Eye Primer -Lime Crime - Candy Eyed Eyeshadow Helper

Love this primer and with mu normal lids i find this works better then Too Faced Shadow Insurance for logevity and colour intensity. This is a product I recommend working fast with to insure that the eyeshadows really set to the stick base quality of this primer. This and the Original primer potion are my favorites. it not a cheap primer for the amount you get but it works really well.
Lipstick -Revlon - ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick
anibee 8/3/2011 9:52:00 AM
Like all longwear products this will not impart moister the lips so don't expect it to act like a band-aid for your already dry lips like most lipstick do. It wears like a Lip Tar although a tad more sheerer. The longwear ingreident is dimethicone in this that make it a bit tacky when your press your lips together but it's not that sticky when you press your lip to something else like a drinking glass. I notice a tiny bit of colour fade after 16 hour but the product over stay the same even consistency. Also if your looking for a longwear blush try these out with a brush. ^_^

This is a dupe to Urban Decay's X shadow. The texture of these shadow are excellent. The price is on par for a Make Up For Ever and are the same size. I use this shadow with my everyday looks and the tone is very flattering on hair skin individuals.

Ugg! I wanted these to work but my non sensitive teeth are killing me on the second day! They came off great but after 3 hour my teeth got very painful I could not sleep well and the still are after 12 hour. I will not I am fallowing the instruction and after the second day my teeth are slightly less yellow.
Eyeliner -NYX - Studio Effect Liquid Liner (all colors)
anibee 4/12/2011 2:34:00 PM
My friend was on the hunt for a liquid liner during IMATS Toronto and found these in the massive booth NYX put up. Never heard of the product before but she was extreme impressed with the tester and pick one up. Then I pick one up in Extreme Black after she pointed it out. I loved it so much I later bought Extreme Coffee, Extreme Purple and Extreme Smokey Grey off of nonpareilboutique.com which is were I but most of my NYX items. I had struggled with MAC Liquidlast since the brush was so flimsy and I have shaky hands to being with. It was also imposable to get off even with MAC's Gently Off Eye & Lip Makeup Remover which I found worked fine for their Fluidline. These Studio Effect Liquid Liner although not claiming to be waterproof are indeed waterproof and smudgeproof when dry. They can also be removed with soap and water but any makeup remove works as well. The brush is also firmer which is a HUGE plus in my book.
Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - Yaby Cosmetics - World of Pearl Paints

I'm planning on buy this palette next year after using for the shades. it is expensive individually but the product quality and pigmentation is phenomenal. I know the size of the pans through people off but I ask you have you ever finished full size eyeshadow pan unless you us the same 3 shadows every day (look at you MAC). It's defiantly and investment but I regret buying my Urban Decay palette over these.
Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder
anibee 12/17/2010 10:25:00 AM
Having tired all cheaper version of pure 100% silica powder, I'm not sure how they mill their's but there is a difference in the finish. It still get 1 Lippie off since it is rather expensive for a one ingredient product but it works really well. Most finishing powders contain silica as one of the ingredients for those that find just silica powder shifts the tone of your foundation look into a setting powder that contains it for the same benefit but in a similar tone to your skin for personal use. This however is the most transparent setting powder on the market and for an MA this may be all you need in your kit. If you are makeup artist or live in the area of a IMATS I recommend picking up there for a discount.
Eye Makeup Remover -Marcelle - Gentle Makeup Remover for Sensitive Eyes
anibee 10/12/2010 1:07:00 PM
I have the old packaging so it's nice to see they added the newer pop top. Marcelle have been showing up in drugstores lately and is readily available. this can go as cheap as $12 at 5 fl oz compared to MAC Gentle Off eye&lip makeup remover which is $21.50 at 3.4 fl oz. It does leave a film after using it. I has zero scent and not dyes are added for colour and has similar ingredient to MAC's Marcelle AQUA/WATER/EAU, CYCLOMETHICONE, PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM/MINERAL OIL/HUILE MINÉRALE, ISOHEXADECANE, HEXYLENE GLYCOL, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, CAMELLIA OLEIFERA LEAF EXTRACT, GLYCERIN, CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT, SODIUM CHLORIDE, HYDROCHLORIC ACID, DMDM HYDANTOIN, LAURYL METHYL GLUCETH-10 HYDROXYPROPYLDIMONIUM CHLORIDE, SODIUM METHYLPARABEN, POLOXAMER 188, DISODIUM EDTA, PEG-4 DILAURATE,
This new One Step Correct is an interesting product since I've used similar one from different companies over the years in a pressed compact form. It turned my fair skin white (kind of crazy!) so I didn't purchase it at Sephora. It dose what it says, "An innovative, three-in-one serum that contains three color-correcting, moisturizing brighteners for flawless looking skin" It's not a primer however and is useful for day ware if you just want to even out your skin tone without foundation. I'm currently using Mineral Wear® Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder from Physicians Formula to do the same job however but if you want a liquid version then give this a shoot.
I fall off the mac charts are around NC10 (olive fair) and I've been loving all the coral lipstick shades that have been coming out this year from MAC, Fresh Salmon, Ever Hip, and Cyndi. Toxic Tale I thought would round this out but it looks like I've been painted with this one even when I sheer it out. The shade is too intense to look flattering. N_20's and up should be fine but this colour will take over your face if your fair skinned which is unfortunate since I wanted to love wearing this shade. T-T
I like the looks of this product but found it a bit to glowy compare to some of the MAC MSF. I like my glow to be more subtle and admittedly I don't like half of the MSF's for that reason as well. A nice dupe though.
I glad I bought this despite the extra cost of $30 to get it to me from Sephora.ca to Canada it was worth it. I really hope that Virgin (nude satin) because a permanent colour since it the perfect balance of mate and glow for the brow bone.
Eye Shadow -Joe Fresh Style - eye shadow - all colours
anibee 8/2/2010 12:42:00 PM
These shadow onl work well with a primer so keep that in mind when you purchase them. Pigmentation is fairley descent from a drugstore brand. I picked up the Eye Shadow Trio in Forest (forest green, smoke black and ice blue). The forest green and smoke black are both matte and had the longest stay power, the ice blue is pure frost and would vanish after a short wile without a base.
Makeup Brushes -Joe Fresh Style - Retractable Lip Brush
anibee 8/2/2010 12:33:00 PM
This style of retractable lip brush is my favorite and I usually have to hunt them down online to purchase one. It's around $8 but with shipping this brush come up to $12 when I order them from an online reseller. Thi brush has standard taklon bristles. When retracted into the body and dust cover slides up to close the hole the brush pops up from.
Polishes -Joe Fresh Style - Nail Polish - ALL COLOURS
anibee 8/2/2010 12:21:00 PM
I was excited to see these in store with the vibrant colours selection. The 3 I got were coral, pastel mint and the top coat. Both of these shade apply very unevenly, and would settle into any low areas and ridges. it take about 6 layers to final get an even tone even with using a good base coat. the Top coat is ok but not great. Revlon makes a better product for the same price. Save your money and spend it on better brands like Nicole, OPI, China Glaze.
