I adore stains. In fact I rarely use anything else I fell in love with 2 colors of Cover Girl's. When I applied I was pleased with everything until I licked my lips. WOW talk about nasty. I had my guy give me a peck and he was horrified at the flavor. Awesome color..but had to toss. The flavor didnt go away and I even used my Sugar Balm over it and it still was gross. I so wanted to love these.

Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Toleriane Ultra

AMAZING STUFF. I was on a steroid cream for years ( 2 careless dermatologists, now I have thinned and hyper reactive skin), so I have the most sensitive skin, not even the dermatologists (6 so far trying to fix steroid addiction) could find anything to apply to my face from cleanser to moisturizers. I reacted to everything. I seriously tried it all, from drugstore to $100++ big name brands, even presriptions-all made it worse (Avene for Intolerant Skin was the best but nothing healed it like the Toleriane Ultra), over the now almost 7 months of cessation of topical steroid cream. My skin was bright red, very rough texture, irritated, broke out (never had acne before), blistered in places, flaky and so dry. It burned and itched badly. Even cool water hurt. So I read about this product, tried a spot, no reaction. Day 1-3 applied about 3 times a day, by day 4 (day 4 until now, 14 days of use, apply twice daily) my skin was significantly less red, no bumps/blisters/rash, and smooth skin. In 3 full days of use it fixed every single problem. My current dermatologist is shocked. I have been using it for 2wks and he takes pictures each visit, so in comparing the difference is stunning. My skin is healthy, soft, smooth, supple, and has a healthy (not greasy) glow. This product is my savior.

Moisturizers -Avene - skin recovery cream (US name: cream for intolerant skin)

Ok...my story in shortened version. Two very bad derms had me on topical steroid cream for over 8yrs. I was not aware and when I found out it was this I stopped cold turkey. The flare ups came, like rosacea. Told it was steroid induced rosacea. So i had to find something so gentle this was my 3rd and most successful choice. While it is nice and great for my extremely dry skin, I cannot use on my cheeks yet-way too intolerant of anything but vaseline ( i know awful :( ) . So I use this on forehead, nose, eye area and chin. I have much clearer skin now. Flares up have ceased in those areas, acne even cleared. I also take an antihistamine often, almost daily because my skin reacts to everything in the air. I love this cream for my T-zone (very flaky dry and acne prone) and my only complaint is it needs to be a bit more moisturizing. But in all a great cream..I am hoping in another 4-6wks I will be able to use on my cheeks too. Update--well tried on cheeks, major mistake. While it did help my t-zone, still not enough. So I switched to La Roche Posay's Toleriane Ultra-it is like magic for me.
