I tried 412 (Iced Cocoa) and I really liked the results. My hair was dyed with a dark brown permanent color half a year ago so I have big roots now (my natural hair is a bit lighter). I left this on like the instructions say and it came out exactly like on the photo. It didn't look black though unlike some people here, I was hoping for a darker shade! The color was really pretty and shiny but It's been 2 months since so it has washed out completely by now. I've bought another box and am going use it again! p.s.: I tested the color like it says on the box and left it behind my ear for 48 hours before I dyed. There was no reaction so I felt safe to use it.
Treatments -Ren - Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask
anotherpartofme 11/3/2011 5:53:00 PM
I've been using it once a week since July and at first I was really excited about it because it made my skin look smoother for 2 days and didn't break me out. After all these months I have to admit that overall it hasn't improved my skin at all. It's just the same as before I started using this.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
anotherpartofme 4/23/2011 1:42:00 PM
I got this as a mini primer with my Naked palette and I did a test: I primed only one of my eyelids, applied an UD eyeshadow on both and left it on all day (I was at home so I didn't care). As the day went by, I noticed that my unprimed eyelid was starting to crease more and more while the one with udpp was still perfect! So this works for me! I have kind of oily lids so I really needed a primer and I'm happy I found this.
Concealers -Max Factor - Mastertouch Under-eye Concealer
anotherpartofme 4/11/2011 8:30:00 AM
This is my favorite under eye concealer yet! I've been using it for a year now and I've bought it twice. It blends nicely but I wish it had more coverage and stayed on longer. I have bought other concealers in the meantime but so far this one is the best for my under eye area. And I agree with other reviewers that the packaging is very misleading! I felt bad when I realized it's actually half less. Not a very nice move from Max Factor.
I like using a small amount before blow drying my hair because it makes my hair less fluffy. I had high expectations for this product because it has such a great ratings here but my dark brown hair isn't much shinier after using this and! Shine shock?? LOL! It's a good product but it nothing special for me really. I'd buy it again but it cost me 9 euros and I'm not sure if it's worth it.
Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Effaclar H Cleansing Mousse
anotherpartofme 2/8/2011 6:34:00 PM
I've used this a few times over the past month and I like it mainly because it's a mousse so I don't have to rub my skin too much. It cleans nicely and gives me a fresh feeling on my face. And it hasn't broken me out yet. So far so good!
Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide on eyeliner in bourbon
anotherpartofme 2/7/2011 6:22:00 PM
One of my favorite eyeliners! I used to HATE pencil eyeliners until I bought some UD 24/7 ones. It's really easy to apply and it stays on long on my lash line. The colour is very interesting, not boring at all. Unfortunately it doesn't stay more than an hour on my waterline (that's why I rate it 4) but I don't worry too much about it because I don't like to put eyeliner there anyway, I only tested to see how long would it last.
I love this product because the eye shadows are great quality, beautiful colours plus there are 12 of them! And the price isn't bad at all and I like the double pencil that came with it. I'm a make up newbie so the Naked palette really helped me get started! I'm really glad I bought this.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - 266 Thin Small Angle (Synthetic hair)
anotherpartofme 12/27/2010 1:22:00 PM
I love using this brush for filling in my eyebrows and lining my eyes! It does its job well and it's really easy to use it with cream eyeliner (I use MAC Fluidline). I could never do a nice line with liquid eyeliners so I'm really happy that now I can line my eyes easily with this brush! But it would be better if it was a bit thinner because it can get difficult to make really thin lines. That's why I rate it 4.
Conditioner -John Masters - Honey & Hibiscus Hair Reconstructor
anotherpartofme 12/7/2010 5:41:00 AM
I tried a sample which lasted me for 3 uses and let me tell you something! This product is great! I only used it a few times and it was enough to make my hair much nicer! But keep in mind that my hair is fine and straight so I don't know how well it works on other types.
I think this shampoo is ok. It didn't give me volume like it promised, the smell was weird, the texture was weird (I didn't like the salt)...it just cleaned my hair like a shampoo should. That's all. Nothing special. I don't think I'll buy it again.
I tried this 1 year ago because a friend recommended it and I just hated it! There are better conditioners out there, this one is too difficult to use, there wasn't any difference in my hair and I didn't like the smell. I see some people love it but I really didn't. Sorry LUSH! I like some of your other products much better.
Moisturizers -Sukí - Suki Pure Facial Moisture - Balancing
anotherpartofme 11/5/2010 4:34:00 PM
I've been trying this out for a month now and it breaks me out every single time I use it in the evening! Every time I used this, I woke up with at least 2 new pimples and even a cyst! At first I thought it was just a coincidence but now I am 100% sure. I prefer the Balancing day lotion.
Toners -100 Percent Pure - Facial Toner Peppermint and Green Tea Refresher
anotherpartofme 10/21/2010 8:36:00 AM
This was horrible! it broke me out really bad and irritated my skin! I used it for 2 weeks and then I gave up, switched back to my Suki toner and my skin went back to normal. I'm surprised it has a good rating here. Maybe it's just my skin...it's acne prone and very sensitive. Anyway this is one of the worst toners I ever used. It made my skin really angry lol! And I've noticed it isn't available at 100percentpure.com anymore.
Treatments (Eye) -100 Percent Pure - Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream
anotherpartofme 10/21/2010 8:30:00 AM
Like people have said, this smells so tasty! 100% Natural, 100% Vegan, Gluten free! It moisturizes decently but when I tried this months ago, I had a serious problem with dryness under my eyes so it wasn't moisturizing enough for me. I didn't use it long enough to notice it reduce puffiness and dark circles so I don't know if it really does that. After 2 weeks or less I tried the acai one and that one suited me much better. Depends on how dry your skin is really. If it's VERY dry, don't bother with this eye cream imo. Oh and the dispenser isn't very good. I always ended up with too much cream!
