Lotions/ Creams -Victoria's Secret - Body Creme with Shea Butter in Warm Embrace

This product is in a tin container that is 7 oz. I got it on sale with a 10 dollar off coupon. It has an almost mousse but thick texture that is white in color. I finished up the whole tin in about 1.5 months with daily use. So, it goes pretty fast. It is a strong fragrance, so those who are sensitive, please stay away from this product. It has a scent that is vanilla and floral in my opinion. It is extremely moisturizing. One Con is that I would sometimes get little red bumps on my legs like I was having a little reaction to the product or I was breaking out. That was individual to me, so I did not let it affect the score because other than that I loved the product because of its moisturizing properties. If you have sensitive skin or acne prone skin on your body, then this product is not for you. If you loved scented, thick body lotions for dry skin, then this is for you. I have another tin to use so I say yes to repurchasing because I bought two.

Shave Products -eos - Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream in Vanilla Bliss

I used up the entire bottle of this and while I like the pump and the packaging the actual product did not perform well. It is very hard to spread about and with water or wet skin it just easily washes away. Also, I used it up way faster than any other shaving cream. It impedes a close shave and sometimes it becomes tacky and sticky. I don't like the texture at all. Also, it is very wasteful because the product easily washes away. It is too expensive for how fast I used it up. I liked the smell but it was just too oily and tacky for my texture taste

I know this is for "men" but I wore out one of the razors and thought i would do a review on it! This stuff is amazing for shaving everything because the head is so flexible. I am allergic to certain shaving creams so sometimes I don't use any and with soap this glides over and I do not have any cuts or bumps. This helped me provide with the more smooth and easiest shave. Ladies do not be turned off cuz it is for men! It is way better than any womens razor that I've used!

Treatments (Eye) -Olay - Professional Pro-X Eye Restoration Complex

I used up a bottle of this product and I think it did a fairly good job. However, I do not have wrinkles, but I have fine lines. It is not super moisturizing but it was great for making my eye concealer glide on effortlessly. It is not greasy. I didn't see any miracles, but I liked how it made makeup glide on better and I looked a little bit more awake when I woke up. My under eye area is dry and this products what it needs to make it not look flakey. I use differin and retin A and this helps with the flakes under and near the eyes. if you are looking for something to do miracles, then I do not think this is your product. I could not tell you what it does for wrinkles, but I think it is a good preventative eye cream for younger eyes. I think it is quite expensive for what it is and in the drugstore though. I said I would repurchase because it is great for MU and making me look more awake

Shampoo -Organix - Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy
rated 1 of 5
angiee0215 3/28/2013 1:25:00 PM

I used up this shampoo in the last 4 months or so. I think it does a good job of cleaning, but I believe it faded my hair color due to the C14-18 Olefin sulfonate and it dried out my hair pretty bad. It made my hair feel like straw. When I started to notice this, I used another shampoo and noticed a huge difference in just one use not using this. It also made my hair very flat and lack of volume. My hair type: wavy, colored, long and thick. I will not be repurchasing.

Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Dry Skin Therapy Calming Creme
rated 5 of 5
angiee0215 3/28/2013 1:17:00 PM

I used up a 1 oz bottle of this, well my boyfriend did. He gets these very dry raised patches in the wisconsin winters and I had him apply this every night only on the patches. Over night, it would make the patches softer and less raised. After about the end of the bottle, they were almost completely gone. I think this stuff is amazing for extremely dry winter skin. I used it once on myself and I woke up the next day with very soft skin. If you are just looking for a daily moisturizer and you do not have harsh winters, then this might not be for you and might feel greasy. However, if you live in harsh winters or get extremely dry patchy skin, then I think this is good for you to use. He has repurchased!

Treatments -Redken - Extreme Anti Snap (new formula 2011)

So I finished two bottles of this stuff and I think it is time to be reviewed. About my hair: it is thick wavey and it has been bleached three times and dyed over that. You can only imagine the damage my hair has. This stuff has saved my hair. After I used up my first bottle, I didn't rebuy and I noticed my hair having more breakage and becoming more stretchy when wet. Then, I bought another bottle and started using it again and I have so much less breakage. It is one of those things that you really notice when you stop using it. I think this product is a must for bleached hair. I do not use it after every time I shower. I use it about 2 times a week and about 3-4 pumps per use for my thick hair that is halfway down my back. Also, only put this in on damp hair! It is amazing. My HG product for damaged hair. So, if you have bleached damaged hair, please give this a try! I can't live without it.

Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer
rated 5 of 5
angiee0215 3/27/2013 9:04:00 AM

I love this concealer! It has some flaws, but there is no perfect concealer and this one (out of all my high end ones except maybe it cosmetics bye bye under eye is a strong competitor) is the closest to perfect in my eyes. Me: I am NC15 with acne prone skin that is dry in the winter and oily in the summer. Right now I am dry because it is basically still winter out. I have dark circles and redness. The Product: This covers up my dark circles 90% and I would say my circles are medium - not the worst but not the best. W1-2-3 is my perfect match to my skin and under eye area. It covers my redness and my under eye circles (mostly) I don't expect a product out there to cover them 100% without looking cakey. This creases a little bit because it is so creamy (so those who are older than me please take note!) I am only 22 with a few fine lines, so the creasing doesn't bother me because the creaminess and coverage is there. I find no tugging on my under eye area and my under eye area is dry at the moment but please make sure to apply an under eye cream before hand or there will be tugging! and let the product warm up a bit before applying. I don t need to because my apartment is about 80 degrees at all times (our heat is unlimited & free!) Pros: -Creamy -wide range of colors and undertones -cheap -lasts all day without fading -good for medium darkness -looks like skin Cons -can settle into lines -doesn't cover them up 100% (like I said close to 90%) -need to let it "warm up" before applying -may not be for super dry aging eyes due to the creasing and possible tugging but moisturizing first I found no problems but I do not have wrinkles I did not take off any lippies because it works for me and what my needs are even though the product isn't perfect and I will definitely be repurchasing!

Moisturizers -Simple - Replenishing Rich Moisturiser
rated 1 of 5
angiee0215 3/14/2013 9:36:00 PM

This product is horrible for acne prone skin. First of all, it doesn't feel rich. It almost feels like a slime that just sits on top of your skin and doesn't sink in. I never felt moisturized after using this. Also, I used this and by the end of the day I have white heads all over my face that are also red and swollen. If you are acne prone or sensitive I advise you NOT to buy this product. I will not be buying this again. Additionally, I found that it burned and turned my face beet red upon application, which I thought was weird for a product meant for sensitive skin.

Eye Makeup Remover -L'Oreal - Clean Artiste
rated 5 of 5
angiee0215 12/23/2012 12:09:00 PM

I just used up a whole bottle of this and I have two backups already because of how much I love this stuff. I actually use this all over my face because any cleansing oil has broke me out. This is oil free and while it does leave a residue, the residue has never broken me out. What I do is I use one cotton ball for my eyes and then I get another one for my face. It takes off all of my face produces. This is the best makeup remover I have ever used and I plan to keep buying this forever!!! So I hope they never discontinue it or I would seriously be sad 1/28/13: I still use this daily and I am 1/4 the way through my second bottle after a month of daily use. I love this stuff

Treatments -Olay - Professional Pro-X Wrinkle Smoothing Cream
rated 2 of 5
angiee0215 12/16/2012 11:59:00 AM

I am acne prone and have sensitive skin. This did not cause breakouts, but it caused my skin to burn. It worked about halfway through the jar and then for some reason it started making my skin itchy and burning. Then, I started using it on my neck. It was fine for 2 weeks and then it started itching and burning. So, I used the rest of the jar on my body. I don't like the jar to dip my fingers in and I feel like it is expensive for a drugstore product. I used up the whole jar but mostly on my body. I didn't have enough to use on my body to know if it would start itching and burning. If you have super sensitive skin, I would stay away from this product. If not, then it works great at moisturizing and being non greasy.

