Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Liquiline Blast in Brown Blaze

The best drugstore eyeliner I have found. Lasts all day. I apply it with a light touch, and make sure it's sharpened, and I do not have problems with it being too thick. Perfect matte opaque brown colors. Love it.

Liquid -Cover Girl - Clean Makeup Oil Control

I don't like a "foundation" look, and I have problems with concealers looking Cakey. I like powder foundation, but sometimes need a bit more coverage to hide red spots. That is what I use this for. I don't use it all over my face, but I use it under my eyes and around my nose, and it works great for me.

Palettes -Too Faced - Naked Eye Kit

I really like these colors. They are cool-leaning and very light, but that is what I look for to wear every-day. I have found it really hard to find the perfect gray-brown colors, and urban decay Naked has way too much glitter/shimmer for me. So I picked this up and I'm glad I did. Lap dance, like a virgin, and unmentionables are perfect gray-brown colors. Stiletto is also a great black, which I don't wear very often but it is great. The other four colors aren't awful but aren't great. I do experience fallout with a few of these colors, but not enough to deter me from using them. Overall, for very light and natural colors, this is the best I have found.

Powders -Smashbox - Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder
rated 3 of 5
annhf24 10/20/2012 12:41:00 PM

I like the container it came in, and the mill so that there's not too much powder loose at one time, but the latch on the container broke after a week. No big deal, just makes it difficult to travel with. I can't decide how I feel about this powder. It's not good, not bad. It's just a powder. It's not really a foundation to use on its own, but I use it to set my BB cream sometimes and it does work nicely for that. There's nothing really wrong with it, it's just too expensive for what it does (or doesn't do). I liked bare minerals better.

Blush -L'Oreal - Magic Souffle Blush
rated 5 of 5

I really like this blush. It's great for a drugstore cream blush. I tried the Maybelline bouncy blush, and the colors were awful and disappeared within an hour. I have this in cherubic, and it is the perfect color for me. It blends in beautifully also, leaving a really natural pinkish tone on my cheeks. It's not sticky either, which I've found with some cream blushes. I haven't noticed any of the glitter that others are talking about.

I don't think this has done anything for me. The drugstore stuff works better.

Skincare - Face -Murad - Acne-Prone Skin Formula
rated 1 of 5
annhf24 10/20/2012 12:20:00 PM

This made my oily and acne-prone skin worse. I tried to make it through the "purging" period, but it lasted 6 weeks and I gave up. As soon as I switched to something else, my skin cleared up.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)
rated 2 of 5

The scent was very strong, and it just didn't do anything for my oily/acne-prone skin. I actually felt greasier after using it, and I would wake up in the morning with greasy skin. It does seem to be very gentle, but it is just not for me.

Cleansers -Aura Cacia - Grapeseed Oil
rated 5 of 5
annhf24 10/20/2012 12:10:00 PM

I have been battling oily skin for the last three years. This stuff is seriously amazing. I remove makeup with an oil cleanse mix (castor oil, grapeseed, jojoba, and a drop of tea tree), then use my clarisonic with Neutrogena acne wash (the amber colored liquid), then use a little grapeseed oil with a little jojoba oil on my face after for moisturizer. Seriously, it did not clog my pores, and I barely use oil blotters anymore. It's that good. Anyone with oily skin should give it a try, it completely changed my skincare and makeup routine, and made my skin beautiful.

BB Cream -Boscia - BB Cream SPF 27 PA++
rated 4 of 5
annhf24 10/20/2012 12:03:00 PM

I really wanted to like this. The "glitter" a lot of people talk about did not bother me at all, I didn't notice it. It didn't oxidize into a weird color either, which is a problem I have with a lot of foundations and tinted moisturizers. But, it is not good on oily skin. It just made me look really, really greasy, and it accentuated any large pores I had. It would be a great product for someone with dryer skin, especially in the winter.

BB Cream -L'Oreal - Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream
rated 3 of 5
annhf24 10/20/2012 12:01:00 PM

I can't decide how I feel about this product. I love the way it feels on my skin. I got "light", and it blends in really beautifully with a nice matte finish. I had been using Boscia BB cream before this, which looks really greasy on my skin, so I do prefer the finish of this product. But, it turns really orange. It's not awful on me, because I still have some gold left in my skin from my summer tan, but I don't think it would look good if I were any paler. Also, it may or may not have been causing breakouts. I don't think I'll continue using it to find out.

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Blush 831E Pearlescent Pink
rated 5 of 5

For $3, you can't ask for much from the packaging. The blush itself is great though, highly pigmented, and I have acne-prone and oily skin, and it does not exacerbate either.
