Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

The faults of the Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait is not to be contributed to the lip butter line itself. I own other colors of that range, and many are a marginally better product than Peach Parfait. First off, the formula of all the lip butters are smooth and very pigmented; Peach Parfait is an exception. This Lip Butter excels in some of the same areas as the other lip butters do, however. The packaging is lovely and convenient, with a very plush looking container. All the lip butters are quite smooth and easy to apply. The formula is smooth but the little glitters in the lip butter make it grittier than the other lip butters. While the grittiness and tolerable it is quite irritating as no one wants a very artificial feeling on their lips. It's not quite moisturizing, but not drying either- Just like the other lip butters. This color is however very beautiful, definitely a pink and not a peach by any means. It is a rosy pink with a TON of golden shimmers. While it is a very flattering color, the glitter is nearly excessive and remains on your lips even if you wipe of the lip color. Glitter can travel all over your face if you're not careful, and that precaution can become quite a nuisance! So in the end, NO i would not by this SPECIFIC color of the line, but I would repurchase other from the Revlon Lip Butters because of smooth application, the lovely packaging, and the flattering color.

Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

This foundation is great and moisturizing! However, there are some down sides to this otherwise perfect product. First of all, it smells TERRIBLE. Like extremely chemical/plastic-ey; very off putting during application. The packaging while convenient and effective isn't as "tight" as I would like. Product will get stuck in the cap if you press the tube even when closed. I can't use it daily as it will break me out unfortunately. I use the color "Nude" which is slightly dark for my rather light complexion, but once it is blended in it looks fine. Otherwise, it's a smooth creme, with a luminous glow. It has a perfect amount of coverage for a tinted moisturizer. It will cover discoloration but not completely conceal dark marks or large blemishes. It's somewhat pricey, but it's reasonable considering other products and the performance. Otherwise I find it lasts long, is lightweight and very clean looking. Supremely natural which is my number one priority! It's perfectly moisturizing and comes off easily. Would repurchase despite it's flaws, because of its outstanding performance!
