I am a huge fan of this mascara. It gives me great volume, holds curl (wp version) and decent length as well. The color is truly black and doesn't turn grey as it dries like so many other mascaras do. The wp version removes easily with cleansing oil (DHC). I am on my second tube of this little gem and I have no reason to even try another mascara. I get 16+hours of wear with no smudging or flaking whatsoever. Is has become a staple for me.
What a great foundation! Can be sheer or full coverage depending how you apply it/build it. Colors run yellow which is great for me, but those with cooler skintones might not love the yellowness of it. It doesn't break out my acne prone skin and gived the most beatiful satin finish. The only improvement I can think would be to add a pump.
Like everyeone else has said, the packaging of this is horrible. The pump is stiff and despite my efforts to only dispense a little bit a whole glob comes out, enough for at least 5 people. I could see a way around the waste, pump some into a sample jar and then use what's in the jar for the rest of the week. That's not where the negatives end sadly. Though I moisturized well this concealer managed to highlight lines I never even knew I had. Then I tried with less moisturizer and even no moisturizer with equally disasterous results. I will say that the coverage level is pretty good, but the creasiness makes this a complete waste of money.
Loose Powders -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Powder

This products has been touted as a cheaper dupe for the MUFE HD Powder. There are additional 'cone type ingredients in this product that make it not a dupe. This powder gives off a white cast so only the most pale skins will not experience a white cast, especially in flash photography, This powder leaves a very powdery looking finish as well. The oil controlling properties of this powder are limited as I saw shine breakthrough within an hour whereas I get no oilies all day with another pure silica powder (not the MUFE HD one). Also the presence of 'cones in this product make it not suitable for skins that can not tolerate 'cones. I would only recommend this to very pale people who do not need oil control and whose skin does not break out from 'cones and even then I would follow up with a spray like MAC Fix+ to get rid of the powdery look,
Brows -Make Up For Ever - Make Up For Ever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector

It has been quite some time since I have loved a product enough to write a review and give 5 lippies, but this stuff is great! It comes in a limited amount of shades, but each shade can be lighter or darker depending on how heavily it is applied. There is a learning curve when it comes to applying this, the previous reviewers are correct as far as amount. My brows are darkest brown bordering on black, I use #3 and for both brows all it takes is the amount that would fit on a pin head. Any more than that makes too strong of a brow. The consistency is a nice light gel and it dried quickly, but not so quickly that you don't have a chance to blend it. This product is also waterproof. Now I can have great brows at the beach, yay! The effect is natural and polished, I love it!

