 'macaroon'. Though I am happy with the quality I get from macaroon and the decent colour pay-off, Peach Parfait gives me absolutely nothing to my natural lip colour. I could essentially get the same result from putting on a cheap clear lipgloss. Very disappointed, especially as Emma Stone's add is pretty misleading. Also the amount you get in the package is ridiculous compared to other lipsticks which are cheaper! I don't think I'll be buying these again in a hurry...
As a girl who has very prominent dark circles (south asian) I take my concealor choice very carefully, I picked this up in a rush one day remembering I needed more and I didn't like the colour, it changed into an orangy shade Also since using collection2000 lasting perfection in liquid form I find the stick ones rough and unkind. Its alright for covering the odd spot but only if I'm going to wear a foundation on top, not at all good with TM Overall collection2000 is my HG, spend a LITTLE more for a much better product
Lip Liners -Rimmel - vinyl jelly gloss lip liner [DISCONTINUED]

I got two of these as gifts in the shades 'sorbet' and 'moreish'. I absolutely hate the later, its a horrible lightishpink/silver gloss product and I took it off at once Sorbet on the other hand is beautiful, it applies as a gloss but ofc not sticky at all. The shinyness lasts for around 1.5/2 hours then it dries and I actually love the matte colour it dries too so for me its a winwin, glossy or dry and I will try to find this online so I can get it again :)
This is a review for the black crystals super liner. Yes. What an idiot I am for not picking up the plain black one, I got the crystal one by mistake and at home was thoroughly disappointed it came out more shimmery than black, and I love my liquid eyeliner to be intense black, so for me its un-usable now. Also the price was pretty high considering the fact that I know there are better liners out there for a quarter of this price, but maybe I'm just speaking from a broke students perspective lol The only positive thing about this particular liner was the applicator, it did make it super easy to apply the liner in a short amount of time.
Disappointed with this mascara. It doesn't give the volume I expect, or get from cheaper mascaras my lashes aren't thin or really thick, they're also average in length and I found that this did very little for them. I'll definitely be sticking to my 2000 calorie by MaxFactor.
Tinted Moisturizer -Boots - Natural Collection Tinted Moisturiser

This is the first TM I brought, as I wanted to stop wearing foundation for a while, yet still have light coverage. I found the coverage to be very much 'barely there' which was a little disappointing, but with concealor it doesn't look too bad. Sometimes it comes out streaky for me which is irritating, but generally its an ok product, it does somewhat smooth out your complexion and its a 40ml tube for £1.99 so the value is awesome. But I'm going to be getting back into the world of foundations as I need a more medium coverage base.
Lipstick -Collection 2000 - Lasting Colour Lipstick
apinchofspice 10/16/2012 7:36:00 PM
This is my first ever lipstick and for some reason I missed that it is very sheeny (maybe because these all seem to be about the bubblegum pink one?!) I'm a fan of the matte lip look so I didn't enjoy wearing this, it also came out browner on my lips than the pink swatch that I did in store which was a disappointment. With blanked out lips it looked a little bit, but as for colour lasting, I have to disagree. Positives: its very creamy! Moisturising, didn't feel like I had product on my lips. Doubt I'll be trying other colours though, the world of lipsticks is just waiting for me to delve into and this particular collection has not ticked my boxes.
Beautiful blush, I love the 'highlighter effect' to it but the pink definitely overpowers the 'glowy silverness' of it :) I love this shade for the winter, its the perfect cool blush and I've finally hit pan boohoo, although I am currently reviewing and deciding which new brands of blushes to try to start my makeup collection, ii will be repurchasing this one simply because it is so stunning and the price isn't bad either. Only minor downside is the packaging which is flimy and mines broken, not really an issue though as I don't carry this one around with me.
Blush -Unlisted Brand - Natural Collection - Blushed Cheeks
apinchofspice 10/16/2012 7:07:00 PM
I LOVE THESE! Usually available for 3for2 at boots, so that's 3 blushes for £4! You can't say fairer than that, but what is astounding it the colour payoff that these little beauties have! They're so pigmented and such beautiful colours I simply adore them. I have 3 so far 'peach melba' 'dusky pink' and 'sweet cheeks' but I'll defo be picking up the rest next time I'm in boots in short: Pros: Long lasting Great pigmentation Amazing value for money Non-scented Natural shades Handbag friendly size Cons: (couldn't think of many!) Perhaps an expansion of shades would be nice to see? Cheapish packaging - but for the product itself the cheap packaging doesn't even matter Overall I love these, they're essentials and I'll defo be restocking whenever I need to.
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Jet Black
apinchofspice 10/16/2012 6:59:00 PM
I love how this eyeliner is really soft and that's the main reason why I have re purchased it, its great for tightlining. However I have found that it does smudge and fade from my waterline :( I'm sure there are better liners out there for waterline but for the softness of the pencil, I would buy it again for tightlinng! (Something I can't leave the house without doing)