Bronzers -Too Faced - Milk Chocolate Soleil
rated 5 of 5
angiee0215 12/10/2012 1:28:00 PM

HG bronzer. I have bought so many high end and DS bronzers and this is what looks extremely natural on me. I have had the problem of bronzers looking dirty, fake or too warm/orange. This is the perfect color. I have red hair, NC 15 yellow skin and green eyes. This doesn't pull orange and looks very natural. I have used it everyday since buying it a month ago and it barely even looks like I have used it. I will buy this again and again and again and I hope to GOD they do not D/C it or I will cry update: 1/8/2013 still love this stuff! HG x98094809809 :)

Liquid -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20
rated 5 of 5
angiee0215 11/19/2012 12:40:00 PM

Hg status. I am NC15 red hair green eyes and the lightest shade in 010 is a perfect match for me. I have oily skin in the summer and dry skin in the winter. I use this all wear round. In the summer I use about a dime sized amount and set it with powder. In the winter, I use about a penny sized amount and do not set it. I have a few acne marks and uneven skin tone due to redness. It covers up the red very well and it makes me look glowy. It is moderate coverage, so if you have cystic acne or scars, you would need a separate concealer. It has never broken me out. So, if you have uneven skin tone and want moderate coverage and you are NC15 or darker and you want a glowy look then this foundation is for you. However, if you are lighter than NC15, want full coverage, or a matte look, then this foundation is not for you. I think it is on the expensive side of a drugstore foundation, but I buy it during sales and I think it is high end quality. It lasts all day for me. I have to remove it at night very well. The only thing I have to say about it that is bad (other than the 13 dollar price tag) is it is a jar and I wish it had a pump but I just pour a little bit out to keep it sanitary. EDIT 12/10/2012: Still an HG Product for me EDIT 1/8/2013: still hg for me!

Foundations -Unlisted Brand - Lucy Minerals Foundation
rated 5 of 5
angiee0215 9/30/2012 4:10:00 PM

I am NC15, acne prone, redness, very dry in the winter and very oily in the summer and between I am normal. This stuff is amazing. This stuff is very pigmented, natural looking and buildable. If I am applying this all over, I use a flat top kabuki brush like the one by Everyday Minerals. If I am applying it in areas of redness and not all over my face, I use my ELF small tapered brush for areas like around my nose, chin or cheeks. I start out with one thin layer and then I go back and add more to areas that need more coverage. You really only need a little bit, so I see this lasting a very long time. This has a creamy texture, so I don't see this working for me on very hot days unless I use a matte finishing powder. On days I am super dry I just apply another layer of moisture on top of my sunscreen. Also, this is great for setting my under eye concealer. This lasted all day for me, however, I am a nursing student and I am not running around all day. So I am not sure how long it lasts with excessive sweating. I am the shade Pale Olive or mixing 3/4 white and 1/4 cream. I have been using this foundation since August 3x a week and it doesn't even look like i put a dent in it EDIT 1/8/2013: I STILL LOVE THIS STUFF. I also like using it as a spot concealer for pimples and under my eyes. It covers so well EDIT 3/6/2013: I still love this! Right now I have redness issues and it conceals it really well!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
rated 5 of 5
angiee0215 8/28/2012 3:46:00 PM

I've never owned a paint pot before. I am NC15 with oily lids. Sometimes if I dont wear eyeshadow you can see the oil on my lids creasing. gross. Also, my eye lids are very red and you can see my veins. My skin type is normal/oily in the summer and normal/dry in the winter. I bought this paint pot to cover up the redness and the veins showing on my eyelids. This has a yellow undertone and I chose this to counteract the red. Upon first application it is very dry and you need to get past the top layer to really warm it up with your fingers to get that creamy texture. One layer of this blurs my veiny red eyes. I need about 2-3 coats to completely cover what I need. It blends into my eyelids and makes them look brighter and more awake. You cannot tell that I am wearing this because it is about the same color as my skin tone maybe a little lighter. I have worn this over 10 hours before with no creasing or fading. After dinner is when it starts to fade. I have only had this for a couple of weeks so its hard to say if it dries out over time or not. I will update if anything changes or if it starts to dry out. EDIT 12/10/2012: Still love and use this stuff with no drying out Edit: 1/28/13 I still love this stuff and no drying out!