I used this as a concealer for under my eyes so this review is in description of that. The coverage of this is fantastic. Truly just the teeniest tiny speck goes a looong way. It's amazing how much so little can cover. This is a great thing since upon first opening this pot I was surprised how little there was of this when thinking this is meant to also be a foundation. This blends bery well and is super creamy. The problem for me that it is a little too emollient. With my oily skin this has too much of a tendency to slide around. Even set with powder this lasts only a few hours before it starts to migrate. If you have skin on the drier side this would be a great products for you. Sadly my oily skin keeps this from being an HG undereye concealer.
I really tried and wanted to love this concealer, but it was just plain awful. I am NC37 in MAC and I ordered the Tan color. When I first squeezed some out (great packaging by the way) the orangeness of this scared me. I applied it and it was wonderful, at first. After about 5 minutes it sank into my pre-moisturized skin and left me with peachy orange dark circles. Also it really made my whole eye area look dry which of course accentuated my fine lines. I decided to try a lighter color. I got pretty much the same results, but the peachyness I was left with was just lighter and still no coverage. I understand the new found awareness of this product comes from You Tube-ers being given this product for free to give a glowing review on. I will steer clear of these products from now on.
In my lifelong search for a perfect concealer for my very dark under eye circles I eventually tested this concealer. I am sad to say this was not even close to being HG. It is not opaque enough even with 3 layers. It did not crease however and blended well, just did not really cover much.
This is a nice warm dark brown very similar to MAC Twinks. The difference from Twinks is the finish. The starflash finish on this beauty imparts more of a burgundy shiimer than with Twinks. As with all the staflashes the texture is soft and buttery. I am so glad I got this during the re-promote.
What an awesome color!! The perfect orangey pinky coral with a nice sheen that's not overly frosty or mettalic. The sheen is a nice warm pink making this a perfect color for me. As the other reviewer said it is quite sheer, though I achieved opaqueness with 3 coats. A great part about the sheerness is when I layer this color over a pink polish I get just enough coral to make my color interesting. I'm buying a back up of this beauty.
I use this rarely on my lips, but I love it right above my cupid's bow to give a fuller look, just be sure to blend well. Where this product really excells ison my waterline and it stays put a good long time! I use this to open up my eyes and make the pop more. Makes my puny eyes look bigger and more awake. Everyone I have used this on says the same thing, "Wow, I have big eyes now" Simply amazing and if they ever DC this I will buy out every store in my area, I will never be without this perfect beige wonder pencil.
READ CONTINUED FOR BEFORE AND AFTER PICS* This mascara is my HG mascara and has been for over 10 years. This is available in every drugstore I have been in. Many years ago this (the waterproof version) was called Splash Out. The brush is your typical teddy bear brush. It is small enough to reach those tiny inner corner lashes. This formula both thickens and lengthens my lashes, has never smudged and only flaked a couple times when I applied waaaaay too much. I have worn this in the pool, in the ocean and lakes, water skiiing, swimming with dolphins, etc and never did it break down. The only thing I wish is that it had a glossy look to it, but I would not trade a glossy look for lack of performance and this mascara performs so well. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing mascara. So I'll let my before and after pictures do the rest of the talking for me. the 1st pic is my with my lashes curled but no mascara. The second picture is moments after the 1st picture with the L'oreal Lash Out wp mascara applied.
When I first heard of this product I had high hopes. Once I saw this in store I put a dab on my deepest line on my forehead. My initial reaction, I said semi loudly "Holy ****!!" Embarassed as I never curse in public, but I was so amazed at the result! I was so excited to buy this and try it out on all my lines. It filled in my pores nicely too and was very mattifying. The little tube it comes in is nice and keeps it hygenic. I took my new tube home and dabbed just a bit on all my little lines over my foundation. Immediately I could tell this was no good for the crepey lines under my eyes and it seemed to make my concealer seperate and didn't really do anything for those little lines, but I was liking the effect on my deeper forehead lines. About 2 hours later I noticed that my foundation had separated where I put the line filler, no bueno. The next day I tried it under my foundation and immediately loved the results again. Two hours later all of my foundation that I put over the line filler had seperated and seemed to pool in the lines. I think if you do not wear foundation this would be a great product. Since it does not agree with my HG liquid foundation (MUFE HD) and over time actually creases into the lines making them worse this is going right back to MAC. Bummer, work on the formula MAC, you almost have it right.
On my never ending journey to find a great concealer for my very dark under eye circles with fine lines I stopped to try this out. At first I was disappointed in the color selection. When I first applied this I was thrilled with the color. The peachness of this looks very scary in the pot but does a fantastic job at neutralizing the dark hollows under my eyes. It is very think (like paste) and after a lot of careful blending I was happy so far. I set this with LM Secret Brightening Powder and I really was happy with the results. No more than five minutes later it was as if the Erase Paste ate the powder and it was wet and shiny again. It sis not settle in my lines but rather it seperated around them which is not a good look. I added some more powder which then of course made it look cakey and less than five minutes after the 2nd application of powder it looked shiny wet and greasy again.
Primer/ Corrector -Clarins - Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch
angelyshis 3/21/2009 7:18:00 AM
One of my biggest beauty dilemmas are my large pores on and around my nose as well as some small pitted scars. This silky smooth formula feels a bit like any other silicone primer, but a bit thicker in consistency. A dab of this all over fills in the large pores very well. For the small pitted scars I simply take a little brush and fill them in with this primer and those little divots vanish! Ther are before and after pics in my profile for prrof this stuff really works. I also have oily skin and this does nothing to control oilies, but for creating a smooth canvas I haven't found anything better!! I am thankful that this is not very scented at all, but I do wish the packaging were something a bit more hygenic.
