Does anybody think the current White Linen is TOTALLY DIFFERENT than how it used to be???? I have a friend who used it in the late 80's early 90's and I remember it VIVIDLY... but when I smell it in stores now, it's not the same. Am I alone in this opinion? Did they change the formula?

Fragrances -Gucci - Gucci Rush

The packaging of this perfume is the WORST EVER!!!!!!!!! I cannot do justice to how much I HATE the rectangular plastic "thing" it comes in. That said, I DO like the fragrance quite a bit. I wore it a lot when I was in my early 20's. I found it to be (and still find it to be) quite unique and sexy. Wish it came in a cuter/sexier bottle. :-(

I sprayed this on awhile back and HATED it... however, today I was at the mall with my daughter and she wanted me to put some on her arm (she's only 5... ) because it's called ANGEL. I reluctantly agreed and put a teeny, tiny spray on her. It was not great at first, but seriously, I couldn't stop smelling her arm! It was divine! I'm going to have to go back and actually try it on myself again and wear it around for a day. I can see why people love it...

Skincare - Body -Palmers - Skin Therapy Oil

I bought this for my tummy because I'm 6 months pregnant. With my first child I had no stretch marks, and I don't want to get any with this one!! I used the Palmer's Massage Lotion before, and wanted to try the oil. Well, I put the Skin Therapy Oil on my hips, where I have some puberty stretch marks, and I seriously think it's helping them fade a little! I just liked the feel of the oil and thought I'd give it a try all over, had no confidence that anything could fade stretch marks. Well, it's been a week and a half or so, and I notice a difference. Granted, they weren't bad and I have very pale skin, but I'm hooked! Great product, smell is okay but fades fast which is nice. Love it!!!

Blush -The Body Shop - Brush On Beads - Buff

I LOVE this product!!!! I also have Brush on Radiance by The Body Shop, but I think this is superior. I feel like my face looks natural and radiant all day, longer than when I don't use it: I apply foundation, then a tiny bit of matte powder, then this over it plus my regular blush. Lasts a long time, too -- HIGHLY recommended!!!!!!!!!

WOW... this stuff smells AMAZING!!!! It is almost identical in fragrance to my old favorite body wash from Bath and Body Works, Grapefruit and Peppermint, from their Aromatherapy line. LOVE IT!!!!

Bronzers -L'Oreal - Bronzer Body Tinted Gel (One day)

THIS is the product I've been waiting all my adult life for!!!!!! It is a tanner that lasts only one day, so I guess you could call it more of a stain. It washes away with soap and water, does not smudge or get on your clothes, smells good, and looks fantastic. It is the most realistic looking product I have used, not orange-y at all, and the color builds the more you apply. It also dries quickly and does NOT rub off. I HATE the self-tanner smell, and have never found one that didn't reek -- NEVER. I love this because I can apply it just where I want it and it will wash off in the shower the next day. THANK YOU, L'Oreal for making this amazing product, please don't stop!!!!!!! A+++++!

Skincare - Body -Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Gel Body Oil

I tried this because it was raved about in this month's Allure. I'm disappointed -- it just "sat" on top of my skin and didn't soak in after a LOOOOONG time. It didn't make it softer, either. It did give it a pretty sheen, but it was so greasy. I guess I should know that if mineral oil is the first ingredient, it will be greasy and sit on top of your skin. :-( I didn't like the smell, either.

LOVELY!!! Makes me happy when I smell it! The drydown is delightful, and I love the fresh, girly top notes. :-) EDIT: On an extended try, I don't like it a bit. Very sweet and cloying... heavy. Glad I just sprayed and didn't buy!!!!!!!! 2 lippies only.

Love it. This is one of those that I keep coming back to. To me, it smells classic, and FRESH, but sharp in a good way. Why do they take all the good ones away... :-(

DELIGHTFUL... of course they always discontinue the great ones, right? I love Truth... it is so fresh and clean, but sexy, too. I wore it when I first got married, 9 years ago, used up most of my 2nd or 3rd bottle and forgot about it... but I rediscovered it again recently and can't believe I didn't repurchase. Unfortunately the last bit of the bottle I had left is now rancid, so I am eagerly awaiting my huge 3.4 oz. bottle from Beauty Encounter... counting down the days. Thank goodness for the internet! :-)

Ugh... horrors. I ordered this on-line because of the awesome reviews, and it was sold out at the stores I checked at. It ended up smelling JUST like original Heavenly to me, and I don't like Heavenly that much. I like it on others, but not on me. SOOO disappointed. Fortunately V/S has a good return policy. :-( Alas, once again I learn: sniff before you buy...

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

My HG foundation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOOOVE this stuff. I'm a shade 01. I wish it were slightly pinker, but the coverage is phenomenal, and is so soft and silky. It still looks nice at the end of the day. This stuff is AWESOME and the price is right! :-)

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer

LOVE IT!!!!! Well worth the price! I found the PERFECT match for my very fair, pinky skin (NW15) and love the coverage. I have trouble finding a good concealer because they all look yellow on me. I will DEFINITELY re-purchase this! I highly recommend this concealer -- for undereye circles, blemishes, etc. THE BEST!!
