I brought the shade BE-C which is quite a good match to my skin colour, it stays for a the whole day and give me a lovely smooth bright complexion. It is very light which is great for the summer and so it only provides a light coverage. I think just applying this liquid foundation is enough as it give you a really natural matte finish so there isn't the need for powder on top. Although I have freckles so I have powder as well - and of course it doesn't cover up all - if it does then it'll look heavy.
Powder -Kanebo - Revue Still Keep Pact Powder Foundation

Revue was the first powder foundation I've used and it's still my favourite. At first it brought it on ebay and I can say I've tried most of the shades except for the D range. I am currently using BE-C as I am yellow toned, I can use OC-C too but BE-C looks more natural on me. I used the old Still Keep and the pearl-on version as well - the pearl-on which it shines a little like pearl - it's not too noticable. This powder is light and it is very smooth, compared to the Autumn/Winter version I could feel the difference with this being a little drier for the Summer months. I am still using the old case to put this powder in as the cases for these Still Keep powders looks bulky although they look more pretty.
I guess my skin doesn't go well with most of the Freshel white C range. After about a week of using this product my skin was very dry, and an added bonus big red inflamed spots. So I can't really recommend this, the only thing that was good was it left a kind of minty cool feeling afterwards.
From the same company which produces Dejavu Fiberwig, but this mascara has no fibers which doesn't lengthen as much as Fiberwig but it does volumise. One of the best things is that it doesn't smudge and can be easily removed with warm water just like Fiberwig. In my opinion this makes my lashes look much thicker so a little less natural than Fiberwig. Compared also to Fiberwig the brush head is a lot smaller and cuter.
I quite like the cute sturdy pot it comes in. The colour I brought was BE-1, it's a nice colour as a base and looks good on its own - not too intense, its very shimmery and you can build up the density easily. The texture is smooth and is easy to apply. Only a little is needed each time so this pot will last a long time. I'm not too sure on buying other colours as the pastel colours looks very nice but one of these pots will last for ages.
First thing I noticed that it had big brush compared to others but it's actually not that bad to use. After application it does lengthen my lashes and give a quite natural look. The best of this mascara is that it doesn't smudge - it is waterproof in a way such as if you've got teary eyes or rub it it won't smudge but of course it'll flake a little. In the end of the day you can easily remove it with warm water.
As the name suggests it suppose to cover pores. For me it did cover my pores and making them less obvious.I quite like the feel of it as it goes on smoothly and gives matte finish. It did help to control oil as usually I apply makeup in the morning and by noon my face is slightly oily and makeup start to melt, but using this coat it made my makeup last a little bit longer. As for the bad points it leaves my skin dry - after 2 days of using it I had flaky skin on my nose. The results are not that marvellous - it covers pores but you can get this effect with powder (if your pores aren't that big), it controls oil - not too much that I'll buy this again and it dries your skin out.
Skincare - Face -Kanebo - Faircrea UV Whitening Night C Powder

It has an English leaflet inside - strange as it is a Japanese product. The main features as it says are: a whitening facial pack effect, Vitamin C to control melanin, seals in moisture, keep skin smooth and pleasant with silky feel, maintain skin's ability to resist UV rays, condition skin to allow withstand blotches and no perfumes or colourant. You apply at night as the last step of your normal skincare routine which usually is after your night cream/moisturiser.
I have been using this product for a year now and on my 3rd refill. The one thing I like about this product is that it leaves your skin smooth and because I hate having cream/moisturiser on my pillow at night. I have noticed my skin is more fairer but I have been using other whitening products as well. In the ingredients it states there is oil control powder but in the morning I feel that my face is still as oily as not putting it on. I like the point that it keeps the moisture of your night cream in but it doesn't block your pores.
In Hong Kong I got the refills for HK260, which isn't expensive as it is 30g and can last a few months.
I brought the colour BE-164 which was the colour the model wore for the Revue ads. I was looking for a more natural lip colour and something similar to Majolica Majorca's RD322, this was the colour I was looking for. The colour is like my lips but with a hint of pink, it doesn't have any obvious glitters and shimmers which makes it good for normal work wear. I feel that it does moisture the lips. The price is a bit too expensive but considering the quality I will buy another.
One tube has lasted me for ages. It has made my lashes thicker and longer, it is more noticable on my bottom lashes, but I did see it made a difference on my top lashes. The brush is very hard and I would say I wouldn't buy this again purely because of the brush, the dread of poking that in my eye overcomes the results. Maybe it's my skills but 9/10 times the brush touches my eye area and it hurts, esp. if you apply to your bottom lashes.
Lipstick -Kanebo - Testimo Truememory Rouge lipstick in PK-222
annashan 4/11/2006 3:59:00 PM
The colour is quite a natural colour but slightly redder/deeper, and the glitter show up very much. In my opinion there is too much glitter for normal work wear, it is pretty though. It is unscented, moisturising and soft when applied. I'm not very good at judging the durability, but when the gloss is gone after eating and drinking the gliiters still remained for some more time. Although it seems slightly expensive but I might buy it again in other colours.
Blush -Kanebo - Lavshuca Cheek Color Select [DISCONTINUED]

The colour I brought was PK-1. One of the reasons I got it was because it looked cute with different colour stripes, and not because I needed it (The same goes with T'estimo Mix Change Powder.....). You can apply the first 2 colours as a highlight and the last three as a blush or just mix it together and apply. The final colour on my face is a very light shimmery girly pink. The brush feels very soft and light, it makes the powder glide on very smoothly.
In Hong Kong it was HKD43. The packaging looks cute, and this was the only item I got from the Tiffa range. On the packaging it says you can use it as a mask at night time to keep the moisture in or you can use it as a lipbalm. I use it as a lipbalm and at night time, it leaves you lips glossy and it's not sticky. In terms of texture it is smooth and slightly thick. The smell is light and pleasant and smells like peach - Japanese peach which reminds me of the peach sweets you can get in Japanese stores.
Cleansers -Kanebo - Freshel White C Deep Cleansing Gel
annashan 3/3/2006 10:56:00 AM
On a recent trip to Hong Kong I got this cleansing gel as the soap was very good and Fancl's Mild Cleansing Oil is expensive. It seems to me that if you get it from Watson's (in Taiwan or Hong Kong) it's under the name 'It Be Switch' instead of 'Freshel' and for It Be Switch the ingredients is listed in English whereas for Freshel it's in Japanese. Nevertheless I think the product is the same except that It Be Switch is for overseas market ie Taiwan and Hong Kong. As for the product price in Watson's (It Be Switch) it's HKD70, and in Bonjour (Freshel) it's HKD32, I guess because Watson's is a distributor whereas Bonjour an importer. Compared with Fancl's cleansing oil, this gel is obviously harder to spread, and because of this you need lots of this gel to cover your face and massage around your eyes. In my opinion it didn't remove mascara as effectively as Fancl's, but as Freshel soap is used as the next step in the end makeup is gotten rid of completely. As it is cheap I will buy again, but looking at the Japanese website they seem to have discontinued this cleansing gel and replaced it with a cleansing oil and cream.
The fibers seems thick like strands of hair which to my lashes it didn't stick on properly. I find that comb brushes are hard to use and this was no exception for this base - as it left a thick layer on my lashes and the grey base really stood out even applying black mascara on top. I'm not an experience mascara user but this was bad compared with Dramatical Eyes base. The fibers in Dramatical Eyes was really light compared to this and was much easier to use.
